Hehe, I have this very same mentality. It's the reason why I only have one Warden, my HNF... who in an alternate universe was a mage, and in an bizarre universe, was an elf (who didn't look like an elf...).

Umm when I romanced her I don't remember any specific remarks about me being a Dalish apart from the fact that I told her "I'm not human, so I don't know" when she spoke about all the 'touching' in human society. Also...is it crazy that I've started a new game in Origins and plan to go through to Awakening before witch hunt comes out? .

Well not exactly in the case of Maheron who wanted to see and explore all views himself and get his own view on it first. He saw that many Chantry people werent devils,and that many Dalish (ie Zathrian) were lost to their hate. 
He didnt agree with her view that only survival mattered, his clan and family he held higher than his own life.

Also Leliana, ninjamanced him and he has a weakness for redheads since she is the first he saw. I didnt start a Morri romance with him since all the goofy lines were in charachter for him so he missed the ones that start it.

Also he thought of the DR "Yes because bringing back the Incarnate form of one of the gods whose worshippers saw my ancestors massacered and enslaved is such a nice idea"

Dosent matter since my evil Mage liked Morrigan the most, and he stuck with her.

So you're the man to ask. I always felt to me like Morri is designed to romance a Cousland, and apparently most people did. But i always thought i could be fun and interesting, as maybe fitting, to try an elf as well (someone who needs a steplatter for a simple kiss is out of the questions, yes dwarfs, i am looking at you ).

So how does it feel to romance her as a dalish. That question might sound stupid, i was just torn and undecided if i should try at all, and what feels better and seems to fit her more, city elf or dalish elf?

Honestly, the Dalish Warden and Morrigan are almost made for each other.

They both feel like outcasts (Morrigan from human society and the Dalish having lost his homeland), hate the Chantry, share common opinion about magic (Dalish is the only Warden who wouldn't have a problem with Morri being an apostate and has even heard of shapeshifter mages before) and dislike human society.

So romancing Morrigan felt like a natural thing for my Dalish. If you can put yourself into a correct mindset and see things as a Dalish would, you'll find it to be a rather unique experience when compared to other Origins.


And Cousland is also a good fit for Morrigan, but that really depends on what kind of a person he is and how he feels about magic, Chantry and apostates.
A magic hating Chantry loyalist Cousland wouldn't fit with Morrigan, but would find common ground with Leliana.

Mine is an open-minded guy who doesn't really care about Chantry and it's rules so no problem there.

There is a Dalish specific line when you ask Morrigan about being a shapeshifter.

You get to say how Dalish Keeper posses similar magic to which Morri replies that she'd be interested in talking to them in order to discover where they learned it.

If you skip dialog it should be OK. Otherwise I hope you can play at least 75 hours before Tuesday afternoon.

(Laughs) Yikes, apparently I need to work on my Grammar, because this isn't what I asked at all. At the main web-page for the Witch Hunt DLC, right as the top, is a super-imposed shot of the Morrigan Model from the original Dragon Age Origin's Trailer by Blur. Standing there, blue lighting in hand. It's a great image, and I was hoping it had pulled from stock. I know it's the same image on the Morrigan Lithograph they were selling not too long ago in the BioWare store. I'd love to have the image for my Desktop or just to have the image period. I wasn't asking for the Trailer (Hell, if I didn't know about that -at this point- old Trailer I'd have shot myself) just looking for the Image used. Hope that clears some things up. Sorry if this is "way" off topic again. Trying to keep up with you folks can be murder at times.

She never voiced an opinion about werewolves in my games. Is it after you suggest the idea? The city elves situation seems another different writer induced schizophrenia (sp?) situation. She wants Sten and Jowna freed but not them?

My friend was playing a City Elf who romanced her.
He dumped her for that and kicked her from the party.,

He was more mad at Bioware for not letting him yell these are my family and friends in there!

What do you mean? They're all *my* Warden. 

It's not like I'm letting someone else's character romance her.

She never advocates that you side with the werewolves against the Dalish. She only approves if you do it on your own (not even sure if that's the case since DA:O Wikia doesn't list any approval gain with Morrigan for siding with the werewolves). Besides, it's not like a Dalish Warden would ever suggest killing his own people, epecially since Lady of the Forest wants a peaceful resolution.

On the subject of Dalish disapproving of Morrigan being human; that would only matter if your Warden was still an active member of his community.

Since you left your clan to become a Warden, I doubt they'd care too much about who you take as your partner. But it really comes down to your Warden and whether he'd be comfortable with the idea of romancing a human. If he would then Morrigan is a perfect fit.

Well to be fair, the werewolves will only be an option if the player brings it up, so a Dalish who suggests killing the Dalish shouldn't get too angry at Morrigan for approving of that.

My Dalish is an archer rogue, since I thought that the ranger spec is perfect for a Dalish.

My Cousland is a sword&shield warrior.

Yea true about the werewolves options. I don't recall Morrigan losing any approval if we go by the other two choices.

First: Thank you for the Image. It's brilliant, even if it not exactly the one I was hoping for. Still great.

I actually don't mind Sacred Ashes Morrigan that much, its just whenever any of the characters open their mouths to talk in that trailer, its VERY Uncanny Valley and creepy.

I'm curious as to what the red/pinkish thing is behind her? It seems like some sort of force field or something? I can see it now- you get to the Elven ruin or whatever towards the end of the DLC and see Morrigan, have a brief chat from a distance only to have her run away into the ruins, cue you chasing through the dungeon after her. Only to find her and likely "confront" her in some boss fight where she goes mad with power over the Elven MacGuffin, then get your answers in some 5 minute Awakening/Architect style scene.......sorry for the doom and gloom, but....

The DR scene was so hard the first time I got to it.
I turend my screen off and went outside to think, and then think some more.

Really have to applaud Gaider for doing that.

Oh, definitely. I remember when I first got to it, it was late at night and I was going to stop only to be surprised by Morrigan being in my Warden's room. Definitely an "OH S***!" type moment. I knew something was up with Morrigan and was waiting for the big reveal ( I was thinking she would be revealed as the Big Bad or Flemeth or something or she would die somehow) but the whole OGB thing took me by surprise. My initial gut reaction was to shut her down since she does a terrible job of convincing as she is too evasive with details, but seeing as my Warden was romancing her and trusted her he went along. And if anything went to hell, he'd be around to deal with it. But once the "OMG!" shock of the DR wears off on subsequent playthroughs, its very easy to tear that scene apart RP wise and in terms of gimped dialogue choices.
