Just got an update from Victor and that issue is indeed the reason for the delay. The actual text is "She has taken my child.".blademaster7 wrote...
What the hell? She stole my child? That doesn't make any sense. [smilie]http://social.bioware.com/images/forum/emoticons/angry.png[/smilie]Terra_Ex wrote...
I sent them a bug in the beta patch i noticed a few days back - in a post-game save a particular branch "she stole my child" would never show up when speaking to Ariane, in a post-coronation save it does. Whether that's the one they're referring to I don't know.
Ah ha, thanks. I always choose "I couldn't let it end like that" or whatever.Brockololly wrote...

Okay sorry for the tangent, but what line of dialogue precedes the line in the image above? I've yet to hear it.
Its if you ask for answers I think...let me check my screens...here we go:

I think all those involved are still getting played to a certain degree.Brockololly wrote...
The question is, is Morrigan totally acting on her own now apart from Flemeth or is she somehow being played by Flemeth still? Is she unknowingly still just a puppet being strung along by Flemeth?
I always thought that was referring to Flemeth having many daughters, some of which had attempted to escape their fates, presumably calling upon the aid of others, thus Flemeth wasn't surprised with history repeating itself. Whilst Flemeth certainly has some kind of foresight, I doubt this was one such occasion.PureMethodActor wrote...
Before what was revealed in Witch Hunt, I was thoroughly convinced Morrigan and Flemeth were completely in
cahoots and that Morrigan asking you to kill Flemeth was a sort of set up, to guage just how loyal the Warden is to Morrigan and whether they could manipulate the warden or convince them to join the Dragon Cult in a
future DA title with Morrigan and Flemeth. One thing I base this on is that Flemeth isn't surprised at all when the Warden comes and announces he's going to kill her (the only surprise to Flemeth out of the whole
"Flemeth's Grimoire" quest is when the Warden accept's Flemeth's deal and takes the grimoire without struggle. Otherwise, Flemeth talks as if she has dealt with this situation before and has prepared to fight.
Yeah, despite the switching of protagonist for DA2, WH implies that it might not be his final quest. Did anyone ask Gaider if the "gift" morrigan gives you is actually plot relevant (could feature in the future) or is it merely a fourth-wall breaking moment to give you the "witchcraft" goodies... which seems less likely.Brockololly wrote...
And on the topic of destiny, fate and prophecy and all that- regarding the Warden remember the encounter with
Gaxkang where he says: "Eyes are on you from a very high vantage, Grey Warden."
Makes it seem like the Warden has caught the attention of high ups in the Fade and such. Now maybe thats just the Warden's rolein ending the Blight or maybe its something more for the future and DA3, maybe?
Ha, you should be happy I caught it. Sadly I am restricted to in-game testing.blademaster7 wrote...

Grrrr!!
Can you access the DLC with the toolset? Or are you just
testing it in-game?

the v2 patch doesn't fix the issue, the additional file is an nss script source for a plot file, which does nothing by itself. The problem only occurs in post-game saves, post-coronation saves allow you to select it.Bruddajakka wrote...
For some reason I can't get the new dialogue to pop up on any of my characters. Kind of bizarre.
Edit: Actually scratch that was able to get it to pop up on a post campaign save Dalish. Kinda sets an odd tone.

She just says that your son is safe and he is not here, or something to that effect.Nerevar-as wrote...

Whenever she says that I more or less figure she's just placed it through the portal, and it's just sitting there on the other side in a basket or something. Where it's probably being mauled by a demon.

Haha. Morrigan would probably put protective spells on the child. XD Or maybe she has a baby-sitting spell. >_>

Bug related to when you give a specific gift to each companion before you start their personal quest. In my most recent playthrough of Awakening, Anders, Velanna, Sigrun, and Justice all "Loved" me.KendallX23 wrote...

I found it curious she kept him, being the child of someone who from her POV failed her. Maybe Flemeh´s influence is starting to fade?
About Flemeth, I can´t help thinking she expected/planned for everything and Morrigan is playing her game unknowingly. There´s a Palpatine air to her.
