And here is the "Maybe" 2D Morrigan from the youtube version- its maybe a little more clear here:

I was under the impression that it was the symbol/logo of Kirkwall.Brockololly wrote...

Maybe it is the Hawke symbol?
But I noticed Flemeth in there, and it could be Morrigan.
Edit: It might be an alternate cinematic for if you did the DR. It is supposed to be a short recap in the beginning IIRC.
Could be a Hawke... but would they be so literal with Hawke, giving him a goofy graffiti?

Why do I have a feeling like it's her hand... the style is very... ugh stylized so it's possible. Traced over the image the way I see it.
Looks like it is Morrigan pushing her hood up. She has that pauldron though seemingly without feathers. Then she has a bracelet.

Well, here is how I see it (behold my mighty paint skillz).
The bottom thing is hair coming down and out from the cloak and the top thing is the Flemeth-horn.The branches at the back is probably more for framing purposes than anything else.

So I'll be the first nerd to break it down frame by frame...well at least 1 frame, blurry as it may be...

Maybe some German speakers can clarify this finding from this thread:Querne wrote...
I´m not sure if it was mentioned before, but the German gamona side tells, that also gamers on the PC there won´tbe able to zoom out to get an tactical overview, because it would make fighting details and animations hard to see and rise hardware requirements. Instead better camera views were promised:
Die taktische Ansicht aus Dragon Age: Origins (war nur auf PC möglich), die mehr Überblick in den Schlachten lieferte, entfällt komplett, auch auf dem PC. So weit herausgezoomt würde man die detaillierteren Kampfeffekte nicht mehr erkennen und auch die Hardware-Anforderungen wären höher. Zum Ausgleich soll es bessere Kameraperspektiven geben.

Thats total rubbish if they get rid of the zoomable camera on the PC and get rid of the tactical view....could they be referring to the PC version?

It could be someone entirely different than Morri. I'm just grapsing at straws for any Morri news...But I'm thinking this chunk of 2D art is the intro stuff, and will likely cover the events of Origins.
Namely, make her more goth looking, paler skin, basically make her look more like a creepy witch. I would not be happy if they went that route, but say they did.
Looking at that concept art, then compare it to the maybe-maybe not Morrigan face in the video:
The wooden staffs seem to match up, unless the its not really a staff in the art, but just decoration.
The hood- Morrigan is one of the few people in Origins to have a hood- although she never wears it in the game, just the promo art.
Thinking of what thet curly white thing could be- since it seems Hawke and many others have fur adorning their clothes now, could it maybe just be a bit of animal fur on her robe or something?

Here's some info from Chris Priestley about DA:O and Morrigan:
"In my chat with Chris Priestly, he told me that BioWare is going to keep making downloadable content for Dragon Age: Origins, and that they are planning to keep the DA:O franchise going for as long as they can — so the changes in Dragon Age 2 aren’t necessarily the end for more traditional roleplayers. There is also likely to be a third full Dragon Age game — and Chris told me that they are not yet done with Morrigan’s story."

Is it just me? Or did he really hinted it might be possible that all their "we continue her story" was not about DA 2, but maybe, just maybe, some future content for DAO or a third Dragon Age game?

WiP of a child Morrigan I am working on, about one and half hours in:
I can show this when this is finished or post hourly WiPs if you like, I'm bored enough to do both. I do it in both Zev!thread and Dwarf!thread, not sure what the protocol is here ><;

I don't know.
They keep saying Morrigan's story isn't over quite a bit lately. At first I thought they were reffering to Morrigan making an appearance in DA2, but right now I 'm not so sure anymore.
I don't think they're going to wrap it up with a DLC. Most likely we're looking at Morrigan having a big role in DA3 and hopefuly we'll be able to have the reunion between her and the Warden there.
Still, I'll wait until they reveal all the information about DA2 before I come to a conclusion. Who knows, they might give us some Morri related info.
