So I'm not crazy, this is a real bug? Because it happened to me too, it would be "my child", then she would go on about how I abandoned her and denied her.

Sure it was in large a large "plug DA2" operation, but at least she aknowledged everythng correctly, from the ring to the "love is not a weakness" conversation and in the end i could choose to go with her through the mirror. Truly epic win in my book. And the ogb is a he btw. Sure there were not many answers given and more raised, but to me an ending of the warden charging into a new adventure (that may or may not come ofc) with morrigan was really all I wanted from the dlc, got it and am now sitting here at 2:38 in the morning with a goofy grin on my face

You're lucky. I enjoyed it, but the lack of answers, the lack of any confidence whether we'll see the Warden again and the bugged ending really make what would have been a great DLC into one which is sort of meh at the moment.

I mean come on, the whole point of the DLC, all the marketing, is in the conversation with Morrigan. And going by the forums, its bugged for MANY people across all platforms.

If you ask her what she plans for the soul and stuff, what does she say? She refuses to tell me because she says "IT DOESN'T MATTER, YOU BETRAYED ME."

No you're not crazy at all. A TON of people seemed to have encountered this bug where morrigan repeadetly states you denied her at redcliffe and didn't do the ritual when you did in fact do the ritual. Its probably something to do with the whole friendship/romance bull**** that happens when you talk to her after the gates of denerim battle and the whole golden mirror spiel. Honestly, I'm so confused with this, its making me doubt which save is going to be my canon save for DA2 and possible DA3 I don't want some bugged save thats got all the wrong info shaping DA2

Something's wrong, she kept saying I deined her the ritual when I didn't! I imported from Awakening. Should I try to import it again from Origins?

The thing thats really pissing people off is that they spent A LOT of time trying to get both epilogues, the ring epilogue at the end of origins and the dark haired sorceress epilogue at the end of awakening. I personally dedicated an entire playthrough to get both epilogues. Other than the blatant bug i thought the dlc was really good, i loved the writing but that scene at the end killed everything

I thought this was a great DLC could of been awesomesauce though if that nasty bug had been eliminated. I actually feel bad for die hard Zevran, Alistair, and even Leliana fans that they aren't getting a DLC like this.



Saving Zevran from the Crows and riding off in the sunset or taking over the Crows? I would of paid 7$ for that, and I only have one or two characters that have romanced him.

Leliana and the Warden going on an expedition either to the deep roads or doing something for the urn.

Alistair and the Warden maybe going on their last adventure or mission for the Grey Wardens together before they ride off into the sunset or return to rule their kingdom.



As for answers yeah we didn't really learn much other than Flemeth seems to be a lot more powerful than Morrigan anticipated and a lot more dangerous as well. Which was kind of meh to me, but I got some romantic closure, so it didn't bug me that bad, and for the people without romantic interest in Morrigan; I could see them being quite upset since they didn't really get anything out of this DLC. I was also upset that the sweet 2h Axe didn't come over. My 2h dwarf would of loved to had an Axe that didn't suck.



This is bittersweet ending to Origins because this DLC and Leliana's Song make you wonder what could of been with Origins if they had another year or so to work with like they had planned.

Ok for the people who did do the DR. What did Morrigan say? Did she say anything about it? Was it a wholly different experience?
And we had no answers whatsoever.
And the DLC provided the hardest decision I've ever experienced. Should I abandon my responsability as King Consort and leave all the power that I acquired at the expense of possibyly never seeing my love again? Aaargh!!! I don't know what to pick!! I'll delve on it more once the bug is fixed, which I demand it be done.

About the ritual
Morrigan: The Ritual was a means to an end a hearld for what is to come.

Not really much information.  I'm hoping DA:3 we get some Origins back, and if we did the DR one of the Origins is a young man highely attuned for magic . I hope he doesn't turn into an NPC.

Some of my friends on FB are talking about this.

I have heard that leaving Morrigan at the gates are doing the DR is the only guaruanteed way to avoid the bug.

Well she said that too evben when I supposedely denied her the DR.
 
Yea the kid might possibly fight Flemeth in the future.
Is Hawke Flemeth's pawn I wonder?

Because it's clear that the main antagonist for the franchise is Flemeth, whatever she is.

For me, she kept mentioning that i denied her at redcliffe but lived after killing the archdemon anyway and that I had a child with her but it was not the OGB. An of course i did the DR

#Facepalm# This bug is too much having OGB or not is a whole different story and we need to import this save to DA2 or whatever.

Seriously how can they let this passed QA testing?

Yeah, I imported my guy who only went through Origins and got the messed up ending. I'm going again through it with my Awakening Cousland to see if its still borked.

It is interesting though- if we go through the mirror, Morrigan makes it seem that may not be wise. I get the feeling should Morrigan return from the Mirror World again, BioWare has the convenient excuse of just never explaining what happened to the Warden that went with her. Which would be all sorts of lame.

The youtube link to the proper scene was posted a couple pages back- and yes, it plays out vastly different and far better than her being all hostile claiming you denied her.

That would absolutely suck if that is what is causing the bug.  I do not want to have to redo the end of Origins and redo Awakening.  Bioware better fix the bug.

It concerns me that teh whole import feature is supposed to be one of DA's big features and they royally screw it up in one of the most important scenes in the franchise thus far. They seriously need to fix the import system up for their future games. I'd hate to play through DA2 only to get to the end seing some borked decision.

They might as well just let you set which flags you want when you start a DA2 playthrough.  Only guarenteed way Bioware will not screw it up.

This DLC kinda bugged me (pun intended), as I too got the "You betrayed me even though you didn't really betray me" bug. I was really hoping for some closure on the whole Morrigan situation, instead I got her yelling at me for stuff i didn't even do. =/



I loaded it with my awakening character, so maybe i'll try again using my origins character, see if i still have the same problems.

Anyways I was interested when Morrigan spoke of Flemeth! Now we know Flemeth is an alien
