Many are talking like it is a foregone conclusion, and for the life of me, I can find nothing that explicitly says so. But, then again, I have not been watching the boards closely at all lately. Any help?

We have been told that Morrigan's story is not over, but we don't know in what form her story will be revealed to us. I'm hoping for a DLC at least, an expansion at best, but it could get to us by some other way.

Anime: Perhaps, but considering that neither the DR or US is canon, I don't see them attempting to cover all possible angles in an animated movie format.

Novel: Same with the movie, and I think I remember DG saying somewhere that he might like to write a novel again someday (have no idea where I read this ), which gives me the impression that he didn't have any plans to at the time, so I don't see Morrigan's story being handled this way.

Comic Book: If they wanted to do several chapters covering the different possible branches of Morrigan's continued story. Ximena is doing a pretty badass job with this format, already, I must say.

DA2: The only thing that gives me hope that Morrigan's story won't be handled in DA2 without our Warden is because we've heard that there is no "ancient evil" involved in DA2. Maybe an Old God is technically an "ancient good" though, and they're faking us out.

Patch: They could always just patch a different epilogue slide into Awakening. Would that suffice for Warden closure?

DLC: Hoping for this at the least. The story would inevitably be more shallow. But it would be something.

Expansion: Basically a DLC but much longer, with much more room to do something deep and meaningful.

Good insightful ways ahead on Morri. Hope BW is taking notes...or ahead of us.

Well unless you pick some of the specific starter lines with Morrigan you miss the romance, where as Leliana and Alistair have tons in each of their dialouges.

OOOoooooo a potential Morrigan DLC. AWESOME. Hopefully the Warden is involved. Just playing as Morrigan isn't my cup of tea. Nothing against her of course, but the reason why I kind of liked GoA (ya, no story and hard as hell, what's wrong with me?) is because I was my damn Warden. If Bioware wants to convince me that DA isn't just about the Warden then fine, but Origins is so give me content that includes him damnit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hehe, i got the "my love" bit, u have to say u will chase after her, which she replies that would not be wise, then gives in and expresses her true feelings. I think she wants the warden to chase after her, to prove he really wants her even tho she turns him away and demands he not follow.

Maybe she knows he will come alone. where they can truely bond.. This time i let alistiar kill Loghain as he annoys me

Yes its nice that people who romanced Leliana run off with her (like 90% of them did at the end of Origins) but the other LI get a kick in the butt, especially the Morri mancers.

So , the debut trailer for DA2  (and maybe a look at Morrigan? *staying on topic*) comes out this coming Tuesday the 17th. This is also the same day as EA's press conference for Gamescom- coincidence?

Splitting this thread has done us no good it seems. Just another fan thread of DAO and former companions as well as some kind of organized critique dying out.



You expect to see Morrigan within the trailer? Apart from that i highly doubt it, i never would want that. Get a glimpse of her in a 2 minutes trailer? Whats the use of that? I put my hopes in those rumors to get a nice dlc and Ximena to provide some nice closure to the Wardens story. Imagine she really appears, i will just be some teasing shots that will leave more open questions than answers. And sorry, we already have more than enough of that. I don't feel any need to add more "Whats about Morrigan questions" than we already have

If they say the story isn't over then i assume they mean the current story between the warden and morrigan, wouldnt make sense to put her in another game altogether.

they said its not about characters but just and only about "interesting stories about Thedas", so i wouldn't count on that
