Do you guys think they can still wrap up the story of our Wardens with DLC?
Honestly I don't know. Leliana's Song has great storytelling power however the shoestring budget means that cut backs had to be made. They stuck it in Ferelden for the sole reason that they could re-use assets from Origins and Awakening, while I accepted this change and enjoyed it anyway there were quite a few people who were very upset by this calling Leliana a liar and savaging her character in Origins because of design choices made in a DLC. They couldn't even sort out the various endings in Awakening properly, My Noble was supposed to return to Highever and rebuild in Awakening she left for no good reason and never came back. They have the
potential to wrap it up with an expanision pack but that requires 1) Time 2) Taking Origins Endgame Decsions into account and 3) Money. They could just as easily mangle a conclusion to hell and back utterly destroying The Warden and their relationships in favour of some rushed hack and slash garbage in the deep roads. My Warden has 28 more years left, I'd like to see their stories ended properly and not just with death.
If this takes place
during our Warden's timeline it only raises more questions as to why they have to dump The Warden in the first place. My Warden is going to be around for another two decades so I'm super resistant to cameo's from Origins party members since for the vast majority of them It just wouldn't make any sense. At best it's pointless fanservice (See Tali ME2) at worse it actively undermines the significance of relationships formed in Origins, making said connections seem pointless in wake of a new PC who apparently is more important they anyone in the history of anything
ever.
