So....it seems if I have the 360 version, I'm pretty much toasted in trying to get the full Morrigan romance?  (Didn't read the entire thread.  but it sounds like there's a fair amount of major bugs/missing lines).

 ok, NOW fixed.  Actually, the last ones I uploaded were probably ok.  For some reason, it didn't feel like reading the files in my folder any more.  Zevran was off too (I wasn't just esc too quickly to notice).  So HERE!  Will upload updates and stuff later in official places.   As usual, use with ZDF, have these files overwrite existing ones, etc.

Edit: It makes me sad, too.  I would love to hear Zev's tattoo conversations with Alistair.  I'd also love to hear the one where Leliana calls Zev's bluff and tells him to show it or shut up!

Funny, I was thinking of Morrigan while I was watching the Leliana scene. This was right before the eyelashes comment that scared me back to a quicksave I'd made when I first entered camp.

I swear, there are moments I'm convinced this game reads my mind.

Please tell me these lines are in the game... i want to hear them. The toolset doesn't play them.

The wiki doesn't have them listed, so I'd be willing to bet that they aren't. I personally haven't heard them, in any event.

I was going through the toolset yesterday and saw those lines too- sadly I don't think they're in the game. Pity, because I love Leliana and Morrigan banter.

This is sad, but, am I the *Only* person who prefers Leli and Morrigan to be getting along than at each-other's throats over the Warden? When Leli Tells Morrigan that she's happy Morrigan found love with the Warden, that's pretty cool of her. Of course, Morrigan comes back with her, "Love is a Weakness and Cancer," line, Lol. But still...

I have to say I was impressed by Leli's apology to my male PC for her rather guilt-tastic breakup dialogue. She went up a notch for that.

Leliana definitely takes breaking up with her alot better than Morrigan does.But part of Morrigan's charm is how nasty she generally is to everyone. She always tries to get the last word in yet its always funny when one of the other companions trips her up, like Alistair commenting on how Morrigan's nose looks like Flemeth's or when you get the banter between Zevran/Alistair and Morrigan regarding Morrigan's beauty.

Any luck with her sidequest so far? That confrontation is really interesting. If you tell her you let Flemeth live she leaves your party.

just finished looking through the thread for answers. I'm a console player so I have no choice but to speculate and wait for a BW moderator to comment. I will say, however, that in general, Awakening doesn't seem to follow continuity from Origins. Heres an example.

I finished my first awakening playthrough with my female elven mage with a Zevran romance at the end of Origins. Went through Awakening, picked all the "by-the-book" choices (much as I did during Origins), and the ending slide for my character says that she went to Antiva and rumors said she either had a final showdown with Zevran in Antiva City or that they continued adventuring and/or formed their own assasin's guild. This was despite the fact that I convinced Zevran to abandon his former life and associate with the Grey Wardens, therefore giving the "Zevran becomes a Grey Warden trainer" slide in the Origins ending.

Overall I kinda view the whole thing as similar to all the Dragonball Z movies (Dead Zone, Tree of Might, etc.) are not part of the Dragonball Z anime continuity.

Awakening seems to follow a separate story with the only timeline fact being that it takes place after the Blight.

Good luck finding an Answer in here. I posted a few questions, and I'm under the impression they were relegated to "Troll" status, despite the fact that they were genuine. It seems like the Thread really only has a handful of people going back and forth with one-another, with the exclusion of all others. Sadly, having spent alot of time in the Tali Thread on the ME Forum I can kind of understand that....but I digress.

If it's any consolation, I've played alot with my Console version. From what I can tell, and what I've read here, the files and cues for key marked moments in the game designed to transer over to Awakening are incredibly bugged for most of the Companion LIs, though it seems Morrigan and Zevran got it the worst. Unless you meet *very* particular circumstances for either of those characters during thier respective Romances their ending won't transfer over properly into Awakenings. It's sad, especially for those on the 360 or PS3 because the patches to fix those will likely never come and we don't have access to the Modding community.

At this point, I just threw up my hands and played a human noble male who married Anora, since that transfers over with no problems since thier isn't anything complicated with that except for whether or not you let Loghain live, which I did. So...yeah, the best you can do it try different combinations of dialogue options, make sure Zevran is at Love (i.e. Max Rep) with you when you complete Origins, and if all else fails, reload the Epilogue file. Good luck,

I'm sorry you feel that way. I'm not the one who sold you a broken game.

I've been active in this thread since day 1. I played the final battle more times that I can remember and i went through Awakening twice playing the same character so I can find answers. In fact, I did provide answers and so did others. If I can't track down every single post and address it with things I said again and again it's because I'm busy.

For the past three days I've been exploring the toolset with the risk of corrupting my game(in fact I think I did).

Modders are also spending their free time working on these issues for no profit. I know how console players feel but we can't really do anything about it. We're not Bioware, we're unsatisfied customers just like you.

Maybe someone will post the missing cutscenes/dialogues  on youtube once they're fixed. I'm also planning on compliling a full list of what is missing so we can put it on the 1st post.

That is all we can do. Bioware is the one that considers you( and us) a troll. We're just trying to help.

My question is this: Do I get the epilogue of awakenings "warden goes to search for morrigan"



If I:

1: Became Chancellor? (I know this triggers in awakening that I am the true power behind the crown)

2: Kept morrigan at 100% approval.

3: Told Anora/allistar that my intentions are to go looking for morrigan?.



So, if I told Anora that I will go look for morrigan, after I tell the queen that I wish to serve the crown, do I still get that (warden goes to look for morrigan) epilogue ending at Awakening?

Apparently what you said after the coronation doesn't matter.

All you need for Awakening epilogue to trigger is Morrigan at 100 aproval and in  "love".

1. pc_staying - If you say you don't know what you'll do or if you stay at court
2. pc_leaving - traveling or looking for Morrigan
3. pc_greywarden - stay and rebuild the Wardens

Number 1 and 2 won't affect your Awakening ending. It will acknowledge your romance.  I didn't test #3.

I'm now very curious to find out what ending are we supposed to get for HN that married Anora and romanced Morrigan. In the un-bugged version of course

Also... can someone please tell me how to make these damned modules to work? I tried fixing Leliana's reaction to the Anora/PC marriage but I don't understand what's wrong. The script in the toolset seems correct and yet i get the wrong dialogue in-game... tsk tsk

What exactly does Leliana say to you?



She told my character that she respects Anora too much as a queen and a woman to come between my character and her. Then she basically broke up with me.

If she's "hardened" she has a different dialogue and doesn't break up with you.



You always get the "unhardened" response in-game. It probably requires 2 minutes of tweaking something in the toolset, but I don't know how to fix it.

I always wondered why a hardened Alistair would continue the relationship but Leliana wouldn't.

When I PM'd Gaider on this issue a while back he said that he beleived ( but wasn't sure, since he didn't code it) that to get the Morrigan epilogue in Awakening you had to 1.) Have Morrigan's romance active and 2.) You didn't choose to return to the Grey Wardens at the end of Origins.

But whether or not it actually is coded that way....

Well, I can tell you that a warden who married Anora/Alistair for political reasons but ended the game at 100 Love with Zevran ended up staying with Anora/Alistair just get the "royal" epilogue card, not Zevran's epilogue card.  Whether this is what is intended, I have no clue.
