Well Liara won't ever do that to you
she's just blue, plus she's the only Asari in the galaxy with eyebrows
you can't discount that.
Benezia has eyebrows as well

Ha, I want to romance Flemeth for delicious drama, I think that is worst than darkspawn. Don't deny that it is. Lol
*snorts* Ahaha. For some reason, I tried imagining her saying Morrigan's "'Tis cold in my tent" line.
Actually, what I wonder is how many of Morrigan's lines in the game and behaviour are actually from Flemeth?
Morri grew up in the Wilds with almost no human contact (excluding the occasional templar zealot) with only Flemeth as her role model. I believe she would pretty much copy Flemeth's way of talk and behaviour. This would also explain why she keeps herself apart from others in the group. Once you see a different world around you, that doesn't match what you grew up with, you're forced to find your "comfort zone". It takes a very open and determined person (Warden) to reach Morrigan through her hard shell and show her the other side of things which she couldn't see while in the Wilds.
And romancing Flemeth would be truly interesting. Think along the lines of Morrigan, but much darker with none of the redeeming features that Morri had. I don0t think that would be a true romance in a classical sense. More like Flemeth using sex as a tool to get Hawke to do her bidding.

I am starting to fear that indeed Flemeth and Morrigan are the same. Maybe Morrigan was indeed her daughter, and after she send her with us she got rid of her one night unnoticed and recplaced her. It is somewhat odd that if you accept Morrigans quest and return to the hut, Flemeth is always there, just if you show up with Morrigan, than suddenly she is not around.
I hope my fears proves wrong and they it doesn't end THAT bad for all of us, i am just getting a bad feeling about all of this.

Haven't gotten to play anything today, was too busy chilling with my sister. Has anyone seen any improvements from the patch yet?

As for 1.04, using Mana Cleanse or Mana Clash still crashes my game. Which sucks... oh well.
I just saw this, but has anyone listened to the Official DA2 podcast yet? Apparently its Laidlaw and Wachter chatting about the game- http://blog.bioware....age-ii-podcast/
I'll have to give it a listen....

Yeah, if BioWare pulls the whole FLEMETH=MORRIGAN! card, I'll just lose all my faith in BioWare- it would be the ultimate GOTCHA! moment and I hope they realize that.

These guys serouily releaved me when they sad:
Top Priority is to not change or remove what made Origins great.
If they stick to that then I am one happy camper!

That is, if you do believe all those talk. While i agree they deserve the benefit of the doubt, Bw has said an awful lot lately. Some things were true, some were at least half true and some were very close to being plain lies

I'm more likely to trust the enthusiasm of the creative director than a marketing team. Maybe I shouldn't, but eh. It does sound like a game that I'd want to try out, even if I'm going to miss my Warden. I like the idea of customizing the world to an even greater extent than what was possible in Origins. I also like how the politics of your choices are mentioned a couple of times. I was afraid that the political aspects of choices might be left behind for the more obvious consequences like explosions and burning villages. I was also worried that they might ease up the "making hard choices" that was part of the fun of the game, and part of what made the game dark, but I don't think they will.

Still my main gripe with the game remains to be the change of the protagonist, even if I from a designer perspective understand how hard it must be to create a sequell with the warden. Still they did early on in the podcast hint at that origins is far from done so the xpac rumours might get confirmed at some point. Perhaps they aim to hit us with the last big xpac at christmas time?
Ill go dryhump my pillow now so good night ladies and gents, happy speculating

The fact that there's a voiced PC and paraphrased dialogue wheel already tells me that that's bull****. And they know it, since they were promoting the unvoiced PC as a feature in Origins.Giggles_Manically wrote...

Maybe you should join their marketing team? Damnit, i was pretty downright depressed and careful with DA 2, and you managed to get me somewhat excited and looking forward to it at the moment (that is probably, until BioWare releases news that get me depresses again=]).

I loved Origins but I aint crying about a new story, or a new charachter at all. If we get an xpac that closes the story then good. If not then oh well it was fun, but being an emotionless mute, who struck dumb poses instead of emoting is something I am not going to miss overmuch.

just check back a few pages, Brock posted a bunch of pre Origins dev quotes where they explained in great detail why they thought a hero without voice would be way better to have the players identify with their heroes and get that special feeling of connection. Today, that same arguments made by community members are no longer valid.

That I know of, I wondered if there was marketing about it.

I do not know, but i guess you could consider giving a bunch of interviews to gaming mags always stating the very fact that yor games allows for more and deep immersion and personal connection as they did not voice acting for the hero marketing.

They could do an amazing job, but what I dont like so far is how we only know "THE TONE" our choice will take. I hate in ME that sometimes words come out that you didnt expect. Especially the Pro-Cerberus ones in 2. BLAGH!
