Hehe somehow draft 6 is yet another improvement over 5 but still...not morrigan but I could buy into it that this is how morrigan looked in her early 20's. Very much kudos, you almost have one of the faithful converted...almost
Soooo close!
Too bad I'm out of ideas on where to go from Draft 6 or what I'm missing, that's about as true to the original while still fixing the flaws as I can get.

This is really, really pretty. It's awesome how you can pull off such an authentic watercolor look with your program.

This is Vanilla Morrigan[/b][/u]
However for the sake of seeing something through to the end I preset the last kick at the can Draft 6.
Being a hater of most companion face morphs, I'll say that one isn't too shabby for Morrigan.....but its not Morrigan;). The eyes look ever so slightly different, but I think its also the general shape of her face too. The vanilla version has a more rounded oval like shape yet your morph has the more angular jawline it seems. ANother thing is that the vanilla version seems to have more of a slight smirk even when in "neutral" mode.
I 'm tempted to try my hand at it and mess around in the toolset now...

Bloody funny how they capitalize on our no warden rage about da2 xD
Yeah, the new monster looks interesting, but ugh.... come on, we don't want our Warden back to do another damn dungeon crawl- we want the Warden back to reconnect to the old characters and places from Origins.... gah, they don't get it, do they? And if this takes place post-Awakening, then our Wardens didn't really vanish or go off searching for Morrigan? Whats the deal?

FWIW, here is the Game Informer DA2 podcast in case you haven't heard it already. Nothing too new, but some slight clarification on some DA2 things. The first question they answer is amazing- the person who wrote it must be some kind of a genius or something....

I was sitting here thinking: I have bought the points, but am trying really hard to find a good reason to spend them on "Leliana's Song" and not some add on for Army of Two, TFD. I know most here are not grim shooter goons like me, but at least investing in Tyson and Rios I'm damned near guranteed to see them in the next installment of their franchise (even if they are bros).
Sorry to interject. Just thinking out loud here.
Leliana's Song wasn't bad- but like Soignee said, know that its just a retelling of maybe what happened- its not lore.If you liked Leliana, I'd recommend it. I thought it was ok, but was hoping for a bit more in the way of meaningful lore and there really wasn't too much.

So a failure but not a total failure.

The problem largely lies in that many of those features are tied to the Morrigan unique shape slider that screws up the nose, makes the bottom lip big, the top lip fold down and inwards and lastly causes the eyes to come to a bit of an unatural angle on the outside. This all works against you, trying to normalize the problem areas is very difficult when the sliders no longer behave as you expect them to. I can see why most people prefer to start from scratch and dump the whole vanilla design out at the beginning.

You should get the toolset and the core morphs, I can never see what's in your head and I for one would be intereseted in what you do.

Stupid DLC. They always get me excited, and then they're always kind of meh.
Import your character from Origins or Awakening or create a new, high-level hero!
http://dragonage.bioware.com/addon/
So we can bring in our Origins Warden, we could even bring in our Orlesian Warden, or you can create a new high-level, origin-less(?) Warden. Sounds like a one-shot. Might have an interesting story, and I freaking love the Deep Roads. I thought the Leliana's Song new characters were only meh, so not really excited about more new characters. I don't know. Part of me really wants to try it, and part of me doesn't want to spend money on more meh.
Crossing my fingers *so hard* for a meaningful expansion.

You know the only thing that bothers me is that I'm not so sure I want to continue investing in Origins. Since the DA story methodology is to jump around Thedas in the skins of multiple PCs playing loosely affiliated stories with innumerable companions, I just feel like why bother getting to know anyone in any detail if they are just going to be the next sequel's fodder. It's just so immersion killing and nearly impossible to get excited over. Leliana's Song seems so sentimental and insultingly nostalgic now that the 'improved and amped' has been revealed.
Eh, I'm burnt out on DA for right now, so I won't be buying any more DLC for it. I'm looking forward to DA2, despite my misgivings. But I'm pretty much done for a while...until I get my laptop fixed and resurrect my mage and human noble canons.

My only real concern left for DA2 is the style of telling the story, and the voiced PC.

Even if the story is fantastic and the voice is good, I don't think anyone will feel more attached to Hawke than their Warden. We may like him/her but we definitely wouldn't prefer Hawke.

Yet so many people are saying that they couldn't get into the Warden because the Warden was like an emotion-less void. Do people have this same complaint about the Elder Scrolls titles, I wonder?
On topic: With all this talk about Morrigan's looks, I was thinking. In the DA2 screenshots of Flemeth, her features look a lot more rounded and less angular (despite the more angluar art style to which the developers profess). I wonder if Morrigan showed up in DA2 if she'd look more like she did in the Sacred Ashes trailer.

I am worried to be honest. If they get "retcon happy", Morrigan might be changed and that would not bode well for me.

What the fuzz is up with those horns? What's the point in retconning to put horns on the Qunari? Stupid

Didn't they plan on Qunari having horns in Origins, but they didn't want to mess with horns dealing with headgear and stuff?
I guess it kind of makes sense, because the Qunari darkspawn have horns, but it still seems unnecessary, especially since their body is different than the Qunari we've met. I wonder if they are going to retcon Sten's body to look like the New!Qunari?
