Lol! Must be stress of parenting and the domestic arguments with the Warden, compounded by clever machinations to survive and alter the fate of Thedas on her terms. Never easy balancing work and family life...

I was the one that took that screenshot from DA2.

That's not an older looking Morrigan.
That's a deformed looking creature trying to impersonate Morrigan.

They certainly need to take a good step back from that. If that's the best they can do then I guess I can bury Morrigan next to Zevran.

I downloaded the WH 1.1 patch with daupdator and still got the wrong dialogue. Anyone know what else would cause that?
My main charactor is female=no romance, did the DR with Loghain in the file imported, sucessfully. However, after I finished the final battles, I later went back to the last save before it and did sidequests, so my most recent save is "before" the epilogue; so to get the correct dialogue, would I have to use "advanced" import to pick the epilogue save?
Also, on the daupdator application, if I open it again and select the same patch file, it doesn't recognize that I already installed it...is this normal?
PC version btw, if that matters.

The official patch notes say: "When importing from a post-game save, your conversation with Morrigan in the Witch Hunt module will properly reflect the choices you made in Dragon Age Origin's "Dark Ritual" plot."

Which means that yes, you will have to use the advanced import to pick your post game save. I think the post game save is the one that puts you in the party camp after the epilogue.

An alternative is to use this mod, which fixes all Morrigan dialogue issues, not just importing ones.

Yes, right at the beginning of the dlc actually. The details about various bugs and import issues are all in Brock's OP.

And even before that, you can actually tell your relationship state and the state of the DR.

When Claudia Black gives the Morrigan voice over at the very beginning, she says the line "Do not follow, I said-" the very next part of that line is different depending on how you left things.

- If you did the DR with her or romanced her, the next part of that line is " Harder words I have never spoken."

- If you have a DR bugged ending or you turned down the DR its-"and slipped into the shadows."

-If you did the DR but didn't romance her she says "yet you search even so".

- Then its different again if you have an Orlesian Warden.

Though this thread be ancient, I've decided against mod-romancing Morrigan since I realized how perfect this song is for her departure at the end of Witch Hunt. I'm tempted to play DAO again just so I can actually bring Morrigan along in my party, despite the risk of massive and constant disapproval...

Hi all , I am just nearing the end of a playthrough of origins - awakening - witch hunt and was just wondering if morrigan would recognise the romance and ritual we did , if I talked to her after we did the ritual to get the sorrow and rergret ending but then gifted her the mirror post landsmeet to get her back to love. I have heard that it will work but would just like some comfirmation if at all possible.

I think it should work fine. When you first start up Witch Hunt you'll know if it imported right based on what Morrigan says in the voiceover in the beginning.

Just copy/pasting from the first page of this thread:

Say guys do you all remember when Morrigan said she has to prepare the child for what is to come, I am starting to think that the Eluvian Portal is like that thing off of Dragon Ball Z a year in the portal means 1 day in the real world.It seems Morri and our Wardens will come back VERY POWERFUL Mage wise not to sure if a Warrior and an Rogue Warden can get stronger.What do you all think the Portal is?

I think it is a safe haven, for which only Morri has the "key" allowing her to protect the child and train it until it is old enough and powerful enought to fullfil his destiny, as Morri sees it. It will also have the benefit of legendary parents!

It's a safe haven to protect herself, her child and the Warden from bad writing. Hopefully they stay in there until it's safe.
