I'll do my best to explain as this one stumped me for a while also.



You need to light all the "buttons" do not worry so much about the lines. Right from the start work your way into the middle, from there make a circle. I can't remember if clockwise or anti-clockwise is important, if one way fails try the other. Once you reach the "button" just before the "button" that you started the inner circle on move out to the middle circle and do the same again in the opposite direction.



Do the same for each circle, going the opposite direction every time you finish one circle. It is not needed to light up all the lines, you just need all the "buttons" lit.

I started from the outside going in, you can climb up that hill once in awhile and see how your circle looks and fix your pattern.

I think the amulet was good for a mage because I don't recall giving it to my warrior. I don't think I got +3 attributes though.

Well from my experience its getting all the buttons lit as well as ending where you started.

the amulet you get is called illumination and yes it gives +3 to all attributes

I did this by always clicking on the stone that is NOT connected to the existing fire trail - there are usually two or more stones that are available to click on once the puzzle has started. The fire follows the stone that you click on. If you click on a stone that is already connected to the fire trail, the fire trail will go out.

Definitely worth doing. I've got Justice wearing the amulet and it's pretty much icing on the cake for the end game now.

definately not worth doing you find much better equip - the simplest explanation: you know the "riddle" where you have to draw a house but are not allowed to cross any lines twice - thats exactly the same... you need to start at the most outer flame, then move to the ring in the very inside, go around, go up before the flame you came down, go around, go up the flame before you came down, go around

besides my illumination only gives me +2 to all?!

if you read the codex, it tells you the instruction lol.

you have to press the starting stone to light up adjacent stones and a trail of fire will light up.

the aim is to press all stones starting with the one that you press and LOOP all the stones so it ends at the starting stone again.

you can press in any format but all stones have to be pressed and the trail of fire has to go back to the 1st initial stone.

Note: the trail of fire DO NOT need to be lit up on the whole formation.

get to the center circle and go counter clockwise. After a full circle move to the middle circle and go clockwise. After a full circle move to the outer circle and go counter clockwise. If done correctly a chest will appear containing the necklace.
