Did the video get taken down?

It´s already in Youtube.

I take the elves destroyed the mirror if the Origin was not Dalish, or is it that Duncan arrived later and couldn´t save the PC?

I guess here's where the Dalish Origin receives its non Dalish Warden reference? All of the other origins receive their alternate outcome mention (brand who tried to fight in the provings, King Endrin's favorite kid, Teyrn of Highever, Jowan's escape, elven weddings being broken up...)

Just watched the Witch Hunt trailer. She did sound evil, and she talked about temptation in kind of an amused way instead of a sincere warning or desperation or anything. Still, my hopes are that different Wardens will meet "their" Morrigan. If most people think Morrigan is just evil, then I'm not suprised that version of her shows up in the trailer.

Ooook.....Not much to say really.

Were those mirrors connected to the fade again? Weren't they somehow connected to the taint (hoping for Morigan to cure me of the taint)?

And I agree with Brock, Morrigan sounds a bit too cold. But maybe that's her initial welcoming sentence. Maybe we can break through that quickly, if romanced or befriended. But yes, I am worried that they are planing to make Morrigan a villain.

Morrigan being evil is her most "popular" trait. Again I wonder who the marketing people think they are selling this to.

I think the forbidden and doors things is about following her. Damn Flemeth, I´m going to enjoy killing her in next playthroughs.

But Morrigan isn't 'evil', at least, she isn't in Origins, to make her a villain in this DLC will only serve to annoy me and many other fans (which wouldn't exactly match the 'morrigan fans won't be let down' quote).

Yeah I agree, it was referring to the Warden tracking her down...but man~ I hope my Warden doesn't have to sacrifice himself or something.

That being said, I'm in the middle of my Origins re-do, just killed Flemeth .

Here's a twist, mirror explodes Morrigan dies Wardens who romanced Morrigan run off with that Dalish chick to screw in the woods, last thing you see is an advertisement for DA2. Are you ready to Hawke?

IIRC you see the black city through it, or at least something very much like it. If it is from the black city or if the mirror has been corrupted in some other way that the taint in it stems, I don't know.

I'm ready to chalk up that the Morrigan everyone knew died with the DR. She may have been Oghren'd.

One can only hope we get various outcomes based on our standing with her at the end of Origins.

So I take it that the mirror is the Dalish artifact the Dalish Elf companion is looking for? If it's the same mirror from the Dalish Elf Origin, weren't both of them counted for? Tamlen was seen as a ghoul and the Dalish Warden became the Hero of Ferelden...

She does enter in my definition of evil (no empathy and not caring hurting others to get what she wants even if there could be another way), but you could see there was much more to her if you just tried. But she´s always been marketed as the Token Evil Teammate. This late it shouldn´t have been like that.

I didn´t expect a warm welcome from her really, at least she says something instead of attacking.

The plot is likely another set up for DA2. Either that or a longer plot that got screwed by that game.

Yea I think this is likely. Makes sense at least. If the Black City is supposed to be the source or origin of the taint, and if those mirrors are doors (perhaps used by Tevinter magisters, which I think is indicated by those statues) to access it, then it might be possible for them to transmit the taint.

Is Morrigan trying to use the OGB or something else to purify the black city and end the taint?

I just have a bad feeling (surprise, right?) that whatever Morrigan is doing with the Tevinter mirrors and the OGB is getting her in WAAAAAAY over her head and something is going to go awry. No good comes from messing with those mirrors it would seem.

How much do we want to bet that the only time you see Morrigan in this DLC is at the end where she is in front of the mirror?
I can see it now- Morrigan touches the mirror and gets sucked in only for it to explode behind her, having her vanish, only to have the MorriClone Army reappear in DA2.......

And am I the only one getting a Lord of the RIngs palantir vibe from the mirrors?

I DON'T WANT TO GET GAIDER'D AGAIN! >:(

Again, the OGB is not going to affect story in such a way that causes significant dvergences in gameplay. I think either she is trying to deal with Flemeth´s plans of succession or in the year since Origins has developed her own agenda. Not bad if she was pregant in that time. And who´s taking care of the child then?

Possible ending with romanced Warden and no DR would be her giving the child to the Warden.

I hope I have the chance to go with her. She needs both help and someone to keep her in check.

I've immunized myself by saying the worst possible ending out loud, now Gaider can't hurt me. Here's another ending, Dungeon grind for an hour and a half reach the end just as the Mirror explodes killing Morrigan and consuming the entire party in the blast. Only The Warden and Dog survive, both die of the taint within the hour. Roll ad for DA2.

Morrigan's presence in front of the mirror does have me wondering where the heck she put the OGB? Surely she wouldn't leave it all alone? Or will that be ignored or written off for those that did the DR....grrrr....

I think it's almost certain that we will only see her at the end, with her at the mirror.
Who here thinks we can persuade her to change her mind? I personally don't think so, but I hope we could at least influence her in some way. Don't let it be too much out of our control.

I am really curious at what Morrigan is trying to do.
It would seem that even without doing the DR she is interested in those mirrors. So what roles does the OGB play in this? Is it not essential or required at all? Does it simply make things easier?
Is it part of a grand design, or is this a completely different plan all together?

And yea, one ending I imagine is her going through the mirror, it exploding and us never being able to follow her and see her again.

I'll wait for the DLC to come out before coming to any conclusions about Morrigan.

Trailers are supposed to get people interested in a game, either by revealing something awesome or by shocking their audience.
So I'll reserve my judgement until I've actualy played Witch Hunt and seen how it effects both Morrigan and the Warden.

oh boy, and i thought i was all doom and gloom

While i admit that scenarios scare me as it does not sound completely off, even i have my doubts Laidlaw would have the guts and impudence to publicy claim Morrigan fans won't be disappointed what they have in store for them if he already knew its going to end THIS WAY.

I agree on the aspect that we will most likely see her close to the end. I would love to run into her early in the dlc, maybe fight alongside her one last time, or do some quests for her. And please, if she has some issues with the mirror, give us the god damn option to help her out.

The lack of referance to the OGB makes me think that it will play no part in this. Also what would she gain from purifying the black city?

Actually, scrap that, she would probably get butt loads of power if she accessed the city...after all the Tevinter went there for a reason.

Like I said, I doubt OGB is going to play much part of it..

Most likely Ending is that if romanced or friendly you have the option to join her and raise the child toghther. If flemeth is indeed evil and wants the child for herself, then morrigan is going to need or the help she can get. ALSO, she must have known the warden was coming...the ring. What the flying nug, why didn't she just leave when she senced him? She must have obviously wanted him to follow her.

If there is no reference to the OGB, then why even have the option of the DR.

I see more plot holes in Bioware's future.

Ok, so if the OGB is not here and for some reason Morrigan dies. What the heck will happen to our kid? :(
