Ah well that's a piece of decent news there.
Did they give any estimated time frame when that patch might be released? (sorry for the questions, but I've been away from the forums for a bit, & missed any updates on patches when I started catching up last night)

OMG, took me 2 days to get through the whole thread since the last time I posted here (which was about pg 10)!
Now if that aint a sure sign of devotion & dedication to Morri, gawd knows what is!!!!
That's all I have to say.

Very nice! Much as I gush over the male leads in this game, nobody gets to do anything as romantic and epic as the male PC slaying a dragon on Morrigan's behalf.

True enough.
Guess that makes a male PC Morrigan's knight in shinning armor.
Aahh, the things we do for a beautiful witch..

lol, that's some serious dedication you've shown to Morri there, I'm sure she'd approve
Nice, but where's the flame enchantment on those daggers? Rogues are pretty lethal once they get momentum and you can tear through pretty much anything.blademaster7 wrote...

Have you gotten that far with a male PC? Did you say "I will always protect you Morrigan" afterwards? I couldn't resist not to click that response, even knowing that she will break my hard. Sigh.Addai67 wrote...

the annoyance remover mod. I hate the glowing effects.
I've just beaten the spider queen after about a thousand attempts. So annoying... I think it was my hardest battle so far...

Yeah, that spider fight can be a pain even with a full party, you've got the broodmother coming up, let us know how that goes

Yes sir. Here is the "famous" Warden driving a flaming axe into Flemeth's head. And if she comes back, he'll do it again. As many times as it takes.blademaster7 wrote...

What a line to melt a woman. Unfortunately, it must have really cut Morrigan's heart to hear it.
I wish they acknowledge that line in the sequal.

Now, there does not seem to be anyway to start a romance. Will something else come up or would I need to give her the mirror?

The game really f--ed up in terms of what actually happens in the game vs. what the devs and writers say.
Example: Loghain is not meant to be an obviously evil figure. According to Dave G he simply thought the battle was unwinnable and decided to save what he could.
IN THE GAME: All Loghain needs is a moustache to twirl. The second you meet him he's obviously up to no good and acts COMPLETELY evil up until you recruit him, where he basically becomes a completely different character vs. what you've experienced in the game to that point.
So the game storytelling failed on many levels. That's just one example. This... PROBLEM with Morrigan is yet another failure.
Dave G's comic [and his many comments strewn about] obviously lead to one thinking that asking for the ritual took a lot out of Morrigan... she felt she did what she had to do, and she took no pleasure in hurting her friends, nor are her intentions evil.
IN THE GAME: Your romance means little. She's coldly business-like to the point where people REFUSE to trust her. And I don't blame them, because it's so POORLY PRESENTED. Like what the dev's were aiming for with Loghain [a 3 dimensional fallen hero who could be redeemed] you instead get a witch who acts like she doesn't care about anyone or anything besides getting what she wants.
DAO was a good game, but epic fail in some storytelling bits that just don't jive with what was intended. I can wish they spent more time on the climax and deneoument of the game, but it's pointless.
I just hope they give DA2 more love and care, story wise.
Just because they didn't end up with what they intented doesn't it mean that they failed. Many times works of genius stems from accidents. However, I do think Loghain was poorly presented. He is a completely different character when you recruit him (I didn't though). And I think inconsistency, especially in character development, can kill a game.
As for Morrigan, I think she's a great character overall. Only two things I didn't really like though. 1) Having the ritual. Not her leaving, but just the ritual itself. I think it detracts from the main story of the Warden and siphons the attention to her and her plans. It's like she had this thing going the entire time and you're just a pawn. Maybe I'm just narcissistic. 2) The lack of closure with the romance. I don't care if they never saw each other again. But tell us if that's what happened!! Don't give us one of those, he went to look for her, but whether or not he found her we don't know... Like really? I do hope they will give us more closure in the future. Bioware doesn't do this, I don't know whose idea this was. Any romance they've ever done has had closure. Revan and Shepard mainly. But Morrigan just leaves us hanging. WTF?

All I can say is
I really don't want to finish his game. It's so depressing. All of my femWardens get the guy, and I think my mCousland would prefer to slay the archdemon and have it be the end. He couldn't say no to Morrigan, of course. I suppose I'll do his final eventually, to see the epilogue.

notoriously unbalanced, though the do look pretty.
I don't use exploits or cheats btw. Nor to I use mods that disrupt the balance of gameplay.
My equipment for the dragon battle was.
-Duncans dagger - +10 to dragons hell yeah
-The Edge
-Wades Superior Drakeskin armor - fire resist
-Helm of Honnleath - No helmet mod
-Lifegiver ring
-Key to the city
I also bought the rose's thorn right before entering the deep roads.... costed me a fortune, there goes all my money...
