BTW, loving ME2.
Who should I romance? I'm getting dangerously close to having to decide. I know there's no plot hook nonsense I have to worry about, but I'm still not sure who my Paragon Shepard would naturally romance.
Twisting in the wind on that one. Think I'll just take the safe road and go shoot up something with Grunt and a random biotic.
I went with a Jack in the end for male shepard, tali just seems to belong in the good friends zone for me, since that's where she was in ME1. Miranda didn't really interest me a whole lot either. The options aren't that great, plus if you do romance someone, you're probably gonna screw up your chances with Liara in ME3.
My femshep didn't receive any love in ME2, and is feeling a little stressed.
Oh yeah, have you done Tali's loyalty mission yet?

More
sad faces.. ../../../images/forum/emoticons/sideways.png
I just took a close look at these. If I'm
not mistaken they appear as if they were taken AFTER the "official"
farewells at the Gates of Denerim prior to you reaching the Archdemon.
As
such, you have committed plot heresy and must be burned!../../../images/forum/emoticons/grin.png Better yet we'll just remove your pre-modded love flags.
HA,
couldn't resist. Good screens.
These are the faces of all the poor console players who are unable to enjoy the newly restored Morrigan goodness. *sigh* that includes my first warden as well...
Ah see, you had to go there didn't you?

ME2 Situation Report (ME2 SPOILERS FOLLOW);
Have completed most loyalty missions and Firewalker missions are complete. Especially liked the graphic rendering of the last firewalker mission. Grander scales are better than just about anything I’ve seen yet.
Shepard is at full Paragon (helps a lot) and his player has finally got the hang of interrupt.
Finished Samara’s mission and…wow, talking about walking a minefield with Morinth. That’s one evil beeotch, genetic defects aside, she had to go down. I didn’t know what to expect with her and was looking forward to it. Had to go a bit Renegade, but in the end, it was an easy choice, I chose Samara. I really felt empathy for her and her character is so regal and upstanding.
Yes on Tali, just finished last night. It was awesome. I was looking forward to seeing the Migrant Fleet, and I was not disappointed. I admit it, I’m a Quarian fan. They’re emotional people balanced by technical wizardry. They improvise, adapt and overcome. You really wonder what they look like under those suits. Very poignant excerpts throughout the mission though; Tali’s voice cracking at seeing her father was moving. The best VA I’ve run into thus far imo. Perhaps the most I’ve been moved in ME. Retaking the lab was great; enjoyed the advancing Geth. They were very aggressive, very challenging.
The trial was cool and Shepard set Tali up as the hero of the universe. He didn’t expose her father and she is truly Tali Zorah vas Normandy now. Tried to convince the Admiralty to forego war on the Geth. Don’t think they were listening.
Regarding the admirals: I don’t know why, but two characters I liked in DA:O (and spared) came to mind during our discussions prior to leaving for the lab.

It was a nice bone, oh and that statue at Hock’s had me chuckling while Shepard was huddled behind destructible cover fumbling around for his inferno ammo switch. Actually forgot I was in a battle for a moment.
Bottom line: Tali’s mission, best yet. I replayed it three times.
Hate planet scanning. Pretty much want to slice my carotid open.
Prefer the shuttle to the Mako. There IS a merciful Maker up there somewhere.
Really enjoyed smacking Zaeed. Thought Jacob’s father was a monstrous coward, but handed him over to the Alliance anyway.
I really liked the space graphics at the Collector Ship and the Migrant Fleet. Don’t know why that caught my eye, but I thought the rendering was much more realistic and it drew me in. There was texture and richness in it. A welcome relief from sterile clarity. That’s probably a weird point, but I did feel like I was really in a deep, dark part of the galaxy in those two scenes.
Still have some things to do (IFF, Activation, etc) before committing to the Omega 4 Relay. I will probably be triple checking everything for a day or two. I feel it’s about to get ugly pretty quick.
