The beta testers need to be fired. Pronto.
I
can't believe I voted for Bioware in that silly competition. The devs
came down to the forums and requested the support of "their community".
Fix your goddamn games first.
When was the last time they
answered to the "community" about legitimate concerns? Here I thought
Bioware was a serious company.
Yes it is quite amusing how quickly a BW-affiliated poster appears on inconsequential or pro-BW threads to garner fan support, yet they continue to steer clear of the many bug-related threads, even if its just to acknowledge that this issues are getting looked into.

I didn't even get into the bug that happens to a City Elf that when you go back to the Alienage with your romance partner, it has ALISTAIR asking about your betrothal instead of your romance partner, and if Ali isn't in the party, it gives a glitched screen. Plus the female warden romancing Zevran dialog options were messed up. Yes, I fixed it, and it works for Morrigan as well (yes, there's a line in there of hers you've probably never heard).
*grin* Give me an inch when it comes to ranting, I'll take a mile. I did all this for FREE, but it only helps PC users. People on the consoles are SOL
Edit: It's sad that the people who were paid to do this didn't!
Well this is the problem - its a different ball game now, this isn't the time of BG2 where the fans can fix everything up for everyone - anyone playing on a console is truly screwed. BW has developed a multiplatform title and one could argue from a moral standpoint that they have an obligation to fix up a faulty product to ensure that everyone is on a level playing field. Of course from a more realistic, business standpoint BW & EA are most likely not obligated to do anything.
Considering that fans have fixed up / are currently fixing many of the dialogue issues, what's BW's legal standpoint - are they able to use/ask to implement fan made fixes into an official patch for all platforms or is there an impediment to letting them do this? Outside of potential legal issues, it's all for the betterment of the game and the franchise in general and I can't see fans who have slaved away creating fixes not wanting to see them getting included in a prospective official patch. It just seems to me like it'd take a single dev one afternoon to amalgamate the various fixes into a single official patch.
