I only have the free DLC i got with my origins.. So not sure wether to get any of the others tbh, anyone able to varify if any are worth buying.

Personally, I found Warden's Keep to be good. Really enjoyed the story and the equipment you get (though its better to equip it on your party members since this DLC's items are incompatible with Awakening)

Feastday stuff was cool for me. Helped me with some approval point jams I had in the past, and the party member-specific items are cool/laugh riots. Plus putting the Chastity belt on Zevran was golden for me.

Soup **** says "NO SEX FOR YOU!"

I personally enjoy Awakening, despite all the things wrong with it. Good story anyhow.

Just saw the trailer... and only the VERY END of it had anything to do with Morrigan...

stupid teasers... well I honestly hope its awesome, too. I just bought some XBL points and am saving them for this.

I did the same thing - bought my BW points so I'm all set for Tuesday. Ready to wrap this up and start my considerations for whether I want Brett Hawke or Bastila Hawke to be my canon character for DA2.

to me its more like:

mess this dlc and Morri story and this was the final nail in the coffin for the DA franchise for me.

provide a slod and enjoyable and rewarding (!!!) experience and i might be able to warm up to DA 2; givin the next news are better than the last.

The closure they provide for Morrigan's story ( as well as any potential hints on her future involvement, the next big villain for DA 3 or potential love interest in DA 3 would be a huge NO as well) is a big make or break for the whole franchise to me.

Ok, I watched the trailer, and I still don't get evil/ diabolical vibes. More like regret, sadness, uncertainty. Although... I am wondering if we'll never actually get to see Morrigan again because she's gone into the mirror.

only to end with such bitter cold emptiness ^_^

But seriously, a Morrigan dlc where Morrigan escapes(is dragged into magical mirror and vanishes forever before you even get to see her and talk to her? Seriously wouldn't it be easier for BW to burn doewn their headquarter themselves instead of "inviting" their fans via dlc to do it for them? :P

Alright, really serious this time. I am sure will have the chance to talk to her. Not much probably, at least once. And letting her vanish through the mirror is something that i would consider na ykind of closure.

Anyway, i hope your right and i am wrong wrong. Regret and sadness do sound so mch better than diabolically evil.

Mike Laidlaw: "At this point all I can say is that I personally do not believe the Morrigan fans will be disappointed by what the future has in store."

Lets hope thats not wrong :P

Very much this.  That's where I am.  If WH has as s#i++y  an ending as DAO, there will be no DA2 in my future.
End of discussion.  This is their shot to make things right.  If they fail and leave another open ending without closure, or kick my Warden in the nads or turn Morrigan into a demon or some such nonsense, DA2 is definitely dead on arrival.  Hell, I hate the idea of Hawke and a different protagonist and new companions anyway, it won't take much to run me off (as if the DA Team lays awake at night wondering if I'm happy or not).Posted Image

I for one will not be purchasing WH until I hear from all of you and I know the ending.  I have the points loaded and ready to spend elsewhere if need be.  Been disappointed too many times with this crew.  Plenty of FO3 DLC to keep me busy in the meantime in the meantime.

Here's hoping for the best.Posted Image

I have my worries, concerns, and hopes, and expectations, but either way it's getting wrapped up. I'm looking forward to it one way or the other.

If it ends up being a slap in the face, kick in the crotch, or both, I can then contemplate burying the hatchet known as Origins and prep for DA2 with a clean slate (where I jostle with who I want my canon Hawke to be) or I contemplate going through one last run of Origins and choosing either the US or King of Ferelden ending.

Ah exactly what I wanted for them to keep the Servers on, best DLC to date 10/10!

You know what that means there was a discussion in which the idea of shutting the servers down once DA2 came out was seriously considered, ah BioWare I barely recognize you anymore. I do however recognize EA . . .

Yeah, the interview is from gamescom before they announced that Witch Hunt was it for the Warden and Origins, but the question the guy asks is whether they'll be supproting DAO simultaneously along with DA2.

Pretty much a non answer as Greg says they'll be keeping the online profile/DLC servers on as they hadn't thought about supporting DAO along with DA2- wow, thanks Greg. :pinched:

... and THESE people have Ph.Ds? What were their disserations on?

Also, can these interviewers PLEASE start asking hardball questions? FOLLOW UP on something they said? Call them out on when they dodge the question or ramble about something incoherent?

One thing I notice is that they keep talking about fan feedback and how important that is, then what about the backlash in the opening announcements of DA2?

Doesnt it require u to be logged in to play profiles with DLC in it, which is stored via server, No server = no game via dlc

Also makes you wonder why we couldn't have had more DLC like this- ones that actually advanced the plot in interesting ways and brought back old companions.  *sigh*

Totally agree- obviously Witch Hunt may still disappoint, but it would have been nice to see more DLC like this from the start- stuff that actually progressed the story forward and made use of old characters in meaningful ways.

Exactly what I was thinking as I heard all the palaver about fan feedback.  Not one word about the fairly noisy uproar concerning the direction of DA2.

Fan feedback + telemetry + director/developer intuition + what they "test" in DLC = plausible deniability to disappointed fans.  A lot of time filling corporate/political chatter instead of any real answers.

"A critical analysis of centrist, bland corporate public speaking and consumer relations"  or "how to say nothing and commit to even less in a 15 minute interview."
