So I'm going to do a morrigan play through, and If what I'm reading is correct, If I import the warden from a save during the coronation, into awakenings, then golems, I shouldn't hit the bug, correct? Does getting the ring dialogue in the origins epilogue or not getting it affect anything?

As far as I could tell he takes one in, or right near the heart, the other in his neck, and the other in his gut. Plus Alistair seemed to think that the Warden was dead. So while it's just a long shot I'm willing to go with him having been brought back to life.

Edit: I sent a message in regards to it. Mainly because I don't want to have to play though everything again for the save. Seriously I went through Origins, Awakening, and Golem so that it would be my canon Cousland/Morrigan save. I don't really want to do it again because it would end up being my eight Human Noble run through. What can I say. I like how it fits the plot.

Yeah, I guess our current thinking is that so long as you import the Origins save from the throne room and NOT the post-epilogue save back at camp, you should be ok. As far as Witch Hunt goes, you should be ok talking to Morrigan at the end of Origins to get the ring epilogue. But of course if you do this you'll miss out on the Awakening epilogue slide- but really, that doesn't matter too much now that we've got Witch Hunt.

Or if you're on PC you can just get Terra's Morrigan mod to get the Origins and Awakening endings.

Ugh that reminds me that I still need to do a canon romance where he stays with Leli alone. Poor girl always ends up as his Mistress.

Interesting regarding the Warden's possible death - having said that, if you watch the cut scene where s/he is cut down by the darkspawn, the arrows don't really go anywhere vital.

Yeah, the Warden should've walked it off imo.

Edit: Ha- I just realized you can figure out your status with Morrigan at the very start- in the opening cutscene with Claudia Black's Morrigan voice over where she says "Do not follow, I said-" the very next part of that line is different depending on how you left things.

• If you did the DR with her or romanced her, the next part of that line is " Harder words I have never spoken."
• If you have a DR bugged ending or you turned down the DR its-"and slipped into the shadows."
• Then its different again if you try a new Warden.

And I just tried importing from the throne room in Origins with my previously bugged Cousland- as expected, it does indeed give you the proper DR version of Morrigan

My memory is a little fuzzy regarding the average amount of time that passes from a patch being beta tested to its public release. Anyone have a little insight?

I'm not on pc I'm on 360 so I think I'm gonna go with the ring epilogue from origins. Its good to know that we can talk to morrigan before the archdemon get the ring epilogue and have Witch Hunt turn out alright. Ugh i hope they release a patch so I don't have to replay through awakening and GoA again with a post-corination save instead of a epilogue camp one

Honestly, I've no clue- probably depends on how it goes or if they actually know how to fix it.

I imported Aedan from Origins and it looks like he's not bugged (yay!!). He got the child dialogue with Dog, at any rate. Have to wait til the marital unit goes to work before I get the PC back to finish.

I don't have the Golems DLC, but I did import a post-coronation character (as he was the one I did the Morrigan romance with) straight into Witch Hunt and everything worked fine.

I am hoping that this and other things will be addressed in the coming mounths. They did fix some incositencies with the last patch I am told or read rather that with patch 1.04 when you import to awakening you will have letters from your companions not previously mentioned or have a few minutes tme like Alister and Wyn. Only time will tell Although I find that Wich hunt was a bit premature because of these propblems in story telling and RPGs are at there best when they tell great stories its why I got this game in the first place
