-Do you think the Eluvian world functions in the same way as a full separate realm of existence, complete with spirits or even creatures (similar to what we'd compare to Daedric realms in the Elder Scrolls series), or do you think its just another extension of the fade with fade spirits?
-Do you think the Eluvian world somehow has a forge somewhere for Wardens to have new armor and weapons made for a possible (though not probable) return in the timespan between their entry and when they return to Thedas? Or do you think Morrigan may somehow have the power there to magically create armor/robes/weapons for her Warden lover?
Its a random set of questions, like I said, but I've wondered about these for a while

I think it leads to the black city or a part of the fade that would be normally inaccessible otherwise.
Or it could lead to the ruins of Arlathan, where Morrigan is hoping to find powerful artifacts. Or the two might be exactly the same.

I am more worried about food and water personally. Are we going to have to play a hunter-gatherer family, with Morrigan picking fruits and us doing all the manly hunting? What if there are no animals and plants where we are heading?
As for armor / robes, I'd think Morrigan would prefer the Warden to remain naked, no?
Eherm, but yea I do not know. Hopefully the Warden can find some powerful artifacts for his own use.

I think her words we "it leads to a place beyond the Fade".

I don't see how it could be Arlathan, since it was a physical place, that was destoyed/sank (I don't remember which) by the Tevinters.

Pah! That Warden is a fool! A fool I tell you!
Just asking - how does one put a personal pic as their profile pic rather than the usual stock Bioware ones/ your own DA character ones? I really want to put a picture of Morri as my profile pic rather than a chubby volus

I still think the Black City is another realm entirely seperate from the Fade, given how it is equidistant from every single location in the Fade, so my pet theory is that the Black City itself conceals another dimension within its walls (so its much bigger inside than outside, like a TARDIS) and that's where the eluvian leads to.
Following on from that, it stands to reason that it would have its own flora and fauna (such as they are), like the Daedric realms.
I prefer KoP's theory. Hunter-gatherer family wearing only the barest scraps of clothing (if that).-Do you think the Eluvian world somehow has a forge somewhere for Wardens to have new armor and weapons made for a possble (though not probable) return in the timespan between their entry and when they return to Thedas? Oh, I am very well aware that Morrigan will want her Warden appropriately "dressed" to be with her in this realm
As for food, I'm... reasonably sure Morrigan packed snacks for the trip... one would think to do so, right?

Though I still have limited knowledge on the subject, I can agree with this line of thinking. You have the mundane in Thedas, the purely spiritual/magical/dream-based in the Fade, it stands to reason that there could be a balance in the dimension you say lies beyond the Black City. Whether this is right or not, It would be amazing to see. Shivering Isles was one of the best parts of Oblivion, so seeing a surreal-but-physical realm somewhere in Dragon Age would be great.

That's the second step of my plan. First was getting into Morri's tent.

Hey, I was thinking for a while of a kinda-random set of questions about Morrigan and Eluvian world and I'd like everyone's opinion on it, even if some questions about Eluvian world have been given the proverbial dead horse-beating:
-Do you think the Eluvian world functions in the same way as a full separate realm of existence, complete with spirits or even creatures (similar to what we'd compare to Daedric realms in the Elder Scrolls series), or do you think its just another extension of the fade with fade spirits?

I lean towards a full seperate realm "beyond the fade." Gives Gaider and co more creative freedom.
For the second question, I would say both. For an already powerful warden, I would see any easy way to bring him back as a character with Eluvian-specialized special abilities similar to Faris' wierd lighting blur fighter powers.
Morrigan rocks!

Hmm... I ought to draw her sometime. 'Twould be a good way to get in some fabric-shading practice, not that she wears very much of it. I usually draw Leliana and my warden PCs though.

Question. What do you prefer. Morrigan's hair clipped or spread loose (not sure if those are the accurate technical terms)?

(the artist in me is fangirling all the organic texture in the piece. XDDD And of course it's more awesome because it's Morrigan... though her wolf-eyes isn't that visible in here)
