Yea so recently i did my final plathrought with ending the game with both morrigan and lileana romance, The ending epiloug states lileana stay with my warden who got married to Anora for a time but i didnt get Morrigans ring epiloug.

But i have two of her rings?!?! So i Imported my warden to WH, Morrigan recognize that we had a Child but she dosent recognize the ring or are romance.

So what im asking is 1.did anybody run into this ?? 2.Did i miss up romancing both lileana and morrigan glitch??

3.Can this be fix??

I got two rings too...did you give her the mirror after the epilogue?  That reactivates the romance.  At the final battle, her status drops from love to friendly, so you need to give her the mirror after the epilogue....right?

JFarr74,

I think (THINK) that to get the Awakening Epilogue, you need to be at "love" status in the DAO game you import, and NOT have agreed to go adventuring with anyone else at the end of DAO ike Leli or Zevran. If you had to use the mirror to get back to Love status in the post-epilogue camp save, then that's the savegame you need to import. Note, however, that if you used the Morrigan Mod, you don't need to use the mirror; you'll stay at "love" after the Ritual even if you talk to Morrigan afterwards.

Brockolily knows hundreds times more than I do, but I've assumed that to get the Ring epilogue in DAO you needed (a) the Ring, (B) to be in an active romance with Morrigan, and © to have told Alistaire at the end that you intend to go after Morrigan. But I might be wrong about ©.

I've never seen definitive requirements to have the option of going through the mirror in WH. I have the feeling it's probably more forgiving than the epilogues. I suspect having been in an active romance and done the Ritual is enough. I can tell you I didn't get the Awakening epilogue (because I went traveling with Leli) but I did get to go through the mirror in WH.

First off, no mods, because I have the Xbox 360 version, NOT the PC version.  Secondly, I did what the Dragon Age Wikia and other people suggested, and gave her the mirror after the epliogue.  My question is, did this fix the romance for Morrigan for Awakening and Witch Hunt?

I would try a quick run and test. If you can ask the dog about seeing the child, and tell Ariane you love Morrigan, you should be fine for that. If that works fine, then scrap the test save and move on to Awakening.

I did the opening of Witch Hunt and one of the options of dialogue to Ariane when she asked about Morrigan was "I love her." Does that mean the romance is still on?

I think so. Could you ask the dog about seeing the child? That's the indication the DR was recognized.

I've never seen that myself. To get the ring epilogue if you've romanced Morrigan all the way, you need to speak with her the one last time after everyone says their goodbyes at the gates of Denerim. When you talk with her there about the Ritual last night, that conversation triggers the ring epilogue. But it also causes Morrigan to go from "love" to "friendly". Provided you still have the mirror, you can simply give Morrigan the mirror in the post epilogue save at camp to reset her to love status. That way you get the Awakening epilogue.

If the epilogue in Origins says you went off with Leliana, I think its possible to sort of trigger Leliana's romance again when you talk to her in the throne room maybe? Or maybe that was fixed in a patch? I'm not sure- Leliana has all sorts of bugs too.:wizard:

For Witch Hunt, so long as you have version 1.1 you should be ok no matter what, I think.

There is problem #1- you need the PC version;)

Basically, if you gave her the mirror after the epilogue and chose the dialogue thats like "Its a gift for a beautiful woman," that should reset her to love. And you should get the Morrigan epilogue slide in Awakening.

Make sure you have the updated Witch Hunt 1.1 and as has been said, you can tell a couple ways if it imported properly to recognize you having done the DR:

Check #1
Right when you start up Witch Hunt, you hear Morrigan doing the voice over. That voice over will be different depending on how you left things with her. She'll  say the line "Do not follow, I said-" the very  next part of that line is different depending on how you left things:

- If you did the DR with her or romanced her, the next part of that line is " Harder words I have never spoken."

- If you have a DR bugged ending or you turned down the DR its-"and slipped into the shadows."

-If you did the DR but didn't romance her she says "yet you search even so".

So, if you romanced her and did the DR you should have the "Harder words" line.

This is the first conversation with Dog. If #3 is available then it  means you did the DR and you got a proper game. If not then either you  refused it or you've got problems.

Yeah, I can.  Also, she does say the "harder words" line too.  So does that mean everything is all good with my romance with Morrigan?

First of all, it's the golden mirror, not silver mirror -- you buy it from Garin the merchant in Orzammar Commons.  If you're not using the PC version (and thus can't use the Morrigan Mod), and if you want a chance at the Ring Epilogue in DAO AND the Awakening Epilogue, then yes, you must save the golden mirror and never give it to Morrigan until after the Final Battle, in the post-epilogue Camp.  If you've already given it to her, then giving it to her again won't trigger the dialogue that takes her back to "love."  And if she's not at "love," you don't get the Awakening dialogue.

Again, however, particularly since you also want to romance Leliana, you won't get the Awakening dialogue if you go traveling with Leliana (or Zevran) at the end of DAO, even if Morrigan is at "love."

As for romancing both (and speaking for myself, I'm really trying to cure myself of doing that -- as Leliana says, it's really disrespectful to both):

There are more ways than one, I think.  But the key lies in realizing that each character will do the "jealousy" dialogue only once, and romance with each character can be rekindled after it's been broken off.  But you have to make sure that you don't use the "rekindling" item before you break off the romance

With Leliana, completing her Marjolaine quest will let you rekindle the romance.  For Morrigan, giving her the golden mirror will let you rekindle the romance.  So if you can't use the Morrigan Mod, you can see why romancing both Morrigan and Leliana will be a problem if you want to reset Morrigan to "love" after the final battle.

So, for example:

1.  Romance Morrigan immediately after she joins your party -- just take her to Camp, do all her dialogues, and tell her everything she wants to hear.  (Basically agree that life is about survival, only the strong survive, love is for weaklings, etc.).

2.  Meet Leliana at Lothering.  Do her dialogues and get her approval up high.  Enter and leave camp if necessary, and keep talking until she admits that she lied to you about her reasons for leaving Orlais.

3. Not sure you can actually romance Leliana at this stage, but Morrigan will still get jealous.  Once Leliana tells you about Marjolaine, check in with Morrigan.  If necessary keep working on Leliana's approval, but do not under any circumstances complete her Marjolaine quest.  At some point Morrigan will get jealous and force you to choose.

4.  Choose Morrigan.  Talk to Leliana and be as gentle as you can.  She'll be hurt, but understanding.

5.  Now  complete Leliana's quest.  After she's confessed to you, your next random encounter in your world travels will be with Assassins who have been sent to kill Leliana.  After that, go find Marjolaine in Denerim and kill her.  Make sure Leliana's approval is close to 100.

6.  When you talk to Leliana next in camp, you'll be able to reactivate the romance.  However, now Leliana is jealous of Morrigan and makes you choose.  You have to choose Leliana this time.

7.  At this point the only way to reactivate the romance with Morrigan is to give her the golden mirror.  I enjoyed doing Morrigan's personal quest (killing Flemeth) first, because her dialogue about friendship afterwards is some of the best in the game.

I should add that the Feastday gifts that are downloadable content, and are for sale by Bodahn in camp, are invaluable for quick, massive increases in approval. The fat lute, for example, will increase Leliana's approval by 50, and I think the Alistaire Doll will do the same for Morrigan.

@Grendenhal Every item is a +50 approval for Feast Day Gifts. Pranks all cause -50

Playing the Demo and dealing with that Bethany chit who is apparently supposed to be my sister just made me miss Morrigan more.

On a side note! Flemeth made a funny Morrigan reference.

At least there was a small reference to Morrigan in the Demo If Hawke replies "You got me there". I hope and look forward for more references or mentioning of Morrigan even if it is unlikely.

I do agree, Flemeth did looked kinda foxy, alas, My Warden will attempt to kill her eventually. So, After dispatching Morrigan with the Warden she flew around the blight lands and found Hawke and possibly she saw something in the future. I did found interesting when she said what she might actually be..."perhaps".

They'll just go the Isabela redesign route- change her face completely, slap some massive boobs on and add some more T&A and even less clothing. Voila, Morrigan in DA3.<_<

I just played through it once (its eh, ok, not bad, not great, just ok)- I'll have to go through it more to see the Morrigan reference. I did get a line where Hawke asks Flemeth something like "How did you turn into a dragon?" To which FLemeth replied "Maybe I am a dragon?"

If Flemeth is indeed a dragon and is Morrigan's biological mother......then....would that make Morrigan DRAGONBORNE!? :wizard:

Got to go to bed--  But the demo is mostly combat in the escape from Lothering bit where Flemeth rescues Hawke and Friends. Its worth trying out as you can get a feel for the spastic combat and ME flavor dialogue wheel ().

I did like Flemeth's first words to Hawke: "Well, well what have we here?"

Oh, and if you see the credits for the game in the demo, you can see all the voice actors and indeed, there is no Claudia Black as suspected- however the VA's for the other LI's all appear.

Combat is much faster, but is esentially the same as in Origins. Only now it doens't take ages for your character to swing that two-handed sword around. Rogue and warrior play differently as well, with rogue leaping around into position and being kings at killing a tough single target and warriors doing aoe damage with every attack (example: mighty blow now hits everyone around you, rather then just the enemy you were targeting).

Spoken dialogue is on the same level as in DA:O, but now you use a dialogue wheel with icons to give you an idea if you're trying to be nice, aggresive, sarcstic, etc. It works nicely and makes it a lot easier to roleplay a character with a certain personality.

As far a locales go, we saw Blightlands (area around Lothering that has been corrupted by the Blight) and part of KIrkwall called Hightown (where upper class citizens reside). Kirkwall in particular looks impressive. Very different from the Denerim and actually feels like a huge city.

Companions look good, but the demo is too short to make a proper impression of them. Isabela looks gorgeous though.

Skill trees have been redesigned to that you no longer need to take 1-2 useless abilities in order to get that specific useful one. Warrior and mage tress are pretty similar to how they were in the previous game, except some new abilities have been added (scythe- warrior charges and damages every enemy on the way to his chosen target) and some old ones removed (sunder armor, sunder arms, critical strike).

Overall, I'd say it an improvement over the original game while staying true to what came before.
