I honestly doubt a patch is coming anytime soon and if it is,I'm betting console users will get screwed over.Would BioWare and/or EA sink so low as to make us pay for a patch?

Me too, I've been keeping track of Mr. Lang's activites here on the boards and it is certainly slowing down. That could be a good thing as maybe they are working on a good patch as we speak. At this point though I think we have to just sit back and wait.
Currently I am finally getting around to diving into ME2. I bought it at launch and wanted to wait for all (or atleast most) of the free DLC to be out before I really got into it. I've also spent some time playing Borderlands recently, amazingly fun game. If anyone has yet to play this I would urge you to give atleast a rental, it's incredibly fun, I'm not a huge "shooter" fan and it blew me away. Does'nt have a Bioware story but still an excellent game.

Yeah, it's kinda hard to say if it's good or bad. It could be good because we might actually get a patch, or it could be bad and it was just PR damage control for the expansion that added new bugs on top of the ones carried over.
I'd just like some information, a timeline perhaps, a date for the patch, anything really. After five months of waiting I really can't help but be skeptical, but I really want some info because I'm at the point where I'm about to give up on this game and trade it in.

God, I'd would love to give you all a firm patch date with a complete list of what's going to be in it. Fact is, I just can't. We are certainly working on one, but unfortunately for consoles it takes longer than for PC. The patch we put out next has to be something that addresses a lot if not all of the issues that we notice here, that our community finds, and yet still adds those little tweaks that optimizes the game. We haven't forgotten about consoles and we are working hard to get you a awesome, fan friendly, user loving patch so that you can enjoy the game the way it was meant to be be played. All I can do is stress patience, we are working on it, it is coming.

Don't be. There is no patch yet and it has taken them six months to even tell us there maybe one coming. Meanwhile, they have released DLC and an expansion. You have every right to loose your temper! It means you care enough about the game to try and keep BW to account and remind them that we are here WAITING FOR A ****ING UPDATE.

Response is appreciated. I like to think that at the core, we all love this game (or want to) and that's why emotions run so high. When you don't hear anything for so long, it can be hard not to assume the worst. For everyone still playing and for my own possible future interest, I hope it gets patched.
Mr. Lang, may I suggest at least coming on and posting a "we're still here and we're still working on it" post a little more often? A little reassurance, even if you don't have any actual updates on the progress, can go a very long way.

Like others have said just knowing there is a patch in the works in enough for now. I was really looking forward to this game and then for it come out a buggy piece of garbage was very disappointing. I took advantage of the ea store sell and picked up awakening for half price. I would like to actually get to play it at some point.
