I really love how the darkness of the room makes the whole atmosphere sinister.
Nice to see Edric is feeling better.
Can't wait for him to meet his daughter or to see Morri's reaction when he tells her about his condition. Should be interesting.
Keep up the good work!

I agree with the manly stubble beard notion. I create most of my characters like that.Brockololly wrote...

Hahaha- everyone knows that real Wardens have manly stubble beards and slightly smug grinsB)
<- This guy is an exception though. He wears robes and waves a staff. He is not allowed to look manly.
The smug must be a side effect from from all the spells you took on your penis during the DR.

The imaginary game they've built up in their head is now gone, and we're to blame-- and they won't see the next game for what it actually is until it's in their hands.
That's pretty normal. Fans have their expectations, some reasonable and some far less so, but our goal is to provide an excellent game
Understanding that your fans will have their own insane expectations and will get angry if they feel they're not getting met even though they haven't played the game and putting up with it?
You Sir. Are a God.
What are you tryinig to say here...seriously?
In the spirit of fairness, we will assume for now that you are not casting insults of "insanity" at anyone or any comment contained in this thread until you've definitively demonstrated yourself the starry-eyed, emotionally unstable stalker your post seems to imply at face value.
Because if you are attempting feeble insults in the name of fanboyism, you have neither read the many well thought-out and articulate comments contained within this thread or not attempted any use of the many fine mods to the game that have been given life because of it; of course the possibility exists that you very well might be an obsessed, cave-dwelling troglodyte making a futile attempt to suppress valid criticisms of a product you've snapped over, in which case you can count on being ignored.
But for now, we'll give you the benefit of the doubt and just assume that you mean well, but have no knack for the written word and failed epically to convey your true meaning for the benefit of those who frequent this thread, and due to this lack of articulative ability have mistakenly come across to this thread's community as insanely idiotic.
BTW, David Gaider would most likely be insulted to be deified. I bet he would prefer constructive criticism (like that contained in this thread) to assist him in delivery of an even better product to you in the future.
Another one? Christ, well at least you gave me the benefit of the doubt. Read the post above this one it should explain it.
No harm done. I thought you might have meant something other than what came across. Everyone deserves the benefit of the doubt epsecially in the digital text medium which conveys intent so poorly.
I apologize for the pre-emptive strike I was hedging my comments on. We take this thread pretty serious and pride ourselves on being sort of a thinking man's/woman's thread on the significant (well, in our minds anyway) issues we have with the game.
Welcome aboard.

My thoughts exactly.Ash Wind wrote...
I can only speak for myself, but I clearly see the case for continuance and would be disappointed if it doesn't occur. Would it affect my purchasing decision for future DA products? Quite possibly depending on the direction they take.
But that is why BW makes the $$$, to make decisions like this. They cannot set me up for a perceived continuance, and not deliver, and then expect it not to affect my future purchases.
Well, Sega appears to have seen the light is is localising Yakuza 4, so that was a pleasant suprise for me, being a long time fan of the series. Sure its not DA2, but its a personal fave of mine. Don't care about Natal so long as I don't end up with mandatory motion controls forced upon me in future games (which will probably happen anyway).Brockololly wrote...
I think the EA press conference is
only about an hour. Not sure on that however.
I just want some
surprises at E3 this year- seems like everything gets leaked ahead of
time now, what with Microsoft Natal, or rather Kinect, and the plethora
of games that got announced and revealed the last couple weeks.
So
the fact that BioWare has played things close to their chest, has me
hoping they'll have Ray and Gregg materialize out of thin air and be
like "BAM! Dragon Age 2 !"
Also, greetings to ximena, I've greatly enjoyed your work so far - nice to see such dedication to the MorrixWarden pairing:P, though it seems that I've got some catching up to do having missed your last couple of updates

I think the moral of the story with Natal (or Kinect) is that you look like a fool while playing

He is not allowed to look manly.
Tread carefully with your words, Ser! My canon Mage could give Errol Flynn himself a run for his money!

It's great to see Ximena in the thread, I've had a lot of fun reading her comic even though it's singular glaring weakness of no awesome male mage lead ate at the back of my head, I've moved on and accept that in this AU Morrigan slummed for a Warrior :innocent:
I haven't been paying attention to E3. Any cool news?

Nope not really. Microsoft has their motion control "Kinect" thing which looks meh as far as games go. Only other thing out of MS's conference was the slimmed down 360 with a 250 GB HD and built in WiFi for $299 in stores by the end of the week.
But as far as games, they just showed Gears3, Halo Reach, Fable3 and Call of Duty. Plus a bevy of underwhelming Kinect titles.
T minus one hour now.......

-When the hell did Metal Gear become Ninja Gaiden? Some shemale cyborg ninja thing took over for Snake? Psssh.
-Announced a new Phantasy Star. I used to love Phantasy Star as a kid, Generations of Doom was an amazing concept that had me hooked when I was a kid. Glad to see the franchise is still around. I think they were the first major Sci-Fi/Fantasy world RPG.
-DC Online. I just can't dig MMO's for extended periods of time, it's what has me iffy about KOTOR. They keep saying KOTOR has a definitive Start and End, so that may work for me, but the whole prospect of 'grinding' and raiding in pursuit of the next new carrot, naah. It was neat seeing a bunch of the spots animated in 3D that I remember as a kid, but making a hero and then showing them fighting a horde of guys in streetclothes with ski-masks and baseball bats? Psssh.
-Saw something about Fable III, I never played Fable II past the demos. The first Fable was so dissapointing, and I was tired of Molyneaux's (sp?) constant pipedream lying, that I gave up on his products. I saw that you are going to play as the kid you had in Fable II though in the third one, hopefully they closed his story down well in the second one. That's kind of the progression I'd like to see with the OGB from background NPC to main PC/NPC if the story is done correctly.
-How many damn shooters can they make that all look and play the same? Honestly, I think I've seen 127 different shooters so far and can't name but three.
-Oooh, KOTOR and Assassins Creed stuff coming up.

We're not picky about who we let into the club as long as Morri love is evident.

For some reason I have this quote between Morrigan and Alistair stuck in my head about Brock and E3 and the possibility of a crushing dissapointment of zero DA news.
- Morrigan: And if you had not been recruited? What would have
happened, instead? - Alistair: I would have turned into a drooling lunatic,
slaughtered the grand cleric and run through the streets of Denerim in
my small clothes, I guess.
