I have an area that has some fog on the surface of a lake. Normally, when you enter the area, it may take a few seconds for the fog to start animating. I'm designing a cutscene that pans over the lake to give a sense of the space. However, the fog won't appear in the cutscene (in game, it shows up in the toolset) and only animates when the cutscene is over. Does this mean I'll need to insert the fog as special cutscene VFX even though it already exists in the area used by the cutscene?

Hey Qutayba, check under the cinematic properties of your object inspector (when you click anywhere in the white space) and make sure under Setting > Enable level Effects = True. If it is set to True (which is the default setting) you may have to add the effect to the cutscene.
The cutscene takes place in an instance of the level so not all assets (include VFX) are not always automatically picked up in the scene.

I fixed the problem by having the cutscene master object move with the camera. It was apparently a LoD issue.
