" Do you ever wish you had the freedom to ****** anywhere and not have people stare at you?"

or

"Dog, what do you call that which covers a tree?"

Finn is the man.

Bioware moved the bug thread to the PC tech forum. Now we know it will not get fixed.

Use reason, stop feeding your negative bias, it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy; I both romanced and completed the DR, and had no problem with the ending. I'm sure there are many more who are happy and content, who don't have a burning desire to tell the world of how the DLC worked as expected.

sorry...i am more into Shinto...:D.....too many people have the bug to be a coincidence...don't want to buy something i am not sure will work properly

Sad thing is that we dont ever get to see these new companions again.

Is it to much to ask for a party that isint a revolving door of people really?

I did think that Finn's archetype is underused in RPG's today, I could instantly personify an acquaintance of mine on his character; beyond that, the voice actor had charm, as did the slightly exaggerated features. The elf was a bit typical, however, 'Velanna light', or what have you (or so I thought).

Nobody's blaming you, no worries; it's true that there are plenty of people with bugged versions, but I think that we can safely assume that BW will be on top of this very soon, this is a 'canon'-critical DLC, the ending of which doesn't function in a number of cases. I can suggest waiting until the next patch.

Is it also a console bug?

I liked the elf much more than Velanna. Had great chemistry with Finn, but she really got to me when she asked the Warden about the ring. Had a sense of humor too, I was missing a female companion with that.

From what I am understanding, console players have had issues too.

She really wasn't. Hell she's probably the only DA Elf who hasn't had a massive chip on her shoulder.

The surviving companions from Leliana´s Song and this 2 (and Dog?). And most from Origins and Awakening. While Gaider and company have talnt to create great characters, they are leaving so much of their potential untapped.

It worked fine for me.  But then I also had that Morrigan romance restoration mod (added a few things and made it so when you talked to her at the battle of denerim it didn't put her on 'friendship' after the talk was over).

If you can't get this mod, just don't talk to Morrigan at the battle of Denerim and you will still be in a romance with her.

Just finished an orlesian warden game. It's easily the worst of the bunch.

***** SPOILERS *******

The orlesian starts the game with investigating Morrigan's role in the death of the archdemon. When the orlesian finds her, Morrigan says, "You, I do not know." And then she asks the warden why the warden is there. Same responses as others (need answers, here to kill you, I was sent to find you). Morrigan then offers advice about Flemeth being the real threat and tells the orelsian to go tell the other wardens to keep watch for what is to come. The dark ritual is not mentioned. There is no indication of whether there is a god baby or not in this game. Morrigan then asks if the orlesian will let her go or kill her. What is the orlesian supposed to do? Neither of those are good options. Morrigan still answers nothing so letting her go is pointless and there's also no reason to kill Morrigan.

***** END SPOILERS *******

After three runs through, I will say this DLC is a disappointment. The only closure is for games that romanced Morrigan or for those who want revenge and the option to kill her. I bought this DLC specifically to find out why she wanted the dark ritual, but that didn't get answered. At best, it was a super-long commercial for "what is to come" in DA2.

If only that was the problem.  People that have used the resto-mod have had the bug occur too.

She was quick to jump to conclusions during the beginning of the tower of magi sequence, not that the templar didn't have it coming, but she seemed to be a bit more assertive and forward than another person might've been. In the same segment, her almost instantaneous judgement of a relatively sophisticated organization such as the tower of magi can be interpreted as a sign of dismissive disrespect.

it is bugged for people who never talked to her after the goodbye talk at the gates...so they never got the ring ending but the dlc is still bugged

you stab her and she falls into mirror, doubtful she dies since the ending probably bridges a bit to DA:2. Morrigan prob. does something from that world to counter Flemeth in some fashion.

Can you kill her? Or does she just step into the mirror?

I enjoyed it as a Morrigan romancing Warden fan, but yes, the whole point of it was that it supposedly revealed Morrigan's fate or answered all of our questions about her secrets. It does absolutely none of that. It simply heaps more questions on. And from what we've heard of DA2, Morri won't be in it as we'll likley learn more about Flemeth's role in the world.

So this isn't even a setup for DA2, but probably DA3 when Morri and the OGB come back from Mirror World to "change" Thedas and stop whatever Flemeth has brewing.

The tagline was: MORRIGAN'S SECRETS REVEALED. It didn't reveal ANYTHING, but rather gave even more questions.

I can sympathize, but any marketing slogan should be taken with a bag of salt.

SPOILER MADNESS

Was there any information really needed anymore? She's scared of Flemeth , the world's going to change,The kid might will be the primary reason of that change and the mirror thing what was she needed (thus looking for it during 1 years)

She basicly asked you to hunt Flemeth . So Flemeth might indeed have a very bad and dangerous plan . That ppl fight for their belief no matter what.

Well, was any information needed? I think so, if the existence of a pride demon can have massive reprecussions in the power dynamic of Ferelden(edit: Thaedas; that's how you spell it, correct?), then what kind of mischief or good can a person with the power of an old god can be up to? If you want my opinion, however, the aforementioned character arc is far too big to attempt to complete in an DLC, I don't quite understand where you're coming from, but hopefully we can agree that such plots are best developed in fully fledged sequels.

I had a nice ending as I romanced Morrigan and never had any bug. I went through the mirror with her.

It's probably the first time I'm fully satisfied with dlc. It didn't answer anything, but gave my warden a happy and proper "ending". Most of the questions unanswered were too big for a dlc as David Gaider said Morrigan is an important part of the story.

I hope to see them both again in a big story, because I miss them already :(

It's a very dramatic scene where the warden murder-knifes her in the stomach and she leans forward like "oof." The camera zooms in on her face and in slow-motion she collapses backwards into the mirror and disappears. Soooo ... there's no proof she's really dead. She could recover on the other side of the mirror. There's no way to record the warden's end-decision to import into DA2 so my guess is that either Morrigan will have no role in DA2 or she will miracously recover if there is a planned reappearance for her in DA2.

No body no death. But really not having a post DLC save is wasting a big opportunity. Having her mention her friend/lover tried to kill her, and what that would mean.

BW should stop taking the middle groung with the continuity issue. Have a default for new players but have actually significant decisions affecting the story for sequels instead of the cop out from ME2 or probably this with Morrigan. This is closer to "previous game didn´t matter that much" than  "stand alone" parts of a series.

Does the dialog or story change if Flemeth is left alive?
