Yea, Leliana also mentioned my Warden being king and that's at year 6. He's supposed to have vanished.
So either WH did not import. Or it got retconned. Wonderful.

[Spoilers]
The most I got from him was "It's funny, I traveled around with someone like this before." and also mentioning that he got a cat named Ser Pounce-a-lot as a gift. Don't quote me directly here, but that's the jist of what he said.
As far as other Awakening references off the top of my head, Nathaniel mentioned that the Gray Wardens' political situation was "complicated" and that they had "allies" who were supposed to make sure a particular area of the Deep Roads had been clear of darkspawn. I can only assume he's talking about the Architect since I spared him. I believe he also directly mentions the Architect is still alive.
Also, adding to the above post. Alistair and Teagan said my Warden was in Denerim. I thought he'd be through the Eluvian by then, weird
[/Spoilers]
Brock, earlier you posted that I can see if my save imported correctly from WH by reading the plot summary, where can I check that out again?
If anyone else has questions about references to Origins or Awakening I can do my best to answer them

So -that's- what happened! I was so confused by that conversation and had failed to connect it to that quest hahaBrockololly wrote...

The end quests for her are really... dark suffice it to say.
And
bugged- the whole thing was ruined for me when going to talk to her it
seemingly skipped ahead one conversation, spoiling her Act 3 companion
quest. Thanks BioWare for spoiling your own game.[smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/pinched.png[/smilie]

From what I've seen that doesn't really help you though. It's still a loss, just not as bad of a loss, right? (I'm going on my experience with Carver)

Yeah, well sure you still lose....but if you like the Wardens its not a loss, and they can show up later....

SPOILER (MAJOR):
Morrigan is NOT Flemeth's daughter. Either Morrigan IS Flemeth from the past of Flemeth or Morrigan is Actually a dragon shapeshifted into a human by Flemeth when she was a child.

Welcome for what? In the video Flemeth states that Morrigan's personality (i.e. the personality of someone who would turn on the individual who raised her) is the result of being raised by Flemeth to turn out exactly the way that she did.
No more, no less. Morrigan is just as physically human as the Champion in that video.

How did you miss it?
She is asked: Is Morrigan you daughter or your enemy?
Flemeth's Answer: Neither is she.

Well, the lines are actually:
SPOILERS FOR SUNDERMOUNT
Hawke: Who is Morrigan?--> Is that someone I should know?
Flemeth: She is a girl who thinks she knows what is what better than I or anyone. Haha. And why not- I raised her to be as she is. I cannot expect her to be less.
Hawke: I'm not sure whether she's your daughter or your enemy.
Flemeth: Neither is she.
I took that to mean that Morrigan wasn't sure whether she was Flemeth's biological daughter or that Morrigan wasn't sure of Flemeth- and Flemeth knows of Morrigan's uncertainty. Which would make sense, as Morrigan in Origins questions whether she is Flemeth's biological daughter and given the whole body snatching thing, plus her seemingly genuine fear of Flemeth in Witch Hunt, it would seem Morrigan increasingly views Flemeth as her enemy.
Unless you're taking Flemeth's "neither is she" to mean something that Morrigan is neither her daughter or enemy?
But there is some interesting specuation fodder in that conversation nevertheless.

Once again, you're misunderstanding. It's Morrigan who isn't sure whether she's Flemeth's daughter or enemy.

Hahaha- so I went back over the end of DA2, and without spoiling too much, you get some more of those 2D art panels like the load screens and such in a book type form.
It reminded me of the speculation after DA2 was announced on the hooded figure in red, who we now know is Meredith, not Morrigan. But its funny to bring up Ximena's speculation drawing from page 250

BUT, if you slow that scene down as the book's pages flip closed, you do see some interesting things...
Like Morrigan! So Morrigan is in DA2, for all of 3 frames!

There are some interesting looking things to be glimpsed in the split-second views of the book at the end, though. Would probably be worth while to go through it with a frame by frame.

Morrigan even tells the Warden that she might not necessarily be Flemeth's actual daughter. On I think two occasions.
Both of them clearly know more than what they let on. Especially Flemeth. Morrigan? I'm a bit more uncertain simply because of the relationship between her and the Warden.

Is that Morrigan or Flemeth? Reason I ask is because Flemeth's first appearence has her in a similar pose. Though I admit the armor - specifically the chest - doesn't look right for Flemeth's appearence in this game.

About 99% sure the one above is supposed to Morrigan- the necklace fits, the bra/robe look fits, the feathers on shoulder, looks like she maybe has her hood up like in the early concept art.
The rest of that brief bit at the end with the book has concept art DA2 Flemeth - blacked out the text; its not too spoilery though-

And Shale!

And apparently with Drunk Alistair's cameo, if you keep clicking on him he'll say: "Its all Morrigan's fault."

Those cutscenes are BINK (.bik) files. If you can play them, you can get it without the subtitles (and audio)

Maybe it's a bug or something. ... which is probably the only thing (along with mods) that might spur me to do a replay of DA2.

I really hope DA3 brings everything together with Hawke and the Warden. Multiple protagonists! Morrigan/Warden/OGB /Flemeth resolution! Come on!

Considering the lack of polish on the little things in DA2, I'd guess the bartender's 3 or 4 Origins references are probably all there is.

And I hope there aren't any import bugs. I'd be a bit more than cranky to find out the game disregarded my Warden-Morrigan romance. Although it wasn't core to the Morrigan plot, it definitely adds to the story and enhances the relationship between the two characters. And yes, I do think the Warden was relevant to her story, simply because of the OGB (denied or conceived).

If my Warden went through the Eluvian with Morrigan and she needs "time" how the hell can my Warden come back to Denerim after like less than 5 years? That must be one powerful OGB.
