Not necessarily. Any codes, regardless of Xbox 360/PS3/PC, can be redeemed once you launch Dragon Age. At least, it should.



Thank you for the link, I'm attempting to activate one of the codes now in Awakening on the 360 to see if it works.

actually, it says down in the comments at the bottom of the page, that it's pc only by a member of the alienware staff. would probably make sense too since they're promoting alienware computers, i think.

Yes, you're correct. Upon redemption of the code, nothing appeared as a download and on top of that, a second prompt told me it was exclusively for PC.



Ah well, it was worth the try.

It comes up twice for me for some reason my allowed promotions page, both for PC. But yeah it doesnt show up for download on my 360

it comes up twice because there's a version for awakening and vanilla origins, and good lord it sells for alot

The reason why it comes up twice is probably because you get two shields - a tier 5 for DA:O and a tier 7 for DA:OA

Biggest Regret in Dragon Age, im playing it on the Xbox 360. If you really want to play the game how its intended and get all the advantages of teh cummunity definetly go PC version.

More DLC, Patches that actualy fix the bugs, nice mods (Im fond of Redesigned mod that updates all the graphics and makes characters look better.)

This is a PC only item, too whitch you get two. 1 for DAO and 1 for DAOA. Go to PROFILE under your photo and than choose REDEEM PROMO CODE. Than go to the game and your DLC area. It will auto start to download and finishes in less than 30 seconds, depends on your net connection speed.

Just downloaded it and took a look. Nice looking shield. It'll be interesting to see in Awakenings if you can put heraldry on it.

Where do you find the shield in-game? I can't find it in my inventory or my personal storage box. I even checked the merchants in the throne room.

(Only checked in Awakening).

Never mind. Apparently you have to use the game launcher to start the game, or it won't update your inventory.

It sells for 106 26 gold. But, it's not as good as the landsmeet shield. Since I was already using this, with heraldry already applied, I won't be using the bulwark. But the bulwark has a much lower strength requirement.

Edit: the value listed is 106, it sells for 26.

Yes, it will work fine like this. This is what I did.

someone not from US tried it? And do you tried (if not from US) to apply this DLC not from the game itself but with adding the file manually? I would love to have it but unfortunately I'm in EU :-/

@ Kosarev, tried using alot of Proxy sites but wouldn't let me log in, also tried creating an account saying i'm from the US with New York and an Albany Zip code but didn't work
