Hee hee. My Warden (pictured in my avatar) gutted her like that. Conversation ended like this:

Morrigan: "There is one more thing I will tell you, if you let me. Your son still lives."
Kane: <stabbity-stab-stab>

I'm the King-Consort. Morrigan knows what skeletons are in my closet, and is raising a kid with a possible claim to my throne. She's a liability, and thus she had to die, just like Connor, Alistair, and Loghain.

Yes, my Warden is a sociopathic megalomaniac. Otherwise known as a human noble.

Anyone know if you have to leave morrigan at the gates of denerim to get both the ring epilogue and the dark haired sorceress epilogue? I never tried that before, I always took her to the battle against the archdemon. Maybe that could be a reason why she denies the DR at the end of witch hunt even if you did it.

Well after finally playing both DLCs (Shadow Broker and Witch Hunt) I feel good but conflicted, Witch Hunt could have been a full expansion pack but I suppose it worked out really well dispite all that. However after playing Witch Hunt, which is The Warden's last hurrah before Hawke takes over the universe and then playing Lair of the Shadow Broker I felt really depressed thinking back on Witch Hunt.

Part of what made the ME2 DLC so amazing and satisfying was continuity and character development, it was great to see an established character grow and change over the course of two games and a DLC pack. It's sad that I'm not going to have that feeling in Dragon Age ever because they want to do the revolving door of heros, particularily since that kind of stuff is just so bloody good. So I've played a good piece of DLC for Dragon Age and now I'm super bummed out about the entire series because all I can think about is how much better it could have been.

So in conclusion God damnit Hawke . . .

I just went and tested 3 different saves of my Male Cousland Rogue (GoA, Awakening, Origins - Epilogue)... All 3 were bugged.

This may sound mean, but someone, whose job is to check this stuff and make sure it works, better have gotten fired.

I don't think thats mean. C'mon, that dlc is just about one hour on length. Its not like it too big to check everything for possible bugs.

Moreoever, Morrigan proposing the DR and then leaving is the sole reason this dlc exits at all. Its all about the question of the DR, the single and most important question for this dlc.
And now just this question is heavily bugged.

I can ignore i have to rename dog, i can ignore the game does not recognize i have been Cadash Thaig before, but the reason to play this dlc is to know what this DR ritual is all about and what happened to my child.
And the game does not recognize i even did this and had this child, while Morrigan refused to tell me anything cause i didn't participate in her ritual?
What the hell are they doing at BW QA? There's just NO EXCUSE a major bug like this can pass unnoticed.

According to Wachter, the dlc team is looking into it http://social.biowar...ex/4715495&lf=8

Don't know if that means they're gonna fix it though

All DLCs are content locked we can't get much of anything from them, so no we can't fix it they won't let us.

Okay so it definitely works if you do it directly from a post campaign save whichever. Now I'm curious if use that save to go into Awakening, then Golem's if it'll still be bugged.

Nah, it will be like the Silverite mine bug... Sorry folks, we know there is bug, but we're unable to fix it.

They should rethink their strategy of advertizing we could import our Origins decisions into DA 2. If they're not even able to handle continuity of one single decision into a one hour dlc, i do wonder how messed up my Origins decisions in DA 2 might end up

To Bioware, saying they can not fix it, is a fix.

As in, "It is 'fixed', we do not have to bother with it anymore."

i agree, i am EXTREMELY worried about the import aspect of DA.
i'm beginning to wish it wasn't even an option because it seems like its just gona be loads of people with f***ed imports with choices they never made.Posted Image

To be fair, the only bugs regarding importation have been "romancing Morrigan" related.

As the dlc is all about Morrigan and the things you did with or didn't do with her, thats an awful alot for such a small content. And the bug also happens if you didn't romance her but let someone else do the DR

Wow. So it's not related to the romance flags. Who the hell is doing beta testing on these things? They should hire Terra_ex or something and let him fix it in five minutes.

PS: Any mention of Alistair/Loghain?

Maybe it might have been useful to have the Romances working properly before releasing Origins then. Seriously all of them are screwed up/bugged/or missing parts of them. I mean hell Leliana's romance is drastically different if you hardened her.

i think to be honest, bioware are really punishing players who didn't do the dark ritual. that is how i feel anyway. after playing awakenings and witch hunt i feel like i should have done the dark ritual so i think bioware are trying to force that route on the players? who else thinks that way?

I was lucky enough to get through this without any bugs whatsoever (DR, married, post-campaign Cousland who had been through Awakening and Amgarrak). I'm gutted for those of you who didn't get the "true" experience. :( (Though, dammit, I didn't have the Ring on me by this point! Dammit!)

While I'd have preferred this to have been an expansion, considering it was just a DLC, it did a really good job of making itself feel more expansive -- and got me pretty pumped up for Dragon Age 2. ^_^ I was also pleased to learn that the OGB was a little boy. I've got nothing against girls, but Urthemiel is a male deity. :P

Though what the hell is up with that gift Morrigan leaves behind? Something of interest? I don't even get a chance to look at the damn thing.... :?

Ok...so apparently if you romance her and you don't get the bug about the ending then you can follow her through the mirror.

Now that's the ending my DN is going to take. Forever lost for Thedas, raising his child with the woman he loves.

Man, I dunno. I'm reluctant to go through the looking glass, so to speak. I'm pretty terrified that me and Morrigan are gonna get roped into painting the roses red. More seriously... she does warn against it. A place "beyond the Fade"... what the hell does that mean? Creepy. I kept thinking was that it was some sort of Buffyverse hell dimension. :P

Maybe, but think of it from this perspective.

It's a very fitting ending to our warden's story.
