My chars are all at level 14-16, so I thought they'd be ok with any battle.
BUT. In Denerim, I keep meeting an assassin who gets Zevran to turn on me, ending up with my chars facing a big bunch of rogues.
My chars would probably be able to beat them if there weren't so many, but there just is nowhere to hide. Usually, I would beat these guys by getting them into small groups, but that seems to be impossible. All that I have to work with is a wide open space, so it's not much good for doing that.
Just wanted to ask if anyone could think of any tactics to make it easier??

Fireball. Mind Blast. That's how I took out Zevran's first assassination attempt - dropped a fireball on him right off the bat, another to take out the first group of archers on the hill and a third to take out the last group. Whatever was left of the assassins, the rest of my party mopped up. On the whole, rogues are not too good at fending off AoE spells - even if you have to drop it on yourself.

Sleep spell worked well for me against the melee opponents, my bigger challenge came from those pesky scattershot archers. For them, I used fireball for the largest group, and then I simply tried to "contain" as many individual archers as I could with spells like paralyze.
