Ok, here goes. Witch Hunt trailer dissection and speculation.
Here is the voice over with my comments-
"My people crossed paths with another Dalish clan not too long ago. Two of their young hunters encountered a strange mirror in some ruins. One disappeared and the other died."
So the trailer starts with panning over a forest- it look sort of like Brecilian Forest from the beginning of the Dalish Origin. Then we've got Ariane's quote above, talking about Tamlen and the Dalish Warden. I'll get back to the Dalish Origin in a bit. Seems to be thats just a flashback with Duncan smashing the mirror and all.
Finn: The (unintelligble) isn't just any mirror. Broken it could be used to find the others.
Ariane: What do you know?
Ok, so we've got the shattered mirror from the Dalish Origin still being useful broken. Apparently when broken it can be used to find other mirrors like it? This all shows Finn as Mr. Tevinter within what looks like the Mage's Tower Library.

Then it cuts ominously to Morrigan pacing in front of one of the Tevinter mirrors in what looks an awful lot like Drake's Fall / Dragon Bone Wastes, almost even the same spot where the Mother used to be plopped down at.

For reference here is the codex entry for Drake's Fall:
Legends speak of a place where dragons go to die. In the far south, in the lands of the barbarian tribes, it is said that a dragon at the end of her days lies down and allows the bitter cold to take her.
It is not just a legend! I have seen Drake's Fall with my own eyes, the ancient bones of these grand beasts piled atop one another. I felt the power that suffused this place and knew the Imperium would claim it.
We built a city on the bones. We delved deep into the earth, collecting what remained of the primordial dragons who were so like our Old Gods. With these bones we created staves for our magisters, armour for our warriors, and crowns for our archons. We fashioned phylacteries to hold our blood and sarcophagi to hold our bodies, and prayed they would make us immortal.
- From the writings of Archon Melos
Next we cut to this... *gulp*

Dammit Morrigan! Nothing good comes from touching those damn mirrors! Just ask Tamlen!
Cue dread chills as sloooow, creepy Morrigan speech begins:
Flemeth once told me that temptation lies in the forbidden.
Cue Dog and the Warden arriving at Flemeth's Hut:

Notice that its only the Warden and Dog at this point? I'm thinking Flemeth's Hut is your first stop to search for clues before you pick up any other companions.
Do not follow me, I said.
Cue, Dragon Bone Wastes at night, with Strider screeching atop what looks exactly the entrance to Drake's Fall:

You can also see your 3 companions there, Dog, Finn and Ariane That looks exactly the same area where the High Dragon was in Awakening.
Some doors should never be re-opened.
Cue ominous slow head turn Morrigan in front of the mirror, looking somewhat evil and possessed. Honestly, has anyone ever had their back to someone only to slowly turn around with just their head and NOT been evil or the bad guy?:

Now, hmmmm. Where have we seen that look before? Oh yes! Everyone's favorite scene! The Dark Ritual! Specifically, when you turn her down and she gets pissed:

And, end trailer!

Intermission!===================================================================================
Now on to my speculation!
Based on everything we've seen and know here is my attempt at a balanced view how this DLC may break down. I'll try and lay it out chronologically
- DLC starts, maybe quick voiceover or (my dream!) a quick 2D animation to set the scene and the Warden's task. Flemeth's Hut is the first stop as the Warden goes there to search for clues as to why Morrigan is back in Ferelden. At this point he is only with Dog,as seen in the screens.
- He searches the Hut, and possibly finds clues hinting at the mirrors. Upon leaving the Warden gets intercepted by some Dalish, leading us to recruit Ariane.
- Ariane asks you why you were at Flemeth's hut ( maybe your Origin choice comes into play here with Flemeth) as from The Stolen Throne, we definitely know the Dalish are aware and scared of Flemeth. You explain and she fills you in on maybe hearing something about the mirrors.
- Maybe, you go back to the Dalish Camp now or perhaps you go to the Dalish Ruin from the Dalish Origin. In the Ruin you find the broken mirror and perhaps take a piece.
- Where else to go now but the Mage Tower so somebody can investigate this mysterious mirror piece you picked up. Recruit Finn.
- Now it seems there is combat in the Mage Tower from some earlier screens with the Phylacteries and all. Maybe we have to break Finn out of the tower?
- Of course, its also possible that you go to the Mage Tower and recuit Finn before going to the Dalish ruin, just so you have your mage in your party to fill things out.
- With your team assembled and Finn all knowledgable on Tevinter, you are lead to the Dragon Bone Wastes. From the codes above, that fits everything to a T, regarding Morrigan: You've got tons of dragon/Old God stuff, ancient Tevinter artifacts forged from powerful dragon bone, and even mention of the magisters hoping the dragon bone sarcophogi and phylacteries would make them immortal.
- So we get to the Dragon Bone Wastes, and maybe get glimpse of Morrigan early on, only to basically chase her through.
- Until we get to "confront" Morrigan at the mirror.
- The End!

Regarding the Mirror: Quotes from the Dalish Origin (in no particular order):
Duncan:
The Grey Wardens have seen artifacts like this mirror before; it is Tevinter in origin, used for communication. Over time some of them simply... break. They become filled with the same taint as the darkspawn. Tamlen's touch must have released it... It's what made you sick--and Tamlen, too, I presume.
Warden: Can we fix it?
Duncan: Unfortunately, no. It will taint all those who come near it, now. (VO note: grim, he doesn’t want to destroy the mirror but he knows he must)
Duncan: The darkspawn are drawn to the mirror. Do you want to lead them to your clan?
Duncan: With the mirror destroyed, I doubt the darkspawn will return.
Merrill: Can we return later and search through the ruins? We could learn from many things here besides the mirror.
Duncan: The cave is not safe-- everything here was exposed to the mirror's taint. If your people must come here, they should cleanse it with fire. (VO note: He doesn’t think it’s a good idea, but he’s not going to tell them what to do)
So- my guess is that Morrigan somehow, someway found her way to that particular Dalish/Tevinter ruin and picked up a piece of the mirror, which enabled her to find the other one in the Dragon Bone Wastes and maybe others.
But Duncan says the mirrors are communication devices. Communicate with who? THE OLD GODS. I'm just getting a very Lord of the RIngs Palantir vibe from the mirrors. My guess is that the Tevinter mages put them all around Thedas and were able to communicate with the Old Gods through them. Yet this particluar one was tied to Urthemiel, so when Urthemiel was tainted, so was the mirror. And since the mirror draws the darkspawn to it, it seems plausible that thats another reason why the Old Gods communicated through the mirrors.
But the whole mirror being tainted thing is worrisome for ol' Morri. I don't care for how she is rubbing her hand all over it and getting the creepy lightning only to sound and look all possessed in that last shot from the trailer.
And it would seem that the Dalish didn't torch the cave, like Duncan suggested if Morrigan did in fact get a sliver of the mirror from there.
Ok, I'm not done yet- haven't even gotten to Morrigan and the heavy speculation, but that will be for Volume 2!
