1. In the second phase of the Queen of the Blackmarsh fight you can continuously trap a spark in a Force Field preventing her from switching phases and allowing you to wail on her without consequence.
2. Justice will in any positive conversation, with any gifts etc he will automatically go straight to +100 Approval (unless he has a thing for Elven Mages and that's whats up)

2. I had the same problem with Justice, and Sigrun too! Made a post about it, but nobody really commented on it (( http://social.biowar...9/index/1784070 ))

Oghren started at 0 approval for me, but I only receive the minimum approval from every gift I give him.
And both Justice and Sigurn automagically love me after I give them a gift.

I'm not an elf, nor a mage, when I got Justice his approval shot up to 100 (love)...yes...love..........
Same here, but then again I did get the rest of my companions after I did everything else.
(Justice love = very creepy)

The game also told me that he got the Major Plot Skill but it's not showing in his skill list.

Here's another glitch for Queen of the Blackmarsh. I started collecting bones by the big dragon skull next to the tear in the veil, find 2 up there, then head into town and past town find Kristoff's camp and the last clue for the love letter thing. start heading back to the big skull cause the clue is about through dead eyes the dragon views your prize or something, go through the town and get just outside of it, heading up to the skull, and i get transported into the fight with QoB, ok, i can do this. Kick her ass and then try and leave and low and behold, veil is still torn, can't leave. ugh. gonna have to reload, oh well though, no big.

Same thing just happened to me last night. I didn't even have all of the required bones you're supposed to have in order to activate Queen of Blackmarsh "on purpose", let alone wanted to activate that battle when I hadn't even BEEN to the Fade yet at all! Spent about 3hrs seeing if there was any kind of hidden wall/door for Nathaniel or Sigrun to open or lockpick, tried a few fire spells on various dead roots that sort of gave the illusion that they were blocking a possible trail (yes, I know, those are probably optical illusions of an overly hopeful mind
I finally contacted EA tech support this morning but they said they couldn't help with anything this in-depth & referred me here. I'm new to these forums, but I've searched around in here for a few hours now & can't seem to find if anyone else has found a work around. If someone has found a work around for this, I'd be eternally grateful if you could post it so myself & others can find it & get out of this mess without starting Awakening all over.
Yes, I know I could start Awakenings over, but I already have DA2 Bioware Signature Edition that I'd pre-ordered back in January in my hands & I'd really like an 'optimal' save/backstory of my character to import into DA2 for the storyline. As it is, I was already planning on re-doing Origins before moving on to DA2 before any of those redemption codes for having pre-ordered it expire & go to waste (found out way too late that I'd missed quite a few key things in Origins due to being so new to it & not even having a basic walkthrough in-hand for at least the 1st half of the game--yeah, I know... Ooops!).
Thanks bunches to everyone out there who is kind enough to help others, both in games and in real life!

I think what I ended up having to do was reload from my last save and working from there. Sometimes it could be a lag issue within the game itself and it resolves itself once it registers the kill. I've had that issue a few times in DAO and Awakening. I'm sorry I don't have a better idea to help you all

Hm I think I had this glitch once while playing but I wasn't teleported to the flight I actually started it. I'm assuming you mean the barrier that keeps you from leaving the fight area won't go down? Correct me if I'm wrong on that one

Thank you SO much for responding, Tallon!!! Your insights are so very much appreciated!!
Yep! You're exactly right on which barrier I was referring to!! Thank you! It's the Veil Tear that I've read in various guides (including the Prima Official Strategy Guide I'd been waiting on--finally arrived yesterday for what it's worth) is supposed to go down from a bolt of lightning from Queen of Blackmarsh as soon as this fight starts (so I've found out now that hubby & I started the whole Awakening content over & have now gotten through this part successfully). The only difference is that we didn't 'start' the fight--we didn't even have all the required bones yet (weird, huh?). He'd been watching me play as I was wandering around (kind of aimlessly) looking for a key needed for Ser Alward's Sword thinking that was a side quest that needed to be done before venturing into the Fade itself (turns out, not only is it not necessary to do before going into the Fade, it can't be done before going into the Fade) when I wandered into the area where her skull is & she suddenly 'ambushed' my party. It was all just really weird. Sometimes wandering/exploring aimlessly to make discoveries is part of the fun of these kinds of games & I love it (hubby calls it 'shopping' LOL!), but in this case it was a big mistake.
I wish we'd have been doing our own saves in addition to the game auto-saving so we could've just reloaded from before the fight triggering--once the fight triggered it had auto-saved & once she was slain it auto-saved again--there was nothing previous for us to load from. Lesson definitely learned! We have so many 'paranoid' saves on this playthrough it's hilarious! LOL!
I never thought of the possibility of it being a lag issue after wander around stuck in there for hours on end, finally quitting the game & then hitting resume, trying resume & load game the next day, etc... But that's not to say it wasn't (it's not as though we haven't seen the game freeze up before, so we should've thought of it) & if we ever get stuck like that in the future we'll definitely have some patience & consider that before deleting everything.
Thank you again, Tallon!! You definitely rock!! <3 Even though we did end up starting Awakening over, These are exactly the kinds of tips we needed so we can play DAO one more time without a hitch like this happening there for an optimum character/history import into DA2 (instead of the DAO 1st time playthrough save we have playing as complete newbies--LOL!)! We will definitely be remembering that patience is a virtue!
