I came across a few decent staves in Awakening, though it's a shame that I didn't have a single encounter with a mage robe that might replace Reaper's Vestments. The main staff that strikes my interest is Staff of the Lost (my current favorite).
Anyone find anything else decent?

i personally think spellfury is best staff in the game + 4 attributes and + 20 spellpower rapid aim and 2 mana regen, dont get the point of rapid aim on a staff however

I'm fairly certain that Spellfury has +1 mana regen, no?

Staff of the Lost is the best for raw +Spellpower.
But Lampost in Winter has the best name.

Staff of the Magister Lords (From origins) or Staff of the Lost. (Mana regen vs Spellpower)

I just wish that more of the staves could have had the lamp post graphic I think that staff is bad ass and I defiantly agree with the OP on the robes, though by the end I was confident enough in my defense that I wore the robes found in the mothers layer for the pure magic and mana regen.
Oh and what I would have given for a new robe skin! Why is it that robes always overwrite your entire armour set anyway?

yea robes in this game were pathetic, only one i used besides reapers vestments was blood promise, even the one robe you think would be amazing (robe of the architect) was nothing to get excited over

What about all the lame looking mage helmets? All of them make you look like a wuss
Have you encountered any that actually look nice in awakening?

Oh that is true I almost forgot actually I'm an arcane warrior so I usually wear some kind of plate helmet but ya there is a nice mage helmet "Togue of Oblivious" but it's your standard mage helm tassels and all.
I didn't kill the architect in my play through what are the stats on his robes and do they have a unique graphic?
