Ok iv played through this many times, and i just dont get it. what is Cailans big secret agenda? Is it the alliance between Orlais? i think i missed something.

It was implied Cailan was cheating on Anora with the Empress of Orlais. Anora as you know is Logaines Daughter.

Cheating? Really? I never got that impression. I was thinking the issue was that Anora was barren, based on Eamon's letter.Last Darkness wrote...

I kept Loghain alive and took him with me to Ostagar. When we opened the King's chest, Loghain nearly blew a blood vessel upon reading those documents. To him, it was clear that Cailan was planning to dump Anora and marry the Empress of Orlais as a step towards uniting all the nations under one banner against the darkspawn.
