 Hey guys, just went and got my new car . I'm glad we've got an update when I got back!

First things first, finished Master Shiori's request for a Leliana signature (sorry it took so long, a mix of a cold and buggy Gimp caused me to do it about 3 times before I actually finished)




Hope you like it, if you don't just tell me what you want and I'll change it accordingly.

Now to sink into the info.

*GOAN* Putting aside his name rhymes with Wynne (really Bioware?), he sounds like he's a naggy, good-two-shoes or a brainiac that doesn't shut up about this research etc. 

To be honest, I'm on the 'I don't care about the companions' wagon. They weren't engaging in Awakening, I doubt they will be in this game. However the mention of Tevinter history seems to point that he is our guide to all the weird things we're going to see...which sucks, because I'd rather hear it from Morrigan herself...

This DLC is going to blow...

Isn't there a typo in there? Looks to me like it Says "Rose of Orias" instead of "Rose of Orlais". Could be wrong, but it certainly looks like that to me.

*sigh* besides Morrigan, Leliana is just another awesome character i will greatly miss in DA 2. I am sure they can come up with new and good ones, but so many of them had so much depth and potential for more, and they have grown so much to me. Animated text would be good, maybe a toggle between "Leliana" and "I tried to be merciful!".

No typo, the 'L' just looks like an 'i' (if you look closely it's just faded), it's just the font that makes it look that way. (Also there is an i next to the s).

I agree, for some reason I have a feeling I won't connect with the characters in DA2 at all. Just like in Awakening, I will feel like "they are just some new guys, nothing like the old crew" and be completely disconnected and loss immersion. The characters (aside Oghren and Zevran) are very deep and there stories are pretty unique and compelling...

Do you want CGI Leliana by the way? Some people seem to prefer her.

Thanks alot!! It's a new Mini! But dang, it was expensive though, £15,000. But I've saved up a while for it and now I can get rid of my dingy BMW that I've had for like 5 years.

I still remember Daveth and Ser Jory from the Korcari Wilds sections of the original campaign, and they seemed pretty well fleshed out. Hopefully, these two companions will be at least as well written.

As for the Morrigan and Witch Hunt. Does suck I'm thinking Finn is going to be Wynne 2.0, and I hope that isn't the case, so the last companion is probably dog which implies Morrigan will never be in our party which kind of sucks. I'm going to keep my head up about this DLC though they have to knock this one out of the park, or else they will leave the customers with a very sour taste in their mouths for about a half year to a year or whenever the next DLC is, and with the recent track record of their DLCs I don't think they want a bad DLC especially this one festering for that long.

Wonder what they will do if this backfires. From a technical point they seem to be going too fast, story wise it is too apart. The only successful fantasy series I can think of with this approach is Discworld.

This what I get for being impatient and assuming you wanted a CGI Leliana (which I just finished making), oh well, I'll post it up on the Leliana Appreciation thread from them to use . Thanks for linking the pictures, I'll have a look and decide which one to use.

Don't worry I sorta like Anora too . I'll whip up the sig as soon as I'm done with the Leliana one and thanks for the congratz . If the wording is really long a can A) Animate each line make the sig bigger. But if you're okay with Queen Of Fereldan then that's fine :happy:.

Don't worry, it's not biggy, I haven't posted the sigs on the Leli thread yet, so have a look at them here (I did two verisons of the CGI one..don't ask why). Man, if it wasn't for this cold I would be working 5x faster but I need to stop for sniffle time now .

Not to interupts all the Sig/banner requests (all of which look Incredible by the by) but I've been looking for something with Morrigan and I'm having a **** of a time finding it. Everyone been to the main page for the Witch Hunt DLC, right? Right there on the page is this Amazing shot of Morrigan's model from the Blur Trailer. Does anybody know where that image came from? (Yes, aside from the Blur Trailer) I was hoping to find it as a standalone or set to a Wallpaper, Just the image itself would be great. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.

As for that screen shot that looked like the Circle Tower, Finn being from the circle pretty much confirms it. Which is cool because it seems like we'll be traveling to find our party members instead of just them being there. And Wynne and Finn? Too similar for my taste....... Morrigan would not be pleased. I bet she's the one that'll end up killing him too, come on? The description for him even mentions death, I smell some foreshadowing.

That's from Sacred Ashes trailer, right before Morrigan blows the HIgh Dragon away with lightning.

Honestly, I get the feeling Morrigan will end up killing both the elf and the bookworm mage.

The Warden will most likely have the option of helping her do it or defending his companions (in which case Morri will likely flee after a short battle and a few angry words).
