Yeah, I had the blocky fog in Cadash Taig. Had my usual run of crashes that I've had since Awakening and1.03, but overall it ran pretty well.

No crashes for me.

I almost get the feeling Morrigan is srot of doing this against her will or that she personally would rather not do all this Old God plan stuff. There is one line towards the end where you can ask her something along the lines of what she wants- whether she wants to be free? And her response is : 

What I want... is unimportant now...

Its like she is compelled to do this stuff even if she really doesn't want to. Poor Morrigan:(

I think she feels compelled because a) she obviously considers Flemeth a major nemesis and it's up to her to stop her, and she's probably the only one who can do it.  Other than the Warden, who craps miracles...

I'd think a dialogue/plot flag but a lot easier to fix than the Silverite Mines bug. At least there is a workaround for that, though.

Dear god, any Warden that actually chooses to do that deserves to be burned alive! Seriously, is there any logical reason (emphasis on logical) to kill her? Okay, obviously she ain't dying but that's clearly what a Warden who chooses that option wants.

Why try to kill her? If you did the DR it was by mutual consent. If you didn't, she has no OGB so I can't see why you would consider her a major threat. The only reason why a Warden would attempt to kill her is because they hated her in Origins for being a "b!tch". Sorry, but attempting to kill her just for that is worse than anything Morrigan does in Origins.

As for Witch Hunt, I should really thank the gaming gods that when it comes to major bugs that everyone gets, I always end up avoiding them. Female mage who romanced Leliana and did the DR. No bugs and got the ending I wanted. Well, aside from the lack of answers of course. However this DLC has made me even more confident that the DR is a good idea.

I just wish I could've helped Morrigan. I really am scared for her now. She seems to be trapped in this against her will and god knows I wanted to help her.

EDIT: Because I just can't get enough of Morrigan happily greeting Dog! I always knew Morrigan loved the dog. It was obvious from her banters with him that, just like with anything else, she was trying to suppress her feelings. Still, watching that scene made the whole DLC worth it for me. Of course, since I didn't get the bug I wasn't slapped in the face right after it... seriously, sorry to everyone who has gotten the bug!

I saw it and it's.... awful! Well, the scene is really well done but it's just awful to watch that. It's just so uncalled for, there's simply no logical reason to do it other than, "I hate Morrigan!".

That is really awful! I could never do that.

So far I've only played WH with a warden who turned down the ritual. Morrigan still called her "friend" when they parted. It was quite touching.

No one knows. It's a bug that has been discussed for the last 10 pages or so. There's no consistency between who got it and who didn't. I didn't get the bug with a female mage that romanced Leliana.

Some people have mentioned that your best bet is to import an Origins save where you didn't talk to Morrigan after the Dark Ritual, so that she's at "Love".

That... is way beyond awful.

I can understand not liking Morrigan, but you had a chance to refuse the DR and still survive. No matter how much somebody may hate her there is no reason to try and kill her now, especially since she NEVER did anything to the Warden, regardless of their relationship.

Anyone who would actually go ahead and choose the "kill her" option is a truly sad and hateful person.

No even on YT. Some things I just don´t do.

I wonder is a bug was the actual reason the Gamespot review said Warden couldn´t follow Morrigan.

Time to create another Cousland, and a small reason to play as a Dalish at last.

AKA the one where you speak to her during the final battle. In the first conversation with your dog you a dialogue is available if the DR is recognized... It's quite easy to test early.... but it's still bugged sigh

I did. City Elf, talked to her after Denerim gates but that Mod fixes it so I didn't have to use the Golden Mirror trick. Got the "regret" epilogue in Origins and the "dark-haired sorceress" epilogue in Awakening.

Man...I heard people's descriptions about the "murder knife" ending, but I didn't realize.... Wow. That is just not acceptable. I already decided I was never going to try out the ending for myself, but now I don't even want to see it on YouTube again. That was just...poor Morrigan.

It´s not BW if you don´t have a chance to be an evil bastard. This is not even forcing the issue if you play as a self centered jerkass. Killing Mission on Kotor was probably worse. Just the description of the scene is wrenching.

Worried about DA2 now. They want it out in March, yet they are showing time and again that bug control is not the team´s strong point, nor fixing them afterwards. Can´t wait to see the import choices ones. Remember how they put Conrad as an example in ME2 and the flag was bugged?

In my playthrough the romance was acknowledged but I got a bug where my character refused the DR when he didn't. She has a non-OGB child with my Warden and it's a son... :/

Is this what everyone gets?

I'm rushing a 2nd playthrough to see the DR dialogue now

Yeah, like I was saying upthread, I don't get why that's even an option.  It doesn't make sense, and seems particularly cruel.  The look she gives the Warden is just... ughh...  I'm surprised KoP could handle going through with it!

I just did some testing and it seems that my Origins post-epilogue save and every save before that is not bugged. A post post-epilogue save where I was at camp is bugged. Maybe loading up the post-epilogue save somehow causes it?

And to think that all this could have been avoided if I'd imported my post-epilogue save into Awakening. Sigh...
