Maybe. IMO it's more their way of giving us a "off into the sunset" type of deal. The DLC didn't really advance the story, and obviously the focus is shifting soon so I doubt there will be much reference to our decision here.Dave of Canada wrote...

I thought the writers had made it fairly clear that this was meant to be the end of the Warden's story. In the end, you couldn't really make any game changing decisions (god baby and Morrigan both survive) so I wouldn't expect much more.
Going into the mirror has some implications, though.

Just redid Witch Hunt, this time using the Origins Epilogue save as opposed to my unfinished Awakening save. The DR was recognized. So basically, I'm guessing if you haven't completed whatever module you are on when you import a character, it doesn't work. No idea for certain though.
i used the final Origins save ready for Awakening, everything done, so no, thats not it either
It worked fine. Used a GoA import with Awakeing, and had the Morrigan Restoration Mod and Qwinn´s fixpack active.

I talked to Morrigan in Denerim before the AD fight and it turned off the romance, but I had no problems in the DLC.Siven80 wrote...

Edit: Gonna run through it one more time. I want to see how she reacts to a warden that's never met her before (orlesian).

Actually I think that the ending leaves the door more open for future involvement of the warden than it did after Awakenings. After all its been suggested that Morrigan will continue to play an important role in the DA series.

It was a good DLC. No Gaidering I guess. SOrely lacking in answers, and of course whats a MOrrigan story without a bugged romance.
FFS BioWare.... Basically, as soon as Morrigan started saying how I denied her the Ritual I facepalmed. Really!?
BTW, I imported my Origins only Warden who romanced her, spoke with her post gates and was using Terra's Mod. Imported from the post epilogue save in Origins.
Seriously, what better way to just take all the wind out of the sails of this ending than to have bugs....

They keep saying that Morrigan's story isn't over with Witch Hunt though, if my Warden isn't chillaxing with her then there's not really a point for the whole mirror choice. I think it'll have some sort of impact on the future (as will Morrigan's gift for those who stayed out).

Perhaps, but I still would not underestimate the potential ramifications of either letting M go, or going with her; one can assume that in the former scenario, the Warden exists by him/herself for the remainder of their time in Ferelden, possibly meeting either the child or Morrigan again, being how coincidental stories are, and likely at odds to the child's destiny (if you've completed the ritual).
In the latter scenario, however, the Warden has the option to directly impact Morrigan's and the Child's attitude, or vice versa; it could also be assumed that since the Warden is so keen to stay with M (and the kid), he/she will stay with her/them for the remainder of the DA plot.

When I did it again, this time importing my final Origins Epilogue save rather then using the one from an unfinished Awakening game, it worked just fine.

Funny, isn't it. BW could have the whole bunch of Morri fans praising them for their awesome dlc, if not... if they, just once in the history of DA franchise, delivered a game or content not had at least one major bug
I do wonder why they even spent time and money on QA though? C'mon, thats a serious bug, and its not that rare obviously that you could miss it. How come no one noticed that? Did they press esc during all conversations?

This is just fraking annoying. None of the questions were answered and now there are even more questions
I mean no disrespect, but statements like these are irritating to me personally; I assume the big questions are what's up with Morrigan/Flemeth arc and the Dark Ritual? If so, you realize that Flemeth could be a lesser diety of some sort, whose backstory can, in itself, take up an entire game to develop properly, and as far as the Dark Ritual's concerned, there's a child who's born to a powerful sorceress, who herself is daughter to this diety like creature, the former preparing the child for some kind of big 'destiny', not to mention the child having the soul of an 'old god' thousands of years old; this is practically a goldmine of plotpoints and twists that the DLC team would've defecated on had they fully explained the undeveloped and emotionally irrelevant concept, climax and all, in 2 or so hours.

No idea. Still trying ot figue that out since the credits roll just as my Dalish Warden picks up the book and Dog starts digging for something.

WH - Ending for me
/facepalm
You know while not answering many questions, that ending is leagues above what I got. Instead of having a loving Morrigan, the version I saw was a hostile **** who thought I denied her the ritual and had someone else do it, yet still romanced her. Talk about schizophrenic....
Seriously BioWare, I really loved this DLC but again, the bugs and the abrupt ending kill it.
