Edit: Ok, just saw them. Definitely a little throwback (right into the FACE) of the Dark Ritual, and Deep Roads it is.

I haven't seen them though! I was right?

Edit: Ok, just saw them. Definitely a little throwback (right into the FACE) of the Dark Ritual, and Deep Roads it is.

That is the direction it's taking... Unless ximena pulls a Gaider and leaves the ending like that. Edric's departure will remain a mystery for now

In all honesty, I like the unavoidable sacrifice of the Deep Roads. It's a truly tragic and heroic thing to know no matter what Grey Wardens march right through the Gates of Hell and take out as many bastards as they can before dropping.

I just don't want the Calling quite yet for my guy, he's only been a Warden for a year!

Why do people always want an happy ending, I do hope that we can get closure to the Morrigan thread, but I can easily see Bioware pulling some dramatic crap and have no happy ending to the Morrigan story. What can you do, my friend hates Dragon Age for the sole reason that Morrigan leaves and he will never play it again.

Hehe yes but its only been 10 years since he became a warden give or take in the comic so its a bit early for his calling. As such I would accept a good tragic ending by all means, I just have the feeling this story won't go that far ;D

Ofc there could be repercussions from the ritual etc. but we will just have to wait and see ^^

Err.. they already did that.

If I was drawing that comic I would make the Warden say to her that he got married and that he's happy. Rub it in her face a bit and then leave

Closure doesn't necessarily have to mean a happy ending, people just want to see what happens with Morrigan as she played a big part in DAO. It has been said many times through-out the thread - dropping Morrigan and the story that goes with her would be dumb (for lack of a better word). I certainly agree with that, I don't expect a happy ending but I expect an ending...

Well, as of now I personally just want some sort of satisfying, reasonable ending to the Warden/Morrigan story. The whole "and the Warden mysteriously vanished!" stuff is rubbish. I don't necessarily want a sunshine and puppies happy ending, but what I'd love to see is an ending to Morrigan's story with the Warden where you can actually affect the outcome in some way, whether for good or bad and not have it be left up to the Plot Hammer of Doom or a giant rock crushing the Warden.And if the writers want to flex their Plot Hammer a la the Dark Ritual, at least let the PC ask reasonable questions during such a scene and not turn him into a silent chump who can't even ask logical questions given the circumstances.

I like to think that BioWare knows this too but as to whether or not we ever get a satisfying conclusion is anyone's guess at the moment...

This is what I want for my Warden: a last chance to see Morri, make sure she and the child are safe and a to say my final goodbye.

If we got this in Awakening epilogue as a slide, we could have moved on to DA2 and a new story easily.

Honestly, if we don't have Origin stories in DA2, I'd love it if you had Epilogue stories where you could end up with drastically different endings that played out vastly differently depending on your actions...

Now that's an idea.

It would ceirtainly be nice to see your consequences rather than to just read about them.

My friend ruined my ability to take Morrigan seriusly I tried to play through with her and this happened:



Morri:Its so cold and lonley in my tent

Now every time I try to do this, I laugh to hard to concentrate.
