[II Relics II]

Alright so I am at the Landsmeet and I can get to the part where you 1v1 loghain, problem is that my main character (level 16 Champion with a sword and board) can't seem to touch him. Even when I have Wall Shield activated Loghain hits 30's and 40's on me, and by this time most of my potion supplies are exhausted because of the big battle from before, so in other words I am screwed on that front. I have tried my other party members but the closest I have gotten to beating him is with Morrigan...

I am not sure what I can do, if I can avoid the whole thing by siding with Anora then I am willingly to go back to a previous save and do that. But I have a feeling that the result will be the same, I am also willing to going and completing more sidequests in order to get to a higher level. All help and tips are greatly appreciated.

Here is my party:

My PC (Tank)
Alistair (Tank)
Wynne (Healer/Support)
Morrigan (DoT, AoE/ Crowd Control)

This is my first true bioware RPG and I started at Easy and find it challenging yet fun at this level while I am mastering my tactical and micro-managing skills. I love this game and I am planning on spending many more hours playing it.

If you've got crushing prison, use that. You can then leisurely take him out using whatever spells take your fancy (You might even be able to staff him to deah ). When my mage dueled him he didn't even have a chance to swing his sword.



Morrigan would be your best bet I'd say. Stick to keeping controlled at all times and it should be doable.



Recommend CC spells:

- Crushing Prison

- Blood Wound (Blood Mage spec)

- Cone of Ice (Short duration, not preferred)



If you can give me an idea of what spells Morrigan has to work with that might help as well. With a melee character you're really going to need the potions (Possible to get a herbalist to mix you up a few while you're killing Loghain?).

You can't hit him ? you must have very low str, are you using precise striking ?



Best bet is morrigan, beat him with no potions on nightmare with her, used cone of cold and horror while using staff/winter's grap to slowly kill him.Just use any CC available and keep staffing.
