As a question that's been bugging me for quite a while, I'd like to ask how many of your brought Morrigan along for the battle with the Archdemon?

My main is a Mage and it was just too good staggering combos with her to leave her at the gates for the 'big' battle.

Who would win in a fight if the Morrigan/ Leliana fight got physical

Reminds me of the HK-47 'How to kill a Jedi' speech. If Morrigan saw her coming she'd mop up the Bard, but being a sneaky French Assassin there is also the possibility Morrigan would be dead before she knew she was in a fight.

Well, as I've said ad nauseum, if you're going to kill off a major character like Morrigan or even the PC like the Warden- show it, don't just have it happen off screen or in a text epilogue or only come up in dialogue.

Would be hard to show it with how the graphics will have changed between the Warden's exit and any re-entry into the story. They would either have to put them in full body armor, or have the cloaked mysterious figure going on. But I agree fully, if there is going to be a The End I'd rather see it than hear about it second hand.

because someone has been craving Morrigan sideboob and fortunately someone from the world answered...

Wheres mah picture?!  :wizard:

Oh and I think I solved the mystery of the Fade (Star Destroyer)

Awesome!

Flemeth? And who knows about Flemeth's army of mages she seems to have in DA2?

Bridge Club.

Gaider just said that Warden's story ended with DA:O and that the future is about Morrigan and her story

Lame. Replaced by lack of a voice actor, never thought I'd see the day Bioware.

Laidlaw told Brock that there will be references to Morrigan in DA2

It will be interesting to see what light they are in. If the majority of these references are coming from hearsay and Flemeth, then a bunch of people who either a)Didn't play DA:O or b)Were convinced she was the Devil are going to take them as gospel and completely muddy the plot. Or I suppose it could be 'Witch of the WIlds spotted here, doing this, wonder why?'

He was stubbornly complaining about the lack of old school rpg features in DA2 and now nobody gives a damn about his posts.

Nobody really cared at the start. Toe the line or GTFO has been there since Day One.

If Mass Effect, Dragon Age 2, and The Old Republic are all bragging up
how great VO is, the days of a silent PC are over. Sad but what can you
do, even if Gaider says "no no we MAY go back if we want to".

They could just give the Warden a voice. I'm sure that would cause a bit of yelling and gnashing of the teeth, but they'd really only need a male and female voice since if done correctly it could work for any of the available races to the Warden.

Fellow Morrigan fans, I decided that if Morrigan listen to modern music she would prolly listen to #0 Seconds to Mars.

So she has horrible taste. Fantastic.

The archdemon is hardly that difficult it spends more time hoping around and sitting still than fighting.

The AD was a joke on all difficulty settings. Just run around, guard the ballista, shoot him to death. Rinse, repeat. That entire last Act to the game, although great the first run-through, was so gimmicky and easy it became boring in repeats. I'm glad it was there though, that first time through it felt totally epic as they tried to channel the Diablo 'I can kill your entire army in 2.2 seconds!' vibe with how powerful you have gotten vs the cannon fodder.

I wonder if BioWare will use the FallOut 3 racial system to make the OGB look like our Wardens or Alistar or Logain

*If* we get to see the OGB (or whatever filler the use for the 'Not the OGB but basically the OGB' for the non-DR crowd), then I figure they will just mold it from Morrigan. The engines will have changed too much for any graphical continuation. The only thing they could do is have Elfblood OGB, Dwarfblood, yadda, yadda. But that's work, and Bioware has proven that if the work is writing they are all over that s**t, if it's technical...meh, let's get coffee instead.

My money is on Morrigan, Leliana was lucky Morrigan didn't set her hair on fire (That would of been funny) or turned her into a toad, but then again Leliana is resourseful.

That's easy. Morrigan of course. *POOF* spider form *SPINS WEB* and Leliana's trapped. She probably knows a killing spell too, so yeah, she's screwed.

Morrigan herself has killed groups of templars before...

Now...Who would win out of fight between the Warden and Morrigan? I'd say Morrigan could kick my warden's ass. Even though they're lovers and he killed the archdemon....Well Morrigan would win.

I am only just now discovering how much I enjoy "doing David Gaider's wife" --as he so aptly put it-- when Morrigan is involved...

It gives the idea that the Warden was drawing her while at camp instead of the journal of the quests.

She is way too good for Malak.

And I personally see Morrigan as an almost perfect personification of the Sith Code. Which made me luv her more, as I am a fan of the Sith code.

I also see Morrigan more fitting in with the Closed Fist personality from Jade Empire.

I dont think Morrigan fits the Sith Code very well though since it encourages you to backstab and do whatever it takes to reach the top of the heap.

Morrigan wants to survive more than anything else and is not very interested in being in a position of power over others.

Besides Morrigan is too smart to act like the majority of Sith who get killed quite easily because they get too focused on revenge or power.

Although Morrigan with a lightsaber is well HOT as Oghren puts it.

I am talking about the code, not what most Sith do.
In and of itself, the Code does not mention backstabbing or political power.
It seeks freedom as the ultimate goal.

Peace is a lie. There is only passion.

Through passion, I gain strength.

Through strength, I gain power.

Through power, I gain victory.

Through victory, my chains are broken.

The Force shall set me free.

Ah I had not read the Code in a long while it seems.

That does seem to be similar to Morrigan in many regards.

Sad that most Sith are well idiots who end up dying or trying to redeem themselves.

Darth Malgus who will be in TOR sounds quite cool though,

Let's be honest. Every woman is too good for Malak. Now for Revan on other hand...

Is it disturbing that I know the Sith Code by heart and the Jedi Code I have to look up? :P

Anyway the Sith Code fits Morrigan very well. It is similar to the Way of the Closed Fist (in Jade Empire): only the best survive, and any weakness must be eliminated.

Btw awesome art on this page. I expecially like the Morrigan-in-blanket sketch. Good length of hair

No, the Sith Code is much wiser and cooler and the Jedi code is a pile of nonsense :D

Well, I would think that many of us here would follow the sith code or that way of thinking, or do we honestly advocate to the good side of the force? to the good side of doing things in Ferelden? to the good girl in Dragon age? B)

And I agree, Morrigan with a lightsaber....hot!!! The force and the magic are strong with her.

I'd love to see a CGI Dragon Age movie. Kind of Final Fantasy: Spriits Within/Avatar CGI. This way we could bring back all the original voices and still have the characters look exactly as they should. An anime is all well and good but CGI movie WOULD ROCK ASS!
