I'd've thought that such cross-promotion (DA series-The Sims series) would have been more fitting in The Sims: Medieval Edition though.

DID SOMEONE SAY HUMOR?????????? ............. Ya I've got nothing. Mysims cameo eh? WOW. Lets just throw Anakin in there while we're at it. Maybe some of the carebears too, now THAT'S a game.KnightofPhoenix wrote...
I was joking too. The entire forums could use a bit of humour.
I was watching Revenge of the Sith yesterday and the scene where Anakin and Padme are looking out their windows on Courasant to the scene where Palpatine kills Mace (
@Brock That Smith/Morri picture a page ago? Ya, EPIC

They did say that Morrigan's story was not over and that Morrigan fans would not be disappointed. And with knowing Bioware's track record, this is probably what they meant.Brockololly wrote...
Well I for one am THRILLED to see EA giving Morrigan a cameo in MySims SkyHeroes!

It's the most profitable console because it attracts casual gamers. What's keeping EA from porting it? I can see it right now...
"Dragon Age 3: Mario in Thedas"
Cameos from Morrigan and Pikachu.

I especially like the look upon her face, its like she wanted to say: "i don't wanna do this either, tis is a disgrace, but those EA and BW brainbugs force me to do so".

She's gotta make those cameos, do photo shoots, and attend red carpet events. Not to mention the advertising deals. We'll be seeing her face on the side of the Slurpee machines, and in Happy Meals in no time.

And random Morrigan factoid of the day: Who needs any closure with Morrigan and the Warden? Bah! How is this for cross-marketing brilliance from EA? Morrigan will appear in MySims SkyHeroes! What the hell is the world coming to?

EA tend to be so creative these days.
I realized today if you play on XBox, you can dress your female Avatar in the Morrigan robes. I know its how things are handled today, but this kind of crap still makes me want and devalues the characters people put so much effort in to let them appear like living and breathing beings with an own, distinct personality. Now they're like barbie dolls, dress up and play
On the whole Morrigan army issue, this site analyzed the trailer frame by frame as well, and they did not recognized a Morrigan army. Not that they know better, just posting another point of view, as i don't believe in the Morrigan clone army as well (Though it would make a nice subtitle: DA 2: The attack of the clones, and then DA 3: The return of the Warden).
And another DA 2 review you might not know

Sort of interesting to think about. I have no doubt that Morrigan is going to play a larger role from here on out. The DR was so heavy handed, and the developers are so (publicly) indifferent and virtually silent about her, that it only makes sense to me now just how important she truly is to this story. My only real criticism of the franchise at this point is the status of the Warden and more importantly his "unfinished" business in the tale. Thinking of him as just a genetic donor to an OGB and being pushed off stage by another hero, is just not sitting well with me. It just seems so wrong, especially after his forced neutering at the DR.
I've always seen the DR as a contrived end; not natural, not poignant, not intriguing. It was brute force in story telling to ensnare interest. Of course that method works in print, but tends to really ****** people off in interactive storytelling where they are playing the main character in the first person. The Warden deserves his moment, since I think his near-single handed defeat of the Blight was marginalized to near zero (unless you did the US) by the plot gods. So, I too am thinking along the lines of him returning in the future to either reunite with his swamp witch or maybe mutually decide to part ways.
Of course, his return IS highly speculative at this point due to new and improved voiced PC, not to mention the fact that a piece of dirt (we are told [and yes, I'm over simplifying]) is supposed to be the main character.
Morrigan without the Warden doesn't work for me.

I'd be ok with Morrigan on her own, provided that there is some measure of closure or understanding between her and the Warden before she goes off to do her own thing. But to just leave it as it stands with the Warden searching aimlessly while Morrigan goes off to do her own thing? Not buying it...

Bioware would still need to deal with the same problems the had after Origins, like different races needing different VA's, not everyone doing DR or not every Warden being alive after DA:O.
Bringing back Hawke seems a lot easier unless the mess it up by having too many different endings in DA2.
As for closure between Morrigan and the Warden, they can do that either in a DLC or in epilogue after the end of DA3. Personally, I'd preffer the former, since that would allow for a on screen reunion.
Having both Hawke and the Warden together in the same game? Next to impossible to pull off without pissing somebody off.

It would seem that a return of the Warden in DA3 would be logical depending on the timeframe of the setting. If we assume that Flemeth and Morrigan are being cast as adversaries, perhaps Hawke is throwing in his lot with Flemeth and the Warden might (just maybe) be called upon to decide who he will support. Granted, it sort of weird to think that two character you've played as main protagonists would be brought together in a follow-on episode, but that has happened before (in my experience) with HALO (Master Chief and The Arbiter). Perhaps they unite, perhaps they they stand in opposition.

Good analysis, man. This Morriholic with a Warden that romanced and DRed her can only hope. Only reason I am sticking with DA for the moment. DAO is best game ever but Morri conlusion and seeming marginalization of Warden is major, major put off. As an older gamer (30s) less inclined to put up with that. However, younger gamers while making less money, probably get more corporate love due to profit by volume for EA.
