Anyone with a character that slept with her at camp and then tossed Loghain at the archdemon or something? I can't be bothered to play the final battle just to get a save like that.

So what do are you guys planning on importing? Let's see what we have.
1. Dark Ritual + Romance
2. Dark Ritual(PC) - No Romance
2a. Loghain did the DR
2b. Alistair did the DR
3. Alistair sacrifice
4. Loghain sacrifice
5. Romanced but refused the DR (same as #3 or #4 but she may have a baby)
6. New Character(or the Orlesian)?
2 and 2a are my primary playthroughs. I'll be importing my 2a first.

If the outcomes are different I might try all of them but i'm missing #2 and #5.
I am importing only one character. My Canon.
Not going to do it with the others.

As for what I'll be importing, its pathetic- I've got 4 characters (working on #5 now) that have gone through Origins completely and 2 Awakening. All romanced Morrigan and did the DR. How creative is that, huh?
I'm just finishing my "canon" Cousland now in Origins and will try and get through Awakening this weekend I think. I'm curious if a Dalish that romanced Morrigan will get anything special in Witch Hunt. But I'll probably end up messing with the save games on my other characters just to see what Witch Hunt is like if you turn down the DR and all that. Then again, this all depends on how much of a role the DR even plays in Witch Hunt....
And I'm curious how it will handle those that had their US Wardens resurrected in Awakening- will Morrigan act as if you did the DR or simply that you had Loghain or Alistair die?
But I'll likely import my Romance Morrigan + DR Warden first and just look around here to see how different the other scenarios make the DLC or if its only a couple lines difference.

good question actually.
Warden: Hi there... Morrigan.
Morrigan: You? But..you're dead!
Warden: Nah, thought so myself. Killed the archdemon, fell dead, all black. And suddenly i was on the road to Amaranthine next to this girl called Mhairi and there were Darkspawn everywhere...

Considering that this is officialy the last content to be released for DA:O, what are the chances of having our other love interests mentioned in the epilogue if the Warden romanced Alistair, Leliana or Zevran instead of Morrigan?
Since this is supposed to be the end of the Warden's story I'm hoping we'll get a nice bunch of epilogue slides like we did in Origins and Awakening.

I hope at the very least we get a post-game save this time around.

Hmm, maybe. But if that will indeed be done throughout the Social board, we might not need a post save for that

Yep. It makes for a nice stopping point for that sort of thing.

Actually, it would be nice to have a final camp save after the epilogue like you had in Origins. Then, given Witch Hunt provides this options, you could always get back to camp after you sorted everything out and give her a kiss, just to feel better and knowing this time, its not happening before her leaving you.
*sigh* one can dream, right?

To be fair they can say those were the Awakening slides.

Just to go totally off topic for 1 postThe FF XIV Open beta has just started... For those FF fans out there. Ive gotten a few of my friends playing dragon age last few days, made em buy it etc, even got some to buy it for pc cuz there Xbox has red ring of death (seems to be happening alot lately) i have noticed, alot of my friends have this prob, anyway i hope the DLC isnt a let down, cuz i will feel like a [BAD WORD HERE!] if i get them to play and it sucks
If its the new 250GB box, I am seeing them break quite a bit in my personal experience. Don't know what the deal is. Supposedly the architecture is the same but with wi-fi. Anyway good luck on the DLC/friend front, because I've already been labelled a s#i+head
Might try FFXIII next. I've been toying with the idea. Is it worth it?

Well, that's the first hurdle we've safely cleared. I am very pleased that I don't have to go back and replay yet another ending, and can import directly from Awakenings. I really wanted all those talents and that level for WH. First good news I've heard.
You might have had to talk me off the ledge or coax me away from the car keys, guns and whiskey if our worst fears had materialized.

I'll be doing #4. My first (and canon) game was a romance with Alistair, but I spared Loghain for tactical reasons. By the time I realized it was Alistair or him, the game dialogue was too far gone to backpeddle so it was either crown Alistair or crown Anora. I gave the crown to Anora, wanting to talk to Alistair afterwards, but that didn't happen. That game royally sucked. I thought about it and even if I had killed Loghain at Landsmeet, I just couldn't justify the dark ritual so Alistair and my canon were doomed no matter what. I had a hard time believing that after making him sleep with Morrigan and fathering a child, that he wouldn't grow to resent his role (and my canon's) in the outcome. I am extremely interested in seeing if I turned down the dark ritual for nothing, if it was all BS and I should have just said yes and rode off into the sunset instead. =pblademaster7 wrote...

I figure I'd get the answer to #2b from the Alistair thread. I do have a Brosca that romanced Morrigan so if people are happy with the conclusion of their romance with Morrigan, I may take him for a spin and see how it plays out. If not, then I'll just wade through the spoilers with everyone else.

ML: Oh, no problem, no problem. I mean I’ve got some “Witch Hunt” to get back to here, just playing through some final builds, because I like to tease people with the fact that I can.
VW: Absolutely, absolutely. And in fact, just to heighten the tease, I think I’ll do that tomorrow too.
ML:
Good times, good times. Yes. I did make a promise that I think Morrigan fans would not be disappointed by what they would see coming, and from their reaction, it looks like they’re not. So I’m very jazzed; I’m really really glad we were able to do that. Dave really dove in and took up the Morrigan reins again, so I’m really looking forward to those reactions when it comes out.
VW: Hopefully this’ll be a really nice conclusion to the Warden’s storyline.
ML:
Yeah, I think people are going to walk away with this one with, well, potentially a big smile, but a lot of that’s going to depend on you and Morrigan and your relationship. So it’ll vary.
Dare I say hope? I'm relucatant to hope for that elusive happy ending lest a giant rock crush everything....

The handsome fellow on your left is going into the dlc first. He romanced Morrigan for half the game, they became BFFs and the DR happened. My second warden romanced her all the way through, didn't do the DR and is now back from the dead to meet Morrigan lol. My dalish elf will have an interesting experience, aside from the dlc corresponding with her origin a bit, she hated Morrigan and made Alistair (who she was romancing) do the DR. That'll be interesting.
So none of your PCs romanced Morrigan all the way to completion with the DR?
And it seems they finally have the trailer for Witch Hunt up on the Witch Hunt page, with a 720p download option, FWIW.

I'm on that playthrough right now actually, my dwarf's trudging along. I'd get it done faster, but all this DA2 stuff has really turned me off anything Bioware related lately. Even KOTOR (best game EVAR). Plus I have my DA fanfic that I'm working on to keep me occupied and since Halo: Reach is coming out soon, I've been playing 3 like mad, have to be in tip top shape when all of my friends come over. I'm the undisputed king pretty muchBrockololly wrote...
