I'm just wondering, what's your favorite Morrigan moment/conversation? I'd have to say my favorite one is the alternative path to the "'tis cold in my tent..." which she starts with "'Tis a curious thing..." if I remember correctly.

Mine were:

Witch Hunt: "Come my love, we will face the future together!" followed by "What I...want is irrelevant" seconds earlier.

I have ideas.....

*sigh* too bad I'm still spazzing out with my tablet. Getting better, but still not up to par with a regular pencil and paper. OT, but does anyone have any tutorials or anything for PaintTool Sai? I've been trying to get used to that over Photoshop, as its a bit easier for just drawing I think.

Totally did not intend to color this, so yeah, she sort of has clown makeup and a screwed up face:P

I beat Origins and got the Ring ending with Morrigan, however at the time I wasn't aware that doing so sets me relationship as friendly. I beat awakening with no mention of Morrigan. Then I beat witch hunt with her saying I never completed the ritual. I want to be able to import my latest save into DA2 however I don't want to import a save saying I didn't complete something when I actually did. Here's what I want to do.

I want to be able to talk to Morrigan before I beat the Archdemon so I can get the ring ending in DA:O. Then I want to be able to import that save into Awakening and have it say I went after Morrigan. Lastly, I want to be able to take that save and import it into Witch Hunt and have it recognize my ritual. What are my options here?  Is there any way to edit the save files to change relationship flags?

If you're on PC, the easiest solution is to download Terra_ex's Morrigan dialogue fix- its fixes the whole botched Awakening ending. So basically, download and install that, then you should be able to talk to Morrigan in Origins and get the ring ending and still get the proper epilogue in Awakening. ANd make sure you have Witch Hunt 1.1 and you should have Morrigan respond properly and get the last autosave which you should be able to import into DA2.

For example can I go into my Awakening save and complete it and get the correct epilogue and then import that one into Witch Hunt?

I'm going to go try it now. 


EDIT: Well apparently I don't have a save before I talked to Morrigan before the Archdemon battle. I guess my only choice is to try to do a console edit in a post epilogue save.

EDIT 2: After doing some searching I came across the runscript zz_app_debug console command so I just turned the Morrigan romance flag back on.

I'm going to go try it now. 

I think it will work retroactively- so if you install it and then load up the end of Awakening you should be able to see if you get the right epilogue there and then go to Witch Hunt from there. On the first page of this thread you can sort of get the rundown on all this- but with Witch Hunt you can tell if it imported right based on the first line of dialogue Morrigan says  in the intro.

That mod also restores some of Morrigan's dialogues from Origins that for whatever reason were cut, so its just a good mod to have.

Not that it's a huge deal, but it seems that I am going to have to play through Awakening again if I want to get the Morrigan ending. I tried using the Awakening debug tool however that was to no avail. I just hope I can remember all the things I did through my original Awakening playthrough. If anyone knows of a way to change the romance flag from friendly to love for Morrigan in an Awakening save file please let me know.

Chapter 14.2 entitled "Love" is fiiiiiiiiinaaaaaaaaallllllly posted for In The Land Of Ever. Literally a dozen iterations were done in past 5 or so weeks. So this is like if I typed it out at the pace of 30 words a day, ugh. lol

Ok, i hate to ask this, but im on an Xbox 360 working on my "perfect" ending. Im at the end of Origins, I have previously given Morrigan the mirror, did the Ritual, she is still set at love(i assume). I have a save just before the Archdemon, where I have yet to talk to Morrigan after ritual.



I am hoping to get the "Ring" ending in Origins, import to Awakening, get the Morrigan slide in Awakening, and import to GoA and WH, and be able to follow through the mirror. Did i mess up anywhere and if so is it still possible to get the "go through the mirror also" ending even if i'm unable to get the other 2 slides?



I also apologize in advance, as I did not take the time to read 490-ish pages.

Oh come on, you have to read all 490 pages before you post- its high quality reading:D


Basically, as I recall (its been a while), after you say goodbye to all the companions at the gates of denerim, if you click on Morrigan and talk to her "about last night" that triggers her to go out of "love" status. But, unless you have that conversation with her, you won't get the epilogue in Origins where she feels regret through the ring and all that. So if you import that save game (the Origins ring epilogue one) into Awakening, you will not get the proper epilogue in Awakening where it says your Warden went searching for Morrigan in Orlais.

BUT, so long as you have the updated Witch Hunt,  you should be able to still import that game into Golems and then Witch Hunt and Witch Hunt should work properly. And so long as you have the updated Witch Hunt, Morrigan should recognize your Warden having done the Dark Ritual and you'll be able to go through the ELuvian with her and get the autosave to import into DA2.


If you're on 360 unless you resort to some trickery with the mirror, I think you'll have to choose which Morrigan epilogue slide you want. Its a Catch 22- if you talk with her at the end of Orgins, you get her Origins epilogue but lose the Awakening one. Whereas if you don't talk with her at the end of Origins, you miss out on her ring/regret Origins epilogue but you'll get the Awakening epilogue. In either case though, you should be ok for importing properly into WItch Hunt, provided its updated.

If you were on the PC there are mods to fix that. But personally, I like the Origins epilogue for Morrigan alot more- and you get the one last conversation with her too. The Awakening epilogue isn't anything special and you can boot up Witch Hunt right after that, so you're not missing out on much.

Finally! 4 months after the release, I finally finished the Witch Hunt DLC.

Avoiding these forums like a plague for such a long time has paid off. For the past few days I’ve been trying to read the last 140 pages that I missed in this thread, but I recently gave up when I was about half way through. Seriously… how the hell can you guys write such long posts?!

I won’t post my review, since its too late for it and  you guys already said just about everything that I wanted. The main thing I wanna say is that I’m happy that my Warden got some decent closure, and now I feel like buying DA2.

Now, I’m off to check out all the things I missed from ximena.

Damn- if anything thats why I'll get DA2 at launch even if I have my doubts about it- I know I'd end up having the story spoiled and I'd hate that. Of course, my primary interest in DA2 is still how everything affects Morrrigan and the Warden.

Kudos for even trying to read the novels worth of posts in this thread though:lol:

So you were happy with Witch Hunt overall though then I take it?
