True, but it's still other people using his charatcer. And considering how Mike Laidlaw and other Bioware staffers confirmed that we'll be seeing Morrigan again, I doubt they'll let someone else use her until Bioware told the story they want to tell.
It would be so incredibly lame if "seeing Morrigan again" involved her simply being in some ancillary product like the anime or something. I doubt they'd do that, but still...
I'm curious how that anime will be, considering the comic hasn't been anything too terribly remarkable really. At this stage, I just want to know when Morrigan turns back up: an expansion pack for DA2? DA3? DA4?
They won't. Laidlaw said that DA2 is setting up the stage for Morrigan's return and that she's also a character that's going to change the world, like Hawke will. My money is that she'll be back in DA3.

I've avoided any and all discussions about DA2 since I have no intentions of ever playing that game (no Morrigan, no point) but the idea of the witch making an appearance for DA3 is most interesting. However, given the fact that Bioware has repeatedly dropped the ball when it comes to our favorite witch, I'm not going to get my hopes up.

*sigh*
I seriously hope the DAO figures come out in Janurary like the DC Direct website claims. I'm tired of these crap ass delays, I really don't want to attempt to sculpt Morrigan's face - I'm afraid I'm gonna get it wrong and I'll have spent like 2 hours doing it only to have to start all over again.

Oh, I'm sure some brave soul will jump on the grenade that is DA2 to inform the Morri thread here if there is any Morrigan related info to be had. I'm sure DA2 will be "ok" but I'd be going through it scrounging for Morrigan info and likely come away disappointed like Awakening.

Ha- I'm waiting to get a tablet so I can start my own Morri/Warden art binge and comic. If I'm going to get it I'll likely get it soon, I'm damn indecisive whether I should pay an extra ~$80 for the bigger Wacom Bamboo Fun or just get the cheaper and smaller Bamboo Pen and Touch...

Brock, spending more on a wacom is worth it. Trust me. If only I had the money to get an intuos. ;__;
@Esbatty
I've been planning to do a Morri sculpt but I haven't had the time. (Plus I planned to work on Edric first since he's my test dummy. XD)

There is only disappointment regarding Morri info to be had.

But I hear its always better to give someone a gift of something you'd want for yourself. Plus she's an immensely more talented artist than myself and can probly put it to better use.

Oh Vann is soooooooo easy I have to do like ZERO sculpting, just have to repaint an unmasked Bruce Wayne's head to the proper eye and more ashen skin palor (Vann loved Orzammar and the Brecillian a little too much), and then just sand down the cheeks for the proper sallow, maybe sharpen the cheekbones and VIOLA! near-instant Vann Cousland head. Then its just a matter of sculpting a swappable Helmet of the Sentinel head and then use rare-earth magnets and some ball bearings so that the heads have more natural articulation on the figure bodies.
Because I don't sculpt statues, I make custom figures. But Morrigan... ugh, its gonna hurt making like 3 or 4 attempts and having to settle on one before working on the rest of her body. She is thin and lithe enough that I can use a mish mash of Female McFarlane figures and DC Universe classics female bodies to get the right "curves" expect I'll probly have up-size her breasts a tad as it's gonna be an "In The Land Of Ever" Morrigan.

Ha- no, its a good idea in story driven games if you're not sure. If you're just in it for the story just watch all the cutscenes as they inevitably show up on youtube!

You'd think that. But when it comes to preggos, it's strictly *access denied*.
Trust me, you'll end up praying for the return of PMS.

Hahaha. This conversation made me chuckle. XD
So esbatty, looks like it does mean Acces is denied for Vann Cousland later on in In the land of ever. XD
