I can't believe I missed this... If you did the DR but didn't romance her she says "yet you search even so".Brockololly wrote...

Or if you're on PC you can just get Terra's Morrigan mod to get the Origins and Awakening endings.
Can I get a link to that?
Here you go!
Edit: Ha- I just realized you can figure out your status with Morrigan at the very start- in the opening cutscene with Claudia Black's Morrigan voice over where she says "Do not follow, I said-" the very next part of that line is different depending on how you left things. And I just tried importing from the throne room in Origins with my previously bugged Cousland- as expected, it does indeed give you the proper DR version of Morrigan
- If you did the DR with her or romanced her, the next part of that line is " Harder words I have never spoken."
- If you have a DR bugged ending or you turned down the DR its-"and slipped into the shadows."
- Then its different again if you try a new Warden.
It's the best way to check.

A mage/rogue hybrid with godly powers. Ha! See if you can draw him with yellow eyes and have him wield the Cousland family sword. That would be great...

I just finished Witch Hunt. Awesome. Thank you Bioware for giving me resolution with class. I chose to follow Morrigan no matter. I did this since I role played my character as being in love with her and since she told me our son was safe, innocent and beyond reach. Obviously, I'd like to know what happens next, but if Bioware's track record continues, the consequences of my decision will bear fruit at some point. I think the acknoledgment in the DLC of Flemeth's survival, the coming change to the world, and the preperation of OGB for things to come was appropriately ominous and a tasy foreshadowing of what surely DA2 will address. L&G, this is computer gaming and storytelling at its finest. Hats off to EA and BW for making a thus far special franchise. I look forward to DA2. I also got my happy ending with Morrigan with a final kiss and going with the through the mirror. Wow. what a ride since I bought DAO to kill time expecting just another good game. What I got was a lifetime experience. Good job Gaider and all the DA crew. Thank you for giving me some much needed closure to the Morri romance/DR sub-plot. Can now carry on with my life.

Can I ask a newb question? I know who David Gaider is, but what does "getting Gaider'd" mean exactly? I tried to Google it and couldn't find an answer.
Hahaha- no, its just a term created and used around these parts. Basically Gaider has written BioWare games going back to Baldur's Gate 2. And in BG2, he wrote a romance for a character named Viconia- she is strikingly similar in many ways to Morrigan in terms of attitude and once the series ended you had a nice happy ending between her and the PC. So the epilogue slide comes up describing Viconia and the Player Character's life after the game, only for Gaider to kill Viconia off in the epilogue slide. And he employed similar narrative chicanery with Aribeth in Neverwinter Nights, to an extent Bastila in KOTOR too. And then in Origins where Morrigan leaves regardless of what you do.
Think of the term "Gaider'd" as having someone pull the rug out from underneath you- its that surprise kick in the balls moment in the story that leaves you with mouth agape, thinking "Really? What the hell, man!?";)Siduri wrote...
She tells you straight up that Morrigan's playing you, and even though I like Morri I tend to believe that Flemeth's telling the truth there. So I don't know that in Witch Hunt I believe everything Morrigan implies about Flemeth being the next Big Bad.
I don't trust Flemeth at all. In WH at least, Morrigan seems genuionely distressed when talking about Flemeth- I'd believe her more than FLemeth who can't spit a clear sentence out of her dirty abomination mouth.
Couldn't have written it better myself. Also connecte3d the dots between a decade difference in CRPG expereinces. The "oh no, man" feeling when I read the Viconia-gets-killed epilogue in BG:ToB similar to then "what about Morri?" feeling when I finished DAO and worst when I naively completed DA:A.

Over the course of playing it last night on the PS3 I had a bipolar incident with it so to say.
I suffered the "you betrayed me!" crap with a glitched post epilogue save and ended up with the only option that seemed fitting actually turn out to be "stab her in the gut", not "try to stop her leaving", searched these forums, found the fix.
Redid the archdemon* to save in the coronation room and import but toggled it from nightmare to casual to get the DLC fights done more quickly and finally got the romance ending, which was so-so due to the look on her face being odd before (or was it following? I'm not sure) the kiss and the abrupt ending with no save that I could see (which made me think I payed for an ending that won't be cannon).
Then I found they're fixing that followed by a flashbulb memory of cryptic dev posts stating that her story continues but the warden's supposedly doesn't, shifting me to cynical "My Warden is going to get off-panelled :(" mode.
My qualm with the DLC is it does not "reveal Morrigan's secrets", it reveals nothing except she's going into another realm for a while to get stronger/prepare her child if she has one. She still refuses to explain anything from the ritual regardless of which side of the fence you were on and half her dialogue felt like DA2 build up.
*Which is ironic by the way, I redid Aethas' playthrough from the Korcari Wilds onwards to have a
golden mirror for post epilogue and all that was for naught, at least
some decisions were different and I got the companion experience of
other party members who emoed over me sacrificing Isolde and such the first time.

One question for the Morrigan Nation and BW: Why is Morri in Witch Hunt in her normal getup but wearing a more conservative mom pink long sleeve shirt in one of the online ads for the DLC on BW DA website?
That's the model Blur used for the Sacred Ashes trailer.

I'm quite confused so I am sure I have missed something here, but what exactly are the critera I need to fufill after the DR to ensure I keep the romance and get the ring segment of the epilogue? Is anyone able to explain the romance specifics to me? I read a post earlier on explaining it but still struggling to make sense of it all.
EDIT: Am on the 360, so consoles and mods are out.

The Denerim speach triggers the bug found in Awakening. It has nothing to do with Witch Hunt.Revelo wrote...
Im confused as to one aspect of the Warden/Morrigan romance. I've rolled an Elven Magi so I can take advantage of the items I've unlocked from Golems and Witch Hunt. I've read about how I apparently need to make sure I don't talk to her after I have done the ritual to ensure she doesn't change from love to friendly, yet I also have to give her the golden mirror too. However surely thats impossible right? Because you end up talking to her along with the rest of your group at the gates of Denerim before you go off to kill the Generals and Archdemon.

Witch Hunt introduces a new bug, however.
Right after you kill the Archdemon you find yourself in the coronation room where you can speak to your companions. If you walk out that door the game creates an auto-save that lets you go back to camp. It's the one that let's you play DLC after you finish the game if you are familiar with it. That particular save erases the DR flag, for some reason, and if you import it to WH Morrigan will just go on about how you turned her down.
The only way to avoid it is NOT let your game create that save by NOT telling the guard that you want to go see your adoring public. Or simply don't import that save. Just use a save before that(the auto-save you get in the coronation room will work fine).
EDIT: If you imported that save to Awakening or GoA you're still gonna get bugged.

I did the latter, imported a save from the post-coronation room, I spoke to each of my companions present and then saved before I spoke to the guard. I didn't encounter the bug in Witch Hunt thankfully. I'd romanced Leliana but did the DR and Morrigan acknowledged it was my son and implied I did the ritual.
I guess the Awakening bug doesn't matter really thanks to Witch Hunt, although once again it boggles the mind as to how Bioware can miss so many little issues like this.
I also imported that save to Golems and then Awakening and didn't notice the bug as well.

But of course, no where near as awesome as KOP/Morrigan's love-child. He has THE BEARD.

I figured that the mirror provided access to the Black City.

I think that when Morrigan told you about it not being a good idea going into Mirrorworld, I read into it as less of entering a dangerous place on the other side you may never come out of and more as the Warden going 'all in' on Morrigan's side in the family war brewing. Flemeth was probably content to let the Warden just fall out of the picture after Morri and Flemeth both had their turns advancing plots on the poor guy's head. Going through the Mirror is a declaration of war against her, and put's a bullseye right on the Warden which Morrigan was unsure of it being a good idea.
I like that our idea of there being something past the Fade was validated in this DLC, but I hate the fact it will probably be years before we find out what it is.

i am apositive they are not going for a honeymoon on Hawaii..and Morrigan is sure to be alive...but the Warden can remain alive...everyone make it sound like he dies if he goes through the mirror with her
