Yes, when I PM'd Seagloom to get the thread opened back up she said speculation about Morrigan in DA2 and beyond is fine just cut back on the general DA2 chatter.  But Morrigan is fine in the Morrigan thread!

So I was curious where *exactly* the epilogue slides hinted at Morrigan's location, and I ended up compiling the slide info to the best of my ability here: Origins Epilogue Slides: Morrigan

I find it curious that the only slide that mentions Morrigan specifically in the Orlesian Empress' court is the one where the DR was refused and Morrigan was not pregnant.

Obviously if you kill Flemeth that part just mentions what were Morrigan's plans...but it makes me wonder if Morrigan and Flemeth aren't somehow in cahoots still?

Oh yeh i killed flemeth last nite, some how it was easier with a mage, who knows but i had alister tanking her, the bloody rogue died instantly, so was us 2 mages and alister beating down on her, when alisters health got low i would help wynn heal a bit then go back to dpsing, but got her down easy, lvl 9 mage.

Indeed mages make the game a bit too easy, try 3 mages and a tank its bloody redicolous how easy it becomes. Allthough in the few places you have templars facing you it is not so easy since they just spam you to hell xD Morrigan as dps, Wynne as healer, your warden as mage dps and alistair as a tank is pretty much the most broken combination in the game.

Yeah that is a strong combo, I usually use it when I have my main being a tank but mostly that is not the case since I'm a rogue **** Dualwielding rogue + alistair + morrigan + leliana is my favourite party, who needs healing when you tear through the enemies that fast Still morrigan needs the heal spell in order for it to work and some areas it is better to bring wynne instead of leliana but I just like the mix a lot better with 2 dps in the party, dunno why

edit: wow wh.ore is censored...seriously we have america to thank for a lot in the censorship department xD

Many are talking like it is a foregone conclusion, and for the life of me, I can find nothing that explicitly says so. But, then again, I have not been watching the boards closely at all lately. Any help?

Thanks Aphetto.  I actually remember reading that.  It's hearsay, but it's pretty good hearsay.  I'll continue to keep my expectations low, having learned well over the last 9 months at the hands of the DA development/writing Team.

We have been told that Morrigan's story is not over, but we don't know in what form her story will be revealed to us. I'm hoping for a DLC at least, an expansion at best, but it could get to us by some other way.

Anime: Perhaps, but considering that neither the DR or US is canon, I don't see them attempting to cover all possible angles in an animated movie format.

Novel: Same with the movie, and I think I remember DG saying somewhere that he might like to write a novel again someday (have no idea where I read this ), which gives me the impression that he didn't have any plans to at the time, so I don't see Morrigan's story being handled this way.

Comic Book: If they wanted to do several chapters covering the different possible branches of Morrigan's continued story. Ximena is doing a pretty badass job with this format, already, I must say.

DA2: The only thing that gives me hope that Morrigan's story won't be handled in DA2 without our Warden is because we've heard that there is no "ancient evil" involved in DA2. Maybe an Old God is technically an "ancient good" though, and they're faking us out.

Patch: They could always just patch a different epilogue slide into Awakening. Would that suffice for Warden closure?

DLC: Hoping for this at the least. The story would inevitably be more shallow. But it would be something.

Expansion: Basically a DLC but much longer, with much more room to do something deep and meaningful.

If it's in hard print, you can forget about any specific mention of the Warden. If it's e-media, there might be a minor mention or possibly even a cameo appearance pending how its done.
