Regarding the admirals: I don’t know why, but two characters I liked in DA:O (and spared) came to mind during our discussions prior to leaving for the lab. Posted Image J J J J  Posted ImageIt was a nice bone, oh and that statue at Hock’s had me chuckling while Shepard was huddled behind destructible cover fumbling around for his inferno ammo switch.  Actually forgot I was in a battle for a moment.

lol, now you know where she's hiding out Barbarossa, I tell you, DA2 will take place on board the migrant fleet.

Actually it's THREE characters.  Don't want to list.  Everyone said two, but I'm hearing three.  Listen to Admirals Garrel and Xen (although well disguised) which are fairly obvious.  Also listen to Koris.  You will know him from Soldier's Peak.

And the Migrant Fleet would make a great backdrop for DA2:

Shepard or Warden: "Admiral Xen's voice meet Tali, Tali meet Admiral Xen's voice."

Tali: "Go for the optics, Chiktikka! Go for the optics!"

Well done. :)

Too bad you can't turn her into a suit of armor.

Umm Terra... if the "juggling knifes" lines comes up you don't have the option to ask for a kiss.

According to the toolset, she says that if you're NOT romancing her and kisses you. I would rather have the kiss in my video... :P

Wait a sec while i load up the toolset - are you talking about the "something more substantial" option?

Edit - ah i see it now , - the response "What was that last bit?" is supposed to lead into a kiss. The condition is set as ROMANCE_CUT_OFF = TRUE, Which doesn't look right...

Yes. If the romance is activated and you roll the 50% flaming knives thingy you don't get your kiss :(

The toolset says that the "something more substantial" is alluding to money, and thus shouldn't end in a kiss regardless.

The only path I can see that should end in a kiss is the "What was that last bit" response, which has a bizarre condition check on it.

Ok, i fixed that stupid "What was that last bit" response by reversing the condition check. If you choose that line, you'll get the kiss.

The something more substantial dialog doesn't seem to lead anywhere, though the VO comments does say IF PC IS MALE... Maybe a kiss would be appropriate there too....

Wait...seriously? Holy Cow...
I've seen *every* Episode of Farscape at least three times and I have season's 9-10 of SG1. Plus, obviously, Dragon Age and ME2. How did I *not* hear her as the Bartender? Great, now that hilarious line of, "No Sex, I just cleaned the Bar," will never sound right again...

Seriously? Got to go back and check that. Now Farscape - that was a great show :) Maybe I can get my Morrigan vocal fix through watching it again.

Wow, I missed that one and I spoke with her (again) last night doing all my clean-up prior to IFF/Suicide Mission.  Very well disguised.  Does Not sound like her.

But I did match Avernus with Admiral Koris since we're naming names.Posted Image

There's also the little Gem that Farscape was the inspiration for Mass Effect.

Example?

In the Season One Episode, "They have a Secret" Aryn and John (ahem *John*) have a conversation about how Bacteria that effects Crighton would not effect her the same way and vice versa. Also how Sabations are raised in Controlled enviornments to protect them from infection, and how when they reach adulthood they travel the Galaxy where thier scientists create genetic treatments for them against Bacteria.

Sound familiar? Posted Image

Yeah, Claudia Black isn't listed in the credits as the Asari bartender( I think she is listed as Admiral Xen and Additional voices, but listen to her voice in this clip: and then compare it to the Asari bartender. Its seems pretty close, IMO.

Now that I think of it too, I'm pretty sure Claudia Black was also the voice of the Rachni representative Asari that you meet on Illium too, that is assuming you didn't kill off the Rachni in ME1...

V104 is available now on both project pages, it addresses this issue and fixes Morrigan's dialogue in Arl Eamon's estate so you don't get the "What comes my friend" line. Feel free to make your flaming knives video :)

Not sure she ever stopped loving the PC, but think what she percieve as her goal is more important, i am guessing by thats just my theory is that Morrigan is trying to save the old gods and the old magic and secrets that falls outside the chantry tyrant grip, but in having the god birthed as i child its probaly still sought by the darkspawns and likely require a great deal of magic to keep safe from them, at least until the child is old enough, at that point i imagine she is gonna use the child to free the other old gods, if or not she initially mean to end the darkspawns or not i am not completely sure of.

As morrigan herself said i believe in one the dialogues " that something are worth preserving" i imagine by that she means old magic outside the chantry and religions.

This is pretty much what those of us posting here agree upon.

While it's not possible to say how exactly she's going to achieve that, we do know that the god baby plays an important role.

Hopefuly this is something that the writers will explore in more detail in DA2, by reuniting our Warden and Morrigan.

Ha! Great... thanks Terra. Now I can stop worrying about making the video and get back to my solo game... :P

Speaking of that, I just wiped out the mages and recruited the templars....
Sloth is a punk by the way.

I think I'll do some sidequests now. I desperately need the money to upgrade my equipment.

lol, I haven't actually *played* DA for a good while now, be sure to enjoy it on my behalf blademaster.

Back to Morrigan's dialog - someone on DANexus brought up a good point - what are people's opinions on Morrigan only teaching shapeshifting when she effectively hates the player. As it stands, she outright refuses to teach friendly+ wardens the ability which stands at odds with all the other companions requirements for teaching specialisations. I'll check out the condition in the toolset later when I return home but I'm betting this is another bug.
