Edit: I'm so so so glad I have a character that romanced Morrigan. Definitely importing him for this.

Words cannot express how pissed off I am at this. This should have been an entire expansion. Their track record dictates that this means the Morrigan finale will be butchered. <_<MoSa09 wrote...

yeah, so after my initial excitement, I'll join you in the skepticism.
First off, its the Korcari Wilds as Shiori guessed.
Second, though, why is Morrigan back in Ferelden? She said she would never return- unless we're about to get Gaidered and its not really Morrigan but Flemeth or something.
Will they really answer all questions about Morrigan? In a $7 DLC, no less? I have my doubts...
What the hell is the deal with the Old God Baby?
I'm excited but at the same time, depending on how this is handled, this is make or break as far as my continued interest in DA.

Yep. Morrigan is the biggest loose end in all of DAO and I'm holding my breath along with everyone else, hoping that it really delivers. I'm hoping it's not a cookie-cutter conclusion since they need to account for both outcomes of the dark ritual. Mostly I'm happy that it's coming out so soon. I'm tired of DLCs being announced and then no word for a solid month, leaving fans hanging and angry.Brockololly wrote...

They are reusing DAO locations for the DLC. If you take a look at the screenshots you'll notice the Brecillian Ruins...Brockololly wrote...

Well..... it says "All Your Morrigan Questions Answered!" on the banner ....Brockololly wrote...

I'm just reliving the DR scene in my head right now...
Warden: What are your plans?
Morrigan: I can tell you, but it will cost you seven dollars.
Warden: I don't have any Bioware points left.
Morrigan: Then I do not wish to tell you.
*Ten months later* Witch Hunt DLC

First some screens!

Ok, so this tells a good amount. First, it looks like Dog is back! The we've got a Strider in the background. From the DA2 site, it says:
These huge spider-like creatures stand on four massive legs and can move
with surprising speed. Spitting corrosive poison and able to leap after
prey, these creatures are deadly guardians, often associated with the
lost, ancient elven culture of Arlathan and the times before that the
elves have lost to history.
Then it looks like you've got 2 new companions- one a mage guy and the other Ariane, a Dalish.

From the site:
Ariane is a gifted Dalish warrior, and her clan's best hunter. When an
ancient artifact belonging to the clan's Keeper is stolen, one with a
history tied to the very roots of the elven people, Ariane is charged
with the task of reclaiming it. She is determined to carry out her
solemn duty, and when her task turns out to intersect with the Warden's
quest to find Morrigan she realizes that there may be far more to the
artifact's disappearance than simple theft.
So again, we're left with Elven history- first the Strider then mention of a missing MacGuffin..I mean artifact.

And what look to be ruins, with Shrieks- which as we know are Elven darkspawn.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------------------------------
Here is the full description for the hell of it:
"Never follow me." With these words, Morrigan vanished into the shadows.
Her plans and her whereabouts have remained a mystery... until now. But
whether you seek answers, revenge, or reconciliation with your lost
love, you may find more than you bargained for.
The dreaded Archdemon has been slain and the advance of the darkspawn
halted by a lone, heroic Grey Warden. The kingdom rejoices, but at least
one question remains: what happened to Morrigan? The sorceress joined
the Wardens cause, but it is said her true purpose was not revealed
until the eve of the last battle. She vanished into the shadows, and
while rumors claimed she crossed over the mountains into Orlais no trace
of her path could be found. She was never heard from again... until
now. Nearly a year has passed since the Archdemon's death, and word has
reached the Wardens that Morrigan has returned to Ferelden. She has been
sighted in the southern wilderness where she was first encountered. Is
it truly her? If it is, then why has is she here and what secret does
she carry with her? The Warden heads into the forest to find out and tie
up this last loose end once and for all.
The whole, "is it truly her" point makes me think we may be in for a Gaider moment. The very fact that they retconned her epilogue from going into Orlais to returning to Ferelden has me skeptical about this whole thing. Is this simply a cash grab? Or was this the plan all along? The very fact they're claiming all answers about Morrigan will be answered in a $7 DLC has me very worried. Nevermind that Morrigan isn't a companion for this, I'm worried we'll end up with just one scene of her once we go through some monotonous dungeon grind.
Still, this seems to be the resolution we'll be getting for Morrigan and the Warden. This is it. How BioWare and Gaider handle this will really determine how much I continue giving a damn about DA....

Three outcomes, really. Yes DR, No DR/yes romance, No DR/no romance. Last my m!Surana heard, he might have been a father even though he turned the DR down.

All three outcomes are intriguing. I wonder how are they gonna handle all three of them. The Loghain/Alistair sacrifice with Morrigan romance(and regular baby) would be just too complicated to write in a DLC.Corker wrote...

Can some of you guys help me out? If i use Terra's mod, do i have to replay th whole game to get both endings, or can i reload at save up to a certain point and still enjoy both endings?

Thats my concern now- I'm guessing this DLC is what that is referenced in the toolset with the saving of everything involving the DR. But I'm concerned about how the plot flags will carry over- how much of a disaster would it be to meet back up with Morrigan only to get "What comes my friend?"

Thats why i intented to make two (yes i know i am weird. The one i already have, flags set like the game does, and a second one with the mod to be on the safe site. And yes i know i am weird:P
As i wanna use the same character, i'll ask again, does someone know the latest entry point so i don't have to replay that much and still get that mod to work ?

Hmm a missing Elven MacGuffin, darkspawn and ruins that re use the assets of both Drake's fall and The Elven ruins in Origins. I don't think it's too wild a guess to say we're working with some very old very forgotten Arlathan magic, possibly intertwined with The Taint?

Well it seems to be a fair bit of assest reuse to at the very least the lions share of the budget is going towards writing and voice acting. A dungeon grind is a sure thing, however they might splice story into it as well, traveling through the environment getting clues as to Morrigan's plan. I'd be more worried about the "more than you bargained for" line I don't want them to just pull a "Here pay $7 and then watch you Warden die, now ARE YOU READY FOR SOME DA2!!!"

Not to be overdramatic but me too, if they can solve this in a matter that makes sense and leaves you satisfied then I'll have an easier time moving into DA2. I still have gameplay concerns with that sequel but I won't have these deep story concerns, which are probably the biggest thing killing any interest in that game.

Maybe the Gaider moment is just that: another voice actress for Morrigan
