I decided to participate in Enormousmoonboots' ME2 Love Interest poll, because I was feeling horny, but anyway, it said at the bottom that there were 76 comments yet none displayed.

I added my own comment to see if that would let me see them, but no joy.

I decided to harass Enormousmoonboots, because I figured she had setup a permission or something to stop me! I called her all kinds of ugly names, lambasting her about being an elitist jerk by not letting me post. She responded within a minute or so, being very patient, kind and respectful...so I called her more names and she started looking at other polls to see what's going on.

Anyway, long story short, it seems like comments on polls are acting funky. Hopefully Boots will post a few polls as reference, but here is hers if a web dev wants to take a peak (feel free to participate too, *wink wink*).

I also constantly get logged out after 3-4 clicks. Have to clear my cookies all the time.

The strange thing is that I can comment, but after that the comments still don't show up. The number increased, so I know it is there. I've tested this with my own poll.

It doesn't happen with every poll. In the list posted by enormousmoonboots, the first one doesn't show its comments and the second one does. So it must be random.

Edit: Cleared the cookies, but that doesn't help.

Javascript issues have the live feed going wonky, too. It's been this way since late Wed. or Thursday. No word yet on when it's getting fixed.

Alright, I figured out the problem. It's an issue in the code revolving around quotes inside of comments. I opened up Firefox' Error Console while looking at some of the broken polls and blogs, finding errors like this:

Not sure if it's Javascript or PHP yet, but I just broke Boot's first poll there. You can see my comment in the error above.

I have a feeling it's more likely a Javascript problem like Tsuga suggests, caused by something in the PHP code for that "Packer".

Is there a poll or a blog created by dev in which we can add such a quote in a comment? It might speed up fixing this issue.

I can't find a contact for the Social website. Accidentally annoyed ChrisMP, who it turns out handles the DLC section, and even he has no idea who the dev is for this side.

The problem is now fixed. Commenting is working normally again.
