Triss while much better than Shani as a LI, is a distant second to Morrigan but a Morrigan nonetheless. If Witcher 2 has Triss as canon, I bet becuase like Morri, most users picked her as LI. My speculation. Something about those Sorceresses...

Bleh..Hawke....yeah, if they cast aside the Warden with a codex entry only to have a previously romanced Morrigan pull a Jaheira with Hawke or the New Super Epic Revolving Door Roster Change Hero of Thedas in DA3....well, I would normally say I'd nerd rage, but I fully expect BioWare to pull some stupid crap like that at this point.

Now back to TW2 -still in Act 2 on first run
Arooooh! Arooooh! Arooooh!
A fine, hot Morrigan pic!
Love it!
Welp... I tore the front of pants. Denim is painful.

According to the mod notes...
"Re Morrigan's mop:
Though she wasn't present in game, there was a msh created for her. I decided to make her mop for all the Morrigan fans who missed her cameo. The mop is as is, the only thing I added was the hair, transfered the original eye texture and used the same tints."
So that's what Morrigan would've actually looked like in DA2?!?

I truly hope that was a very rough mop that Bioware would have heavily tweaked, had they actually intended to have Morri make an appearance in DA2.
The facial features are waaay off from how she looked in both Origins and SA trailer...

Judging by the bodge-job they made of Zevran, I doubt it.

*insert screeching brake sound effect*

ARE YOU ****TING ME?
BioWare seriously was actually going to have Morrigan show up looking like this!?!?

And they thought that at all looked close beyond the same hairstyle?

Good lord BioWare stop eating lead paint chips and get your annual eye exam for crying out loud.
Maybe someone more technically proficient at digging around the game could verify thats actually what Hot Rod Samurai™ Morrigan would actually look like. I mean really?

Angry Morrigan is horrified

Well hell, they should have had Fat Morrigan in Witch Hunt then considering she's already had the OGB at that point.

Hopefully, that disaster of a face was left out for a reason and they're not waiting to spring that creature on us in some DLC. Yet, after seeing how they ravaged everyone else's faces from Origins, I'm not holding out hope.

I hope Bioware don't go and mess things up with Morrigan in DA3. Here is to hoping Bioware hears the market and the thread and Morrigan's fans because money is involved regarding of not buying the game and as well as critics as it was with DA2.

But, seriously. With the new graphics engine, there seems to be such a disconnect between porting Origins characters into DA2. What was hot in Origins becomes...pudding-like in Kirkwall. With the exception of Cullen, who (miraculously???!!) got hotter.

I personally wonder why both Cullen's and Alistair's hair got the Eminem treatment. Every time I looked at Cullen (or Alistair's screens, as I haven't reached any point with his cameo yet), my mind was boggled by how light their hair was. But thats another issue for another place.
I agree with how disconnected imported content is in DA2 in regards to characters. And I'm even more glad now that DA2 didn't have any trace of Morrigan with that particular face build. It isn't even remaining baby-fat or anything I see thats discouraging. Its all the little nuances, like jaw structure, the choppiness of her hairstyle in DA2-mode, the fact that her eyes seem way different in size and color. I don't know if I'm seeing things incorrectly, but it definitely doesn't look like Morrigan <_<

NO, WHY WHY did you say that. Now, I'll never be able to unsee Slim Shady whenever I look at Cullen and you've effectively ruined the only good thing

For real! Pudding/chubby issues aside, the hair's the same, the makeup is (I guess) the same tint, but the features don't really resemble the original model. For example: her mouth shape, I think, is the most drastic example. And her eyes too. I don't think it's just you.

It's not impossible for the DA2 engine to transfer things well. Cullen looked great (hair aside, but the hair looked **** in DA:O as well), as did Leliana. So if that's real I just don't understand why they thought it looked similar at all. For an engine that was supposedly heavily optimized compared to DA:O that's a pretty ******-poor showing.

I'd say it depends on who's recreating the faces.
Cullen and Leliana both looked great. Zevran obviously didn't. That Morrigan face came out even worse than Zev.
I believe they could make an almost spot on match, if they assign the right person to the job and give him/her enough time to do things properly.
The abomination displayed in this thread is obviously an example of how NOT to do it..
