Imo, all game adaptation  movies should be made this way, rather than use live actors.

Thats why I dig that Resident Evil Degeneration CGI movie, it was so sweet ass sweet and connected RE4 to RE5.

Having heard nothing new about it I can only imagine.

I personally would prefer a Dragon Age CGI TV series. A movie would be too short to capture DA's nuances. A series can flesh out character development much better.

The problem is that it would offend many fans if they made it.

Unless they made it with multiple wardens that is.

I know. Let's face it, they will never have a guy like Arcturus as the protagonist. Nooo, too ambitious and cunning to be a protagonist hero, we need a goodie goodie moron to identify with <_<

Arcturus would then sue them for copyright infringement.

Arcturus is too awesome to be captured on screen. Besides, Morrigan would simply steal him from the set.

I'm wondering what that February date is supposed to be? Knowing our luck at this rate, that'll be the date they show some DA2 PC gameplay....



But as for Morrigan showing up in the anime or something- meh. As much as I like Claudia Black's voice, putting Morrigan in the anime would be odd considering how closely she can be linked to the Warden- never mind that would mean she isn't written by Gaider either. I'm guessing the anime will just be something totally unrelated- which is for the best, considering EA game animes haven't been too stellar.

If the Dragon Age comicbook is anything to go by, the anime will most likely be about completely new characters. What will tie it to Dragon Age will likely be familiar locales and well known npcs making an appearance (like how Gregoir appears in the comic).

Bad thing? Not as far as I'm concerned. DA:O and it's characters are very dear to me and if anyone is going to use them for anything it should be Bioware's writers who made them in the first place. Everyone else is free to play around in the setting in their respective medias as long as they come up with their own toys.

I die a little inside (not really) when Morrigan falls in battle and racks up the injuries. Is there a way to avoid this besides sticking to that ass like white on rice?

Sure. You can set up tactics to have your warrior pick up anyone who tries to attack Morrigan.



Also, spells like mindblast, arcane shield, rock armor, drain life, etc. are all usefull at keeping her alive.



If you have your warrior activate threaten and use taunt on groups of enemies you should be able to keep them away from your more vulnerable party members.

Actually now that I think about it, I'd love the DA anime to tell stories. 1) Cailan/Anora/Loghain centric tale leading up to the moments before Cailan welcomes Duncan to Ostagar, and 2) a progressive background tale of Morrigan growing up.

True, but it's still other people using his charatcer. And considering how Mike Laidlaw and other Bioware staffers confirmed that we'll be seeing Morrigan again, I doubt they'll let someone else use her until Bioware told the story they want to tell.

It would be so incredibly lame if "seeing Morrigan again" involved her simply being in some ancillary product like the anime or something. I doubt they'd do that, but still...

I'm curious how that anime will be, considering the comic hasn't been anything too terribly remarkable really. At this stage, I just want to know when Morrigan turns back up: an expansion pack for DA2? DA3? DA4?
