They seem more excited about DA2 since they have a better focus on their graphics and marketing. I hope they run a tighter ship from that point on. I don't mind that this is the last DLC, but I wish I had known that my warden was an one-shot character because I would have made different choices in my canon game. I thought there would be dire consequences, but it really does sound like any saved games I import into DA2 is nothing more than Mad Libs in which they will just insert the names of the dwarven and human royalties here and there.
I don't have high hopes for this DLC. Nothing that has been done in terms of story continuity has made much sense since Origins, and the signals here ("lone Warden" meaning no returning NPCs, "back in Ferelden" meaning recycled areas, one year passage meaning no real consequences to the DR) tell me that this will be a cheap effort. I hope I'm proved wrong, but it seems to me that the business side of the franchise is overtaking the creative side and I don't like what it's doing.
