Can these bugs ever be fixed on consoles? Having Soldiier's Peek still screws up vigilance and sentinel armor in Awakening. Sigh

Interestingly, the Sentinel armor and Vigilance appeared just fine in my WH DLC.  Vigilance was bugged all throughout awakening IIRC.

Weird. And annoying.

Bioware, seriously? I mean seriously?
It's a love-hate thing I have for Bioware right now.

I really am just about done with BW. I import an Awakening save where I performed the DR, and Morrigan acts like I denied her and let Loghain or Alistair take the killing blow.

Its just fu**ing ridiculous.

Amen to that. It doesn't make any ****ing sense at all.

I know. I don't know what's worse at this point. What happened... or me expecting that it might actually work the way it supposed to.

It's unfortunate they seemingly rushed this DLC out the door.  Obviously they didn't bug test it thoroughly enough.  An extra few weeks in development could've made this much smoother.

I've run into a new bug where after BEATING the DLC I can't replay it because it's now "unauthorized" on my account. *sigh*

Hopefully that's just the result of the servers being overwhelmed. Same thing happen to me with all my DLC after the last patch but it corrected itseilf after a few hours

*sigh* Just went through again hoping my Awakening Warden wouldn't meet up with the wrong Morrigan- to no avail.

This totally sucks.

Has someone tried importing an Origin Warden that was still on love after the battle of Denerim?

So has this worked at all for people who've used the restoration mod?

I used the resto mod for my non-canon run (romance+DR+ring) and it worked fine with me.

You got that right. I've gone through it twice with a GoA save and an awakening (dark haired sorceress epilogue) save and got the same hostile "You betrayed me!" conversation. Its just awful, I don't feel like going back through my old saves and changing dialogue choices and possibly replaying awakening again... its just too much. This bug isn't just a minor quibble its a HUGE issue, it basically forces you to renege on the most important decision in the game. Plus it makes no sense that this should even happen considering if you denied morrigan in origins, you DIED.

That was my 1st run- I still spoke with her, but I imported the post-epilogue save where she was clearly still in romance active mode.

My 2nd run with my Awakening guy was also bugged.

Going to give it one last go with my Amell for tonight.

Seriously, the DLC isn't too bad but having the core feature of the game broken is so incredibly bad. I 'd be embarrassed for BioWare but seeing as they're raking in the money on a broken product, I can't feel too bad for them...<_<

Edit: And this is why a toolset is nice- except I'm pretty sure we can't look at any of the DLC in the toolset, so hell, who knows what else is bugged or missing and we don't even realize it?

I installed Terrra_x's mod, but only after the point I had saved my WH import...

But I have always gotten the Origins "Sorrow and Regret" and the Awakening "...search for the Dark-Haired sorceress..." epilogues.

edit:  Still got the ole BW screw-job

We were still in love after the battle on my origins char. I imported to awakening though. I still have problems with morrigan's memory though.

It makes sense though, since Vigilance isn't stolen until the Epilogue and there is no post-Epilogue save.

Also I was glad to see it, as I forgot I gave Justice Kellak when I got Vigilance, and I didn't take him with me to Amaranthine.

IT's weird because if you have the Soldier's peak DLC, vigilance looks like starfang in Awakening when it shouldn't, it has its unique model.
But if imported to Witch Hunt, takes back its original unique model even when Soldier's peak is installed.

I imported my warden from origins and Witch Hunt worked for me. Morrigan remembered the DR and everything. I just bought Awakening and plan to play through Origins and Awakening, and then WH after that. Hopefully it will still work after playing Origins and Awakening =)

Did you import from the save after the final battle? Was Morrigan still on love (talking to her at the battle reverted her to friend status for some odd stupid reason)?

Ok for the people who did do the DR. What did Morrigan say? Did she say anything about it? Was it a wholly different experience?
And we had no answers whatsoever.
And the DLC provided the hardest decision I've ever experienced. Should I abandon my responsability as King Consort and leave all the power that I acquired at the expense of possibyly never seeing my love again? Aaargh!!! I don't know what to pick!! I'll delve on it more once the bug is fixed, which I demand it be done.

Easy
The love of my Warden..
Sitting on a throne and sending troop for the remaining 30 years of my lfie .. Boring crap.

Yes. Morrigan was still in love with my character after speaking to her about the DR at the seige of Denerim. I got the "regret and sorrow" ending as well. Even gave her the mirror as soon as I bought, I didnt wait to give it to her at Denerim. It may be because of a mod I downloaded that apparently fixes that problem.

I got the bugged ending. It was really weird and disturbing, since Morrigan and my PC parted as good friends. I imported from DA:O epilogue save, not Awakening.

It sure doesn't seem like it is because of anything specific. There are a lot of people with the same situation as me except their version is bugged

Uh, ok.... I can see I'm not alone in having Morrigan tell you "you denied me the ritual." I sent you my boyfriend, dammit!! Hehe.

Also, I think my end was bugged in another way. You were supposed to get an item? It just froze and I thought the game froze, then it cut to the main menu with the achievement unlocked.

I don't think that's a bug.
But come to think of it, I really hope that it is.

This does make me ponder though. If the Warden is set to return in DA3 or have a significant (or minor) role in the future of the franchise, then perhaps those who did not follow Morrigan can still somehow find her by taking this item that Morrigan thinks we will find interesting.

I should just say quickly that other than this glitch- a rather big one, 'tis true- I thought it an excellent DLC and really what I wish all the DLC had been like.

SO my question is, is it just married Couslands who are getting the bug? I asked in another thread, but I decided to ask here. I wonder if there is different dialog that is supposed to happen if you're married (male or female).

Edit: It's just, after bug fixing, that IS the type of data entry error that is rampant in DA:O.  My elf had no issue.  I don't really care enough to run it through with a queen Cousland.

I don't think you do, which is weird.

I agree that other than the major bug, I was actually having fun throughout the DLC and was really liking it.

My favorite moment was when Morrigan was playfully welcoming the dog. I was smiling like an idiot and foolishly held my heart and said "this is it". Then I got slapped in the face.

Overall I have to say that as far as closure goes, this met my primary expectations, and I'm overall happy. I got the DR bug as well, but after seeing the proper ending on youtube for Ritual+romance, I can say that had my ending not been bugged, it would have been perfect.

As far as answers Morrigan gives about her intentions (which I had to look up on youtube), I think she reveals JUST enough without giving everything away, and in that, helps create interest for the franchise. I mean, she did reveal two major things, at least from what I surmised (though I'm not sure how right I am in my interpretation): 1] Flemeth is the real enemy of the Dragon Age, 2] The OGB (if conceived) is being prepared to possibly combat Flemeth's influence (giving credence to ximena's theory that the OGB will be a future party member)

As far as revelations go, that is enough for me for now, and going with her into the mirror is quite a romantic and happy conclusion to the romance subplot.
