Finn is the man.

and what do i hear about a bull ending ?
Use reason, stop feeding your negative bias, it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy; I both romanced and completed the DR, and had no problem with the ending. I'm sure there are many more who are happy and content, who don't have a burning desire to tell the world of how the DLC worked as expected.

Bioware moved the bug thread to the PC tech forum. Now we know it will not get fixed.
From what I am understanding, console players have had issues too.Nerevar-as wrote...

Is it also a console bug?
I liked the elf much more than Velanna. Had great chemistry with Finn, but she really got to me when she asked the Warden about the ring. Had a sense of humor too, I was missing a female companion with that.

I did think that Finn's archetype is underused in RPG's today, I could instantly personify an acquaintance of mine on his character; beyond that, the voice actor had charm, as did the slightly exaggerated features. The elf was a bit typical, however, 'Velanna light', or what have you.

Sad thing is that we dont ever get to see these new companions again.
Is it to much to ask for a party that isint a revolving door of people really?
It worked fine for me. But then I also had that Morrigan romance restoration mod (added a few things and made it so when you talked to her at the battle of denerim it didn't put her on 'friendship' after the talk was over).KendallX23 wrote...

If only that was the problem. People that have used the resto-mod have had the bug occur too.Urazz wrote...

If you can't get this mod, just don't talk to Morrigan at the battle of Denerim and you will still be in a romance with her.

She really wasn't. Hell she's probably the only DA Elf who hasn't had a massive chip on her shoulder.

After three runs through, I will say this DLC is a disappointment. The only closure is for games that romanced Morrigan or for those who want revenge and the option to kill her. I bought this DLC specifically to find out why she wanted the dark ritual, but that didn't get answered. At best, it was a super-long commercial for "what is to come" in DA2.

The tagline was: MORRIGAN'S SECRETS REVEALED. It didn't reveal ANYTHING, but rather gave even more questions.
I can sympathize, but any marketing slogan should be taken with a bag of salt.

SPOILER MADNESS
Was there any information really needed anymore? She's scared of Flemeth , the world's going to change,The kid might will be the primary reason of that change and the mirror thing what was she needed (thus looking for it during 1 years)
She basicly asked you to hunt Flemeth . So Flemeth might indeed have a very bad and dangerous plan . That ppl fight for their belief no matter what.

It's a very dramatic scene where the warden murder-knifes her in the stomach and she leans forward like "oof." The camera zooms in on her face and in slow-motion she collapses backwards into the mirror and disappears. Soooo ... there's no proof she's really dead. She could recover on the other side of the mirror. There's no way to record the warden's end-decision to import into DA2 so my guess is that either Morrigan will have no role in DA2 or she will miracously recover if there is a planned reappearance for her in DA2.Brockololly wrote...

Can you kill her? Or does she just step into the mirror?
eqzitara wrote...
Can you actually kill her? All she has to do is take a step.
you stab her and she falls into mirror, doubtful she dies since the ending probably bridges a bit to DA:2. Morrigan prob. does something from that world to counter Flemeth in some fashion.
